"Fantastic hotel with polite, attentive staff. The view from the room is really nice and the hotel has a nice tranquil feel to it. Outside the hotel there's a few restaurants, bubble tea shops and a convenience store. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and big bath. The mini fridge was restocked daily with sparkling water, Costa coffee and beer. The breakfast was very tasty and although it was a set menu, there's plenty of choice and the menu was rotated between two options so you didn't end up with the same breakfast daily. There's clothes washing facilities on site with complimentary detergent and softener, which is great for us (we like to travel light). Overall a 5/5. If I had to be picky, my only issue is that I never did work out how to open the voice controlled curtains."

"The sea view room I booked has a large floor-to-ceiling window, good hygiene, and a great location. I have a few complaints: 1. I stayed for 3 consecutive nights during the May Day holiday. The average room rate was over 1,000 per night, and it was considered an upper-level room in the hotel, but there was no refrigerator. 2. The hair dryer was too bad. The wire inside was burning and red. My wife didn't dare to use it. 3. The bathtub was in a good location and was quite large, but it didn't come with a disposable bathtub cover. I didn't dare to use it and it became a decoration. 4. There was no window in the bathroom. No matter how good the ventilation vent was, it was not as comfortable as a window. 5. You have to ask the front desk for disposable razors. 6. The smart toilet is not fully smart and can only flush by induction. That's all for now. I pay more attention to the accommodation when I travel, so I am a little particular. I give it 80 points."

"The hotel is located in the city center and is convenient for travel. There is a Walmart opposite the hotel and Times Square next to it, making shopping convenient. The service attitude of the girls at the front desk is very good, especially Xiao Wu. I will continue to choose Smart Selection next time I visit Xichang. "This was my first stay at the Xinhai Hotel. It's located in an area with many hotels, so I had to drive around the underground parking lot a bit to find it. The room was spacious and bright, simple and clean, with a separate wet and dry bathroom. The vanity was a comfortable length and easy to use, and the bed was quite comfortable as well. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and the nearby restaurant she recommended was delicious. Compared to other hotels in similar locations, staying here was truly excellent value for money. I highly recommend it! I heard the breakfast is good too, but I woke up too late to try it this time.
