"The front desk staff here were exceptionally helpful. They specifically showed me different rooms, including those with different orientations, and both king and twin bed options, displaying great patience throughout. The front desk service definitely deserves high praise. The hotel's hallways have a nice ambiance, and at each corner, there are clear signs indicating the room numbers for that section, which made finding my room much quicker. They provided both white and grey slippers, differentiating between male and female use, which was a thoughtful touch. The beds were also very neatly made. The room I stayed in also had good cross-ventilation, ensuring excellent air circulation."

"I came to Xichang for a marathon and booked this hotel in advance. The location is excellent, right behind Wanda Plaza. Within 500 meters, there are all sorts of great restaurants. In the evenings, you can also walk to Tangyuan for a stroll. The hotel is about 2 kilometers from the marathon starting line, so walking there in the morning served as a good warm-up.
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. When they heard I was running the marathon, they were especially enthusiastic. The hotel even prepared breakfast for us participants ahead of time. The rooms are spacious, facilities are quite new, and the decor is good. It's clean and hygienic, no issues there. There's a smart TV and a smart toilet. On the eighth floor, there's a well-equipped laundry room and gym, both of which I used.
What's a bit quirky is that the lobby for Datang and the Ji Hotel are combined. You can't tell from the outside; you have to walk through the Ji Hotel's lobby to find it."

"We booked a business twin room near the front desk. The front desk service was excellent. We arrived at noon and were told they could check if there were any rooms available for early check-in. They were, and my mother was delighted because she could get some rest early. From the room, we could see peacocks and squirrels hopping in the trees outside the window. It was quiet and relaxing. The hotel's ambiance was great, and the courtesy car service to the Black Swan Cafe was a great option for someone with limited mobility. It's also very close to Qionghai Lake and Lushan Mountain. I'd definitely stay again and have recommended it to friends."

"The hotel has a pick-up service. We made an appointment in advance with the hotel front desk. After arriving in Xichang, we got to the hotel smoothly and checked in directly. The hotel as a whole is very warm. There are robots in the lobby on the first floor and smart Xiaodu in the room. The experience is very good. This hotel is really great! Convenient location, clean and spacious rooms. The bedding is also very comfortable, allowing you to have a good sleep. "More like a resort than hotel. Huge private property really easy to get into and parking outside or underground. Outdoor restaurants, beautiful pool, several restaurants on the premises. Professional, welcoming, staff go out of their way to help with anything. Room super spacious and clean as a whistle. I stayed two nights earlier at Holiday Inn and it was an absolute filthy dump. The Clarion was Five out of Five in every category and just about the same price as the Holiday Inn. Don’t even need to think about it - Clarion for sure"

"Fantastic hotel with polite, attentive staff. The view from the room is really nice and the hotel has a nice tranquil feel to it. Outside the hotel there's a few restaurants, bubble tea shops and a convenience store.
The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and big bath. The mini fridge was restocked daily with sparkling water, Costa coffee and beer.
The breakfast was very tasty and although it was a set menu, there's plenty of choice and the menu was rotated between two options so you didn't end up with the same breakfast daily.
There's clothes washing facilities on site with complimentary detergent and softener, which is great for us (we like to travel light).
Overall a 5/5. If I had to be picky, my only issue is that I never did work out how to open the voice controlled curtains."

It is adjacent to Qionghai Wetland Park in just 14 minutes by car, Lushan Mountain in only 31 minutes by car, Dashiban Village in only 1 hour and 18 minutes by car, Qionghai 17 degree walking in only 8 minutes, Xingyue Lake Park walking in only 8 minutes, Tangyuan walking in only 12 minutes, Xiaoyu Village driving in only 25 minutes, and Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital walking in only 8 minutes; Catering, laundry, and other supporting facilities are all in place. Wanda Plaza is located downstairs of the hotel and is a 3-minute walk away.
"First of all, I would like to give a thumbs up.
1. Because we contacted in advance, we arrived at an early flight and were able to arrange check-in immediately;
2. The service response speed was good;
3. The overall cleanliness of the room was ok;
4. During the May Day holiday, we also gave away sweet soup, which was a great sense of ceremony;
5. The front desk checked in quickly.
Next are some small suggestions for improvement:
1. The takeaway guy can deliver directly to the door, which is convenient, but there are also safety hazards;
2. The hotel elevator does not require a card, which also poses a safety hazard;
3. The cleaning is more careful, the supplementary toiletries are leaking, the paper towels that should be thrown away are not cleaned, and the useful straws are thrown away, which is harmless, but can be improved;

"The girl at the front desk of the hotel is very enthusiastic. She pours you a glass of water when you arrive at the front desk. "The room was clean and comfortable; everything from the mattress and pillows to the sofa and disposable amenities was thoughtfully chosen. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom had both seated and squat toilets side-by-side, haha, voice-activated! There was even an echo when you spoke in the bathroom! The restaurant was on the 17th floor; the tableware was remarkably clean, and there were even children there. The breakfast was plentiful, including large chunks of beef noodles. The restaurant staff were warm and attentive. The receptionist was polite and welcoming. I felt right at home."

Although the hotel is not in the city, the surrounding roads are smooth and convenient to travel. I can't see the Bohai Sea, but it is actually very close to the Bohai Sea. The hotel has a separate yard, which is relatively large in scale. There are pavilions and ponds in the park. The architectural style is quaint. There are also many leisure areas. You can enjoy the sun and drink tea in the yard. The room was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, the favorite was this yard, very suitable for a leisurely holiday, live and play slowly.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a prime location, with ample parking spaces on both sides of the road at the entrance. It is close to Nanhong Agate Street, and you can walk to Qionghai Wetland Park. It is also convenient to drive to Torch Square to watch the Yi Torch Show. The hotel breakfast is delicious, the front desk service is enthusiastic, helping with luggage, delivering fruits every night, providing glutinous rice balls and steamed dumplings, which is very thoughtful. This time, the elderly in my family had stomach discomfort, and the front desk lady provided her own brown sugar. I am very grateful and will choose here next time.

I'm so satisfied that I want to stay again! Clean and comfortable! Although it is in the ancient city, it is not far from anywhere. It is very special to walk on the country roads! Good parking too! Not far from the inn is the large sunflower garden, and further ahead is the Qionghai Sea! Dashiban Village is also next door. As a gold medal customer of Ctrip, I rarely make this kind of comments, no! Highly recommended! ! You’ll know how good it is once you try it!

HHaibiandemuwu和家人一起出行，酒店其他各方面都還不錯，但是餐廳可以説是極其差。首先入住當晚，前台表示晚七點前都可以點餐或者選擇自助。到餐廳以後，負責人表示今晚有預訂席還未出菜，不能點菜，告知我們衹能吃自助餐。後來發現其實就是當晚旁邊的川航值班員工和慰問領導在宴席，所以廚房一方面要預備應付領導隨時加菜，另一方面也想偷懶不願意做了。選擇自助時發現米飯不僅涼了而且還有頭髮，找人反饋也根本沒有人理。直到後來有同樣在吃自助的員工反饋後就立馬解決了。兩天的早餐也極其簡單味道普通衹有包子饅頭和粥，相比同價格的華住亞朵差的不是一星半點。麪檔的澆頭衹有兩種用料也很差。我不懂這是川航的企業文化？應付領導比客人更重要？也難怪這樣的企業要客可以在航班進廚房指導乘務員發餐。還是説餐廳的工作人員自認為這是員工餐廳衹為員工服務，那既然這樣就不要提供餐食服務，做一家無餐廳酒店，把入住價格降下來。

CChengdufengyuI searched for resort hotels in Xichang on Ctrip, and it came down to a choice between the top two, so I picked this one. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way; if you don't have a car, you'll mostly rely on taxis. They do have fast and slow chargers, which is great for electric car owners! It's right next to Yinlin Beach, and you can reach Qionghai Lake by walking through the hotel lobby. The rooms and cleanliness are good, but the soundproofing is poor!
I brought my family this time and booked three rooms for two nights. On the last day, my elderly parents were too tired, so we requested a late checkout until 2 PM, which the front desk agreed to. Many thanks for that!
As a relatively expensive resort hotel, I do have a few suggestions. The front desk staff are excellent, but their uniforms are quite old and should be replaced – it detracts from the hotel's image!
There's no bellhop service, which is very inconvenient for guests with a lot of luggage or those with mobility issues! There are only two or three staff members that guests typically interact with, so certain services should not be skimped on! The dust on the front desk counter and computer screens was so thick you could write in it. The cleaning staff could take some time to address this, as it's an area guests see. Another unacceptable point is that all the seating in the public areas outside the lobby requires a fee. They should at least offer it for free to in-house guests! After all, it's a resort hotel, not a budget hotel, and it made my elderly parents feel they could only rest in their rooms.
Due to the hotel's somewhat remote location, food delivery usually takes over an hour. The hotel does have a Chinese restaurant, a Western restaurant, and a barbecue bar, which is convenient, though a bit pricey, as expected. I'd recommend eating out before returning to the hotel to rest!
The hotel breakfast is average, possibly because there aren't many guests on weekdays. I wonder how it will be during the upcoming long holiday.

AAylasoulThis was my second night at this hotel. Lovely stay. Please read my initial review for proper feedback of the property. Great communication from the owner. Having booked the second night separately the code was changed and I was not informed, so I couldn’t get back inside smoothly, but on contacting the owner, I received an immediate response with a new code which is great. Being an international traveller, a few days ago I did not have a mobile number here which means this could have been a concern for me as I would have been unable to contact the owner on the go and did not know the code would be changed to ask in advance. I’m sure the owner upon reading this will consider this and improve it for future guests that book last minute like me :) All great and I would stay again :)
