I'm quite particular about cleanliness when staying in hotels, and the bedding and toiletries at Hanting Hotel Central District were spotless. Even with my cleanliness standards, I felt completely comfortable using them. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, especially one lady with glasses who was so warm and attentive. Thank you! 🙏 The restaurant food was also delicious! It was my first time trying Dazhi Wutai Mountain beer, and I highly recommend it!!!"

"The stay experience exceeded expectations, the hotel was cleaned very meticulously, and there was no dust in the corner. The room is well lit, air conditioning, hot water, toiletries are all available. The front desk staff was gentle and the check-in and check-out speed was very fast. "I looked at many hotels and guesthouses in Wutaishan and finally chose the Ji Hotel. Its location is probably the furthest in, with limited dining options nearby. Luckily, the hotel's small restaurant has good food and offers excellent value for money; you can't go wrong with their dishes. The hotel also provides a shuttle service (basically on-call), which I must commend! It's conveniently located near Shuxiang Temple and Dailuoding. Before I arrived, I contacted the front desk to help me find a carpool, which saved a lot of time and effort compared to taking a bus. The price of 100 RMB was also reasonable. The car picked me up directly from the station and took me to the hotel. For the return trip, I just told the driver my pick-up time in advance, and they were always on time. I would definitely choose this place again for my next visit."

"This is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate . During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day. The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room. The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains. Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service. Overall we enjoyed our stay here."

"My family's stay at the Encounter B&B completely exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised the moment we stepped into the courtyard. After asking the owner, we learned that the B&B had just been renovated in March of this year, and every facility exuded a brand-new feel. The smart technology throughout the home was particularly thoughtful. Voice-activated Tmall Genie controls for lighting, air conditioning, and curtains, and the smart toilet further enhanced our comfort. Every detail was filled with conveniences. The cleanliness was absolutely commendable. The bedding and bathroom supplies were reassuringly clean, and the common areas were immaculately tidy. Our favorite part was the courtyard, with its subtle, ancient charm. Sitting there in the sun during the day and chatting with family in the evenings was a perfect way to instantly recharge our travel fatigue—perfect for a leisurely vacation. Even more touching was the owner's hospitality. From helping with luggage upon check-in to proactively recommending nearby attractions and local delicacies, they provided patient and timely assistance with any questions I had. They were like friends. Plus, the B&B has its own parking lot, making it incredibly convenient for those driving by, without the hassle of finding a spot. This experience was perfect. I have recommended this B&B to my friends and will definitely choose it again next time I visit here!"

"The hotel is about one stop away from the end of the shuttle bus of Wutai Mountain Scenic Area. The owner of the store was very enthusiastic and made pertinent suggestions for us to go up the mountain, because we did not make an appointment in advance to enter the mountain. (This is really difficult. You have to grab an appointment three or two days in advance, and you may not be able to make an appointment. After you arrive, you can find a local tour guide who has a high price to enter the mountain.) However, the boss suggested that we should not drive up the mountain because even if you drive up, it is difficult to find a parking space on the mountain. Not every scenic spot has a parking lot, but the scenic bus has a stop at each scenic spot, so we decided to park the car at the parking lot at the foot of the mountain and take the shuttle bus up the mountain. It was indeed as the boss said. It took more than 20 minutes to reach the end point~Dailuoding Station. Because we arrived at the foot of Wutai Mountain at 10 o'clock in the evening, the boss drove to pick us up in person after we arrived. He said that there is actually a No. 9 bus at this end that can go directly to the hotel. Along the way, the boss explained to us the travel strategy of Wutai Mountain and the suggestions and precautions for worshiping Buddha. The hotel is located on the mountain. There is a large night market and all kinds of restaurants. They are open until late, so you don't have to worry about going up the mountain late and going hungry. The hotel is clean and tidy, with good sound insulation. The key is that it may be because it is in Lingshan Mountain. It is very comfortable to sleep and relieve fatigue. It is recommended that you stay in the mountain if you can. The sleep quality is really 8. It's so good. The next day we went to Wuye Temple, and the boss asked his young nephew to drive us to the foot of Wuye Temple. It was really thoughtful. Next time I go, I will definitely stay at this hotel. The price-performance ratio is absolutely high!"

"Self-driving tour, I wanted to live in Wutai Mountain Scenic Area, but after the tour, I felt that it was really great to live here. The car was parked downstairs, which was very convenient. , Living in the mountains is far from the hotel, driving parking spaces are difficult to find, and those who do scenes have to run with their luggage. Self-driving treasures really recommend. The price is very high. , The only bad thing is that I live in the innermost part, and the hot water needs to be put for a long time before I can barely reach the standard of bathing. Within my range, the village can have this condition and accept some shortcomings."

"My wife and me stayed there for 5 nights in Oct/Nov 2025. The location is good and away from the hustle and bustle of tourist activities. It’s in a quiet location and you can do your hikes up to 凤林禅寺, one of the rare few operating monastery with quietness and serenity in the area. The staff there are friendly, welcoming and professional. Room was cleaned thoroughly and the snacks in the room replenished daily. Their vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner is simply awesome. I look forward to it everyday. The chef 赵师傅 is a master in creating delicious vegetarian meals. The other staff worth mentioning are 茵茵,阿文,宝珠and小王. The only thing they can improve on is to consider installing a self-service laundry room with a dryer. Will return if I’m visiting 五台山again."

"Our room was on the basement level, and I could see male chefs from other restaurants chatting outside the window, which made me feel a bit unsafe. After I told the front desk, they immediately moved us to a room on the second floor. The facilities were quite new, and the toothpaste was rose apple flavored. They even brought complimentary fruit in the evening. It's right next to Jifu Temple Station, which is very convenient. We came during the May Day holiday. Other hotels doubled their prices, but Tuya only increased by less than 30%, which is truly conscientious. Since there weren't as many people as before during this holiday, they even provided breakfast, which was also delicious. I highly recommend it for its service and value for money – five stars!"
