"The room was spacious and clean, and the view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the sunshine in the morning was such a treat! The hotel itself is very photogenic, and the location is unbeatable. The Fishing Village and various shops are just a few minutes' walk away on either side. Strolling along the boardwalk at dawn, waiting for the sunrise, was incredibly relaxing. The food was also quite good. I highly recommend choosing a room in the Ocean View building here; sitting on the balcony sofa and soaking up the sun made me not even want to leave the room."

"Fantastic hotel with polite, attentive staff. The view from the room is really nice and the hotel has a nice tranquil feel to it. Outside the hotel there's a few restaurants, bubble tea shops and a convenience store. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and big bath. The mini fridge was restocked daily with sparkling water, Costa coffee and beer. The breakfast was very tasty and although it was a set menu, there's plenty of choice and the menu was rotated between two options so you didn't end up with the same breakfast daily. There's clothes washing facilities on site with complimentary detergent and softener, which is great for us (we like to travel light). Overall a 5/5. If I had to be picky, my only issue is that I never did work out how to open the voice controlled curtains."

"More like a resort than hotel. Huge private property really easy to get into and parking outside or underground. Outdoor restaurants, beautiful pool, several restaurants on the premises. Professional, welcoming, staff go out of their way to help with anything. Room super spacious and clean as a whistle. I stayed two nights earlier at Holiday Inn and it was an absolute filthy dump. The Clarion was Five out of Five in every category and just about the same price as the Holiday Inn. Don’t even need to think about it - Clarion for sure"

"My grandson declared before his school even broke up that he wanted to go on a trip with his grandparents during the summer holiday. To fulfill his request, we thought long and hard and decided on a relaxing few days in Xichang, which boasts the lakeside Qionghai and Lushan Mountain, a pleasant climate that's warm in winter and cool in summer, and even a Space City experience that kids love… I compared two hotels on Trip.com that were closest to Qionghai Lake (Qionghai Hotel and Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel), both old five-star establishments. After careful consideration, I booked a main building lake-view twin room at Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel for four nights and five days (July 3rd to 7th). After school finished, my grandson, my wife, and I traveled from Chengdu East to Xichang West by high-speed train, a 3.5-hour journey. We picked up the rental car my son booked on Trip.com and drove to Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel by Qionghai Lake, beginning our 5-day trip to Xichang… We stayed at the Park Hyatt for 5 days and 4 nights and also visited Qionghai Hotel. Firstly, I much preferred the ambiance of the Park Hyatt Hotel. Although Qionghai Hotel has a larger area and lovely greenery, and even peacocks roaming the grounds, its location closer to the city center makes it a bit more bustling compared to the tranquil atmosphere of the Park Hyatt. The water quality of Qionghai Lake in general is also inferior to the section by the Park Hyatt. The coastline here is more pristine and natural, with lush trees swaying in the breeze. Strolling through the woods and along the sandy beach, playing in the shallow water, taking a nap, jogging or cycling on the path, and swimming in the pool – it’s all much more enjoyable! Secondly, while Qionghai Hotel's architecture is indeed stylish and grand, I personally prefer the Southeast Asian style of the Park Hyatt Hotel, which is tucked away in the woods by Qionghai Bay, intermittently revealing a seaside vibe around the lake… No more rambling, let's get to the practical points: First, although the hotel has been open for over a decade, the architecture and facilities are well-maintained. The room facilities don't look old at all, and the Southeast Asian-style ceiling fan is convenient and comfortable to use. Second, the service attitude and cleanliness are thorough and responsible. Third, the breakfast is rich, healthy, and hygienic. Fourth, the pool water is clean. Overall, staying at the Park Hyatt Hotel with my grandson for 5 days and 4 nights was a good experience, and I discussed the few minor issues with the front desk."

"Overall, I am quite satisfied with it. However, the hotel is semi-open. The room we stayed in faced the commercial street and was on the second floor. There were bars and restaurants everywhere. It was very noisy at night. The door to the balcony was broken and could not be closed. There was also a big brother quarreling downstairs in the early morning. I was really impressed. The sound was like it was right next to my ear. Earplugs were prepared in the room, but to be honest, it didn't help. I was surprised to have a good night dessert, but only one was delivered the next day and I didn't know how to divide it. After asking by phone, it was delivered quickly. As for breakfast, it felt very simple. I thought there was no set meal on the first day and didn't ask about it. On the second day, someone came to ask whether it was Chinese or Western. P.S. The speakers were quite a surprise."

"Every time I come to Xichang, I will choose this hotel. The sea view room is particularly beautiful, the floor-to-ceiling windows are beautiful, and it is completely a 360-degree close to the sea view experience. The service is very good, the fruit is not heavy every day, and it is clean and tidy. Travel is very convenient, the bus station is near the entrance of the hotel. Swipe the card to go to the beach for a walk, very convenient and private, just a few minutes walk to the moonlight town. Dining and viewing are particularly convenient."

"A good choice for vacation. The hotel has a book bar, gym and hot springs, and the rooms are great. Although there are villages around, isn't traveling to get away from the city? A ten-minute walk away is the Qionghai Sea, and there is a walking path leading to Jinlin Beach. It only takes a few minutes to drive to Dashiban Village. At first, I saw some negative reviews and didn't dare to book here for the whole trip. I came here in the second half of the trip. There were many surprises when I checked in, welcome fruits, enthusiastic service staff, delicious breakfast, and the location was right between Shiban Village and Jinlin Beach. Except for the fact that this road is very congested during holidays, everything else is perfect. I want to stay here next time. It is far from the city, but it is still very convenient for self-driving, and there are buses on the road next to it."

"Traveling through, I booked this hotel based on reviews. It offers great value for money. All the buildings are low-rise, and the hotel environment is elegant and peaceful. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and hygienic. Parking is super convenient. There are many small fishing village BBQ restaurants right next to the hotel, all within walking distance. The hotel buildings are laid out longitudinally, so you don't hear any noise at all. Breakfast is also very plentiful. I will definitely rebook this hotel next time! 👍👍👍"

Stepping into the hotel area, the modern, minimalist white buildings shimmered in the sunlight, creating a picturesque scene against the backdrop of the clear blue sky and azure sea. A cute turtle sculpture at the entrance was playful and unique, and several palm trees swayed in the breeze, instantly immersing the hotel in a relaxing atmosphere. 📍The location is amazing! The endless sea view is right outside the door. Standing on the balcony of my room, whether watching the sunrise in the morning or the sunset over the sea in the evening, I had an incredibly romantic experience. 🏖The surrounding scenery is captivating. In the distance, you can see the hazy outline of mountains, adding a touch of poetry to the seascape. 🛎The hotel service was impeccable. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the thoughtful housekeeping in the rooms, every staff member was genuinely friendly and attentive. They were always there to help.
