"1. Room decor. The room features smart controls, is relatively new, and is generally clean. The room faces east and west, allowing for sunlight.
2. Hotel location. It's close to Lufeng South Station and about 700 to 800 meters south of Jinshan Ancient Town. It's also close to Xingxiu Park, perfect for leisure and entertainment. A market is located just west of the hotel, where you can buy breakfast and fruit, making it quite convenient.

"Service: I requested a side room, but the front desk lady, with a poker face, assigned me one. Later, Ctrip customer service explained that this was the room type I'd booked. I accepted this. The room didn't match the photos. There were no family-friendly elements, no dinosaur towels, no children's ornaments, and no children's books. There was no iQiyi membership as mentioned in the reviews, and certainly no beautiful scenery as featured on Xiaohongshu.
Environment: Relatively clean. The view from the window was disappointing. There's nothing near the hotel. I personally felt that Jinshan Ancient Town was a bummer.
Facilities: Relatively new. Equipped with Xiaodu and TCL TVs. The bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioning was very fragrant and humming.
Ctrip's service was excellent. They specifically called to coordinate. Thank you, Ctrip. The hotel didn't match the online (Xiaohongshu) promotion or the Ctrip photos. I wouldn't recommend it and won't be back."

"We brought our child to Dinosaur Valley, and the overall experience was great! The room was clean and tidy, perfectly comfortable as a resting spot after a day of fun. Let's talk about the package contents: the Qilongwan Hot Springs next door were fantastic, with a wide variety of pools, from fun kids' pools to quiet wellness pools. The environment was also very well-maintained, surrounded by greenery, making for a very relaxing soak. The Space-Time Park included in the package was the highlight, with an incredible dinosaur-themed atmosphere. Our little one was super excited to see the giant dinosaur models! Unfortunately, it rained on the day we visited, and our child wasn't tall enough for many of the thrilling or outdoor rides. However, just the indoor exhibits and areas suitable for younger kids kept him busy exploring for quite a while. We'll definitely come back when he's a bit older to experience all the attractions we missed this time. It feels like this place is perfect for children of different ages to visit repeatedly!"

"This hotel gave me a great stay experience! The room was spacious and bright, the bed was soft and comfortable, lying on it as if you were in the cloud, and you had a good night's sleep. The big bathtub in the bathroom is the finishing touch. After a busy day, take a bath and the fatigue will dissipate instantly. When I checked in, the young lady was quick and patient. She introduced the hotel facilities and surrounding play routes in detail, and also took the initiative to help upgrade the room type. Intimate to no! If you have any needs in the future, you can contact the front office and get a response and solution as soon as possible. There is no prevarication at all. Whether it is the details of the smile service or the ability to deal with problems efficiently, the whole check-in process is particularly comfortable. AAnonymous UserThe location is on Zhongxin Street, near the Longchuan River. Take the green leather train from Kunming Station at 6:30 in the morning and arrive at 8:00. After leaving the station, take a horse-drawn carriage or take a taxi to the farmer's market in the ancient town. The inn is closer to the inn than the entrance of the village. Both a horse-drawn carriage and a taxi cost 5 yuan for 3 kilometers. If you feel fun, take a horse-drawn carriage to the inn. I originally booked a double bed room, but I didn’t clean it up, so I went shopping and changed to a tatami room. The room was quite big and clean, with air conditioning. I didn’t expect it to have automatic curtains. The hot water was big and comfortable, and the bedding was clean. I stayed for two nights during the May Day holiday. The boss not only opened an inn, but also opened a restaurant and sold salt and pear vinegar. There were two banquets held on May Day, and it was a bit noisy, but everything else was fine. Going out at night to enjoy the night view, eating barbecue by the river is very good!

There's a big swimming pool downstairs. Getting to Dinosaur Park and the Heritage Park is very convenient with electric shuttle service; you just need to make a call. The bedding is very comfortable; I woke up without any back pain, and the pillows were excellent, making for a great sleep. The TV offers a wide variety of shows without needing to pay extra! However, there are also many downsides: it feels like they're a bit too eager to make money. They started taking guests before the renovation dust was even cleaned up, and the strong renovation smell was irritating! It's not suitable for families with young children! I originally came for the breakfast, thinking it would be more convenient with kids, but unfortunately, the breakfast was very simple, similar to what you'd find at a 3-star hotel, and the service wasn't great. The breakfast was a big disappointment. The sink design is flawed; water splashes onto the bed when you wash your face, so they might need to install a splash guard. There weren't enough slippers either; only one pair of disposable slippers was provided.

After asking, we got an ”upgrade” to another floor and got a nice and clean and fresh renovated room.
The staff took forever to process our registration, never had that before...
The staff was friendly and professional in every situation. The security guy was very lovely and kind. Not so the lady at the breakfast buffet, but maybe she had a bad day...
They stored our bicycles in a room in the lobby. Thanks for that.
The hotel is a little away from the centre but there are some restaurants and shops around.
