It is adjacent to Qionghai Wetland Park in just 14 minutes by car, Lushan Mountain in only 31 minutes by car, Dashiban Village in only 1 hour and 18 minutes by car, Qionghai 17 degree walking in only 8 minutes, Xingyue Lake Park walking in only 8 minutes, Tangyuan walking in only 12 minutes, Xiaoyu Village driving in only 25 minutes, and Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital walking in only 8 minutes; Catering, laundry, and other supporting facilities are all in place. Wanda Plaza is located downstairs of the hotel and is a 3-minute walk away.
"The sea view room I booked has a large floor-to-ceiling window, good hygiene, and a great location. I have a few complaints: 1. I stayed for 3 consecutive nights during the May Day holiday. The average room rate was over 1,000 per night, and it was considered an upper-level room in the hotel, but there was no refrigerator. 2. The hair dryer was too bad. The wire inside was burning and red. My wife didn't dare to use it. 3. The bathtub was in a good location and was quite large, but it didn't come with a disposable bathtub cover. I didn't dare to use it and it became a decoration. 4. There was no window in the bathroom. No matter how good the ventilation vent was, it was not as comfortable as a window. 5. You have to ask the front desk for disposable razors. 6. The smart toilet is not fully smart and can only flush by induction. That's all for now. I pay more attention to the accommodation when I travel, so I am a little particular. I give it 80 points."

"Fantastic hotel with polite, attentive staff. The view from the room is really nice and the hotel has a nice tranquil feel to it. Outside the hotel there's a few restaurants, bubble tea shops and a convenience store.
The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and big bath. The mini fridge was restocked daily with sparkling water, Costa coffee and beer.
The breakfast was very tasty and although it was a set menu, there's plenty of choice and the menu was rotated between two options so you didn't end up with the same breakfast daily.
There's clothes washing facilities on site with complimentary detergent and softener, which is great for us (we like to travel light).
Overall a 5/5. If I had to be picky, my only issue is that I never did work out how to open the voice controlled curtains."

"First of all, a big thanks to the lovely front desk staff for upgrading me to a comfortable room in Xiaofeng Building, which is significantly larger than the business room. I chose Qionghai Hotel again because of its superb location, right in the heart of Qionghai Lake's most prime spot. The hotel itself is a scenic area, so you don't even need to leave to enjoy the beautiful views. As for the room facilities, they are indeed a bit dated, which I expected, and it didn't bother me. After all, it's great value for money. The highlights for me were the choice of 8 different pillows, the lunch and dinner buffets at the Jingshan restaurant (a group-buy buffet for less than 60 per person, far superior in taste to the surrounding restaurants), and the daily fruit and yogurt delivery to the room!"

"The front desk staff here were exceptionally helpful. They specifically showed me different rooms, including those with different orientations, and both king and twin bed options, displaying great patience throughout. The front desk service definitely deserves high praise. The hotel's hallways have a nice ambiance, and at each corner, there are clear signs indicating the room numbers for that section, which made finding my room much quicker. They provided both white and grey slippers, differentiating between male and female use, which was a thoughtful touch. The beds were also very neatly made. The room I stayed in also had good cross-ventilation, ensuring excellent air circulation."

"The family came to Xichang for a New Year's Eve trip and stayed in the family room of the Miramar Hotel. The overall satisfaction was very satisfactory. "Overall, I am quite satisfied with it. However, the hotel is semi-open. The room we stayed in faced the commercial street and was on the second floor. There were bars and restaurants everywhere. It was very noisy at night. The door to the balcony was broken and could not be closed. There was also a big brother quarreling downstairs in the early morning. I was really impressed. The sound was like it was right next to my ear. Earplugs were prepared in the room, but to be honest, it didn't help. I was surprised to have a good night dessert, but only one was delivered the next day and I didn't know how to divide it. After asking by phone, it was delivered quickly. As for breakfast, it felt very simple. I thought there was no set meal on the first day and didn't ask about it. On the second day, someone came to ask whether it was Chinese or Western. P.S. The speakers were quite a surprise."

I called ahead to let the front desk know my arrival time, and they even added me on WeChat to send me recommendations for local tours and food – that was really great, haha, very thoughtful! The service was excellent. When we checked in, the room was surprisingly spacious and well-lit, and the cleanliness was top-notch, super satisfied. The winter scenery in Xichang is also stunning, and sunbathing during the day was incredibly comfortable. If I ever get the chance to visit Xichang again, I'll definitely choose this hotel, hahaha."

"More like a resort than hotel. Huge private property really easy to get into and parking outside or underground. Outdoor restaurants, beautiful pool, several restaurants on the premises. Professional, welcoming, staff go out of their way to help with anything. Room super spacious and clean as a whistle. I stayed two nights earlier at Holiday Inn and it was an absolute filthy dump. The Clarion was Five out of Five in every category and just about the same price as the Holiday Inn. Don’t even need to think about it - Clarion for sure"

The room was incredibly spacious, with a reasonable layout, every corner was clean and tidy, and when the lights were turned on, it was bright and warm. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and professional, checked in quickly, and introduced the surrounding area attentively. Free pick-up and drop-off service between the high-speed rail station and the airport makes travel stress-free. If you are tired from playing at night, there is free midnight snack to warm your stomach. The intelligent decoration adds a lot of convenience and fun, it’s amazing!

Last year, my best friend and I stayed at the Heyue Hotel when we visited Xichang, and we loved it. So this year, my husband and I chose Heyue again. The rooms at Heyue are elegant and cozy. I especially liked the rooms with courtyards, where we could quietly enjoy tea and conversation in the afternoon. The breakfast was fantastic—a wide variety of delicious options; I wanted to try everything, but my stomach couldn't hold it all. Also, Heyue has very spacious public areas. Besides the front and back gardens and the central courtyard garden, there's a large tea room where you can read. They gave us a souvenir when we left, and thoughtfully provided bottled water for our journey. I'll definitely stay at Heyue again next time I'm in Xichang.

The location is very good. The view is very good. The hotel is very cost-effective for off-peak travel. The breakfast that my mother took the children to eat was average, but when we arrived in Xichang, any rice noodles were delicious. As a Liangshan native, I always try the Mianning BBQ restaurant downstairs on the left side of the hotel.

GGuest UserIn the early flight, Trip.com I booked Sichuan Airlines Golden Panda Dasha Store. It was very good. The hotel was very close to the passenger terminal. In the morning, there was a driver to drop off the plane. Breakfast was at 5 o'clock. The food was not too much, but it was already very good. I was very satisfied with a stay.

AAylasoulThis was my second night at this hotel. Lovely stay. Please read my initial review for proper feedback of the property. Great communication from the owner. Having booked the second night separately the code was changed and I was not informed, so I couldn’t get back inside smoothly, but on contacting the owner, I received an immediate response with a new code which is great. Being an international traveller, a few days ago I did not have a mobile number here which means this could have been a concern for me as I would have been unable to contact the owner on the go and did not know the code would be changed to ask in advance. I’m sure the owner upon reading this will consider this and improve it for future guests that book last minute like me :) All great and I would stay again :)
