"The room was great! The front desk staff upgraded us to a scenic room on the 5th floor, and the service staff were all very attentive. The breakfast spread at the restaurant was comprehensive, and they even had fresh squeezed juice. The pizza for lunch was delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel's buggy service was also very convenient. They even provided a hotel shuttle to Dai Luoding, and the staff called multiple times to confirm, making us feel right at home. The only minor drawback is that the bathtub and the room's seating area should be separated. The bathtub water easily overflows, and then you have to wipe the floor, or you might slip if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night."

"We really enjoyed stay in this place, the room is big and clean, there are lot of activities offered by hotel, like beads making, Chinese graphic writing, games, tea, etc. There is a restaurant in the hotel as well where making delicious meals. There is no fridge in the room, you can put the drink and food in the hotel restaurant fridge. The hotel is in the Wutai mountain scenic range, easy to get to the temp by car next morning. Overall experience is pleasant and highly recommended."

"It is a newly built hotel with the following advantages:
1. The location is very good, the hotel has a parking lot, and the hotel is very close to the entrance of Mount Wutai. It is difficult to make a reservation for vehicles entering Mount Wutai (it is not recommended to drive to Mount Wutai by yourself, because there is a serious traffic jam in the Mount Wutai scenic area and parking is difficult, so drive yourself) It’s very inconvenient to go in and play). It only takes a few minutes to walk to the entrance and you can take the free bus into Mount Wutai.
2. If there was no construction outside, it would still be very quiet at night.
3. The room is relatively large.

The shortcomings are:

Nanman Nanman is definitely the best choice for this trip to Wutai Mountain. We booked an extra night to savor the experience, not wanting to miss a single moment from the first rays of sunlight to the fall of night. Breakfast was served in a prime spot by the window, bathed in sunlight, which was incredibly soothing. The courtyard offered stargazing at night, and the terrace offered distant mountain views during the day. The guest rooms were picturesque, like paintings, adding to the comfort. The various public spaces within the hotel allowed for careful exploration. On our first evening, while strolling around, we even discovered fruit atop a money tree in the shared space – it was the first time we'd ever seen a money tree bear fruit! It was a truly magical experience. The owner's attention to detail was evident in many places, far surpassing the stereotypical five-star hotel. Although the space wasn't large, the interior design and space utilization were incredibly thoughtful. The staff were also very friendly. After our experience, we recommended it to our friends, and they all loved it. We hope the owner continues to improve and perfect the hotel, and we'll definitely come back with friends next year. A small suggestion: we noticed many birds chirping in the mornings. Adding a feeding service in the courtyard would provide food for the birds and allow guests to do some good deeds, creating a wonderful experience. 🙏

Many food and store available nearby. Early morning breakfast before pilgrimage, is not a problem, many affordable buffet arround at 15 RMB.
If you want to go for 5 terrace pilgrimage, the transport will come to pick at the hotel, because the location is nearby
The hotel owner also can help to book for the five terrace trip.

TTAN BOON LIANG BERNARDThis is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate .
During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day.
The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room.
The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains.
Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

GGuest UserWholeheartedly recommend this place. It is clean and comfortable, with really modern showers/barhrooms.
Additionally - the real highlight - Liu Kaidi couldn’t have been more helpful in helping to organize our trip with us. Amongst other things she: answered all of our questions we had about our hike around Mount Wutai, gave us a route and map, was extremely responsive on WeChat throughout our time in the area. She also allowed us to leave bags during our hike free of charge, helped us book and catch our bus to Taiyuan, arranged our bus to the East Terrace at 3.30am at the start of our hike (waking us up) and gave us a fantastic food recommendation for dinner (even walking us to the restaurant).
Our stay would not have even the same without her help and we are so grateful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I came to the area.

GGuest UserOt's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly.
The hotel is also close to the central bus station.
The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were.
She then helped us to get our partial redunds.
And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong.
She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away.
So top marks for her customer service
The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast )

What surprised me most was that the 100-yuan budget hotel actually had its own laundry room, which was too friendly for the family who came out to play. The boss’s attitude was also super good when I checked in. Seeing that I was here to travel, I helped me plan the next day’s itinerary for free. The boss’s stomach was too full of Wutai Mountain knowledge reserves. After the relatives came, they could consult directly.
