"Checked in at night, the hotel lobby was magnificent. Duty manager Zhang Hui warmly greeted me and, seeing I'd had a bit too much to drink, proactively helped me. Big praise again for her! 👍 The room was very comfortable. It had 8 bottles of water, which is the most I've ever seen in a hotel. The hotel overall is very well-maintained, and the decor isn't outdated at all. Its location is absolutely superb, backed by Wanda, facing the sea to the north, and bordering Suochengli to the east. It's a truly prime spot. Next time I'm in Yantai, I will definitely choose Pullman Yantai again! Thanks again to duty manager Zhang Hui for her warm service."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, making it very convenient for getting around. It's clean and tidy, with neat rooms, soft bedding, and a full set of toiletries. The front desk staff are warm, polite, and responsive. Housekeeping does a thorough job. It offers great value for money, and my stay was absolutely perfect. For those who need parking, please note that this hotel charges for it. I would definitely choose this hotel again for business trips or vacations!"

"The Xinguang Marriott Hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Golden Beach, offering stunning sea views right from your window. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. During check-in, the front desk staff, Airla, provided exceptional service and even upgraded my room. There was a minor hiccup, but it was resolved well! The hotel facilities are excellent, with the heated pool and gym on the third floor offering a fantastic experience. The service team is warm and attentive, proactively responding to requests, which makes you feel very welcome. Whether you're on a family vacation or a relaxing getaway, this is the ideal place to stay for your trip to Yantai."

"Although I visited early in the morning, they allowed me to check in early, and I really liked being able to communicate comfortably via WeChat. The young female staff member at the front desk spoke English, making communication easy. The weather was bad until the last day of my trip, making it difficult to enjoy the final leg of the journey, but they extended my check-out time until 4 PM for free, even though it was originally 2 PM. The room condition was excellent, and they cleaned it thoroughly for the entire two-night stay. The location was also convenient as it is in the Wanda Mall building."

"I've been to Yantai many times, and this time I still chose the Baina Reating Hotel. Mainly because of its great location, spacious rooms, and the very helpful and observant front desk staff. The hotel's environment and facilities are also excellent. On my previous visits, there wasn't an outdoor restaurant on the 23rd floor, but this time there was. My husband and I had some drinks there and it was a wonderful experience. The service staff were all great, especially one very gentle and kind young lady. We checked out on Sunday and even bought some Yantai specialties from the hotel. Overall, it's really good – great value for money, a fantastic location, and the staff's attitude was excellent! I'm very satisfied!"

"🏨🍎 When choosing a hotel in Yantai, I picked the Indigo Yantai Golden Beach. My main reasons were that it's new, having opened in 2024, and it's said to have the best views in Yantai. Plus, I've always been a fan of Indigo's neighborhood story concept. For the room type, I specifically booked a Deluxe Boutique Seaview King Room, which is originally on floors 7-13. Upon arrival, Bonnie upgraded me to the 15th floor. It seems the higher the floor, the better the view and the more expensive, though the design layout and room size are pretty similar. The hotel is just across the road from Golden Beach, so you're truly living by the sea. The exterior looks a bit like a boot, which is quite noticeable when you look back at it from the beach. 😹 I stayed in room 1516, which is just a left turn from the elevator. The overall flow and space design upon entering the room were very clever. The clean king-size bed perfectly faces a 180-degree sea view. Sitting on the bed in the afternoon and gazing at the sea view was absolutely amazing. To the right of the bed, the bathroom is separated, featuring a bathtub by the window and a shower. The water pressure and temperature were quite stable. Oh, and upon check-in, I received complimentary welcome fruit and a mini-bar (4 drinks). I had a nectarine, some Yantai-specialty apple chips, and a Coke. They're quite generous with mineral water, providing 4 bottles per room per night, which is great. As for the breakfast buffet, it starts at 6:30 AM. Besides Western options like bread, salads, and sashimi, there are many authentic local delicacies, such as 'jianbing' (savory crepes), Jiaodong fried dough fish, and seaweed buns. It's a carb paradise, and the taste is pretty good, making for a very enjoyable meal. The restaurant's ambiance and views are fantastic; on a good day, you can fully enjoy your meal with the sea as your backdrop. By the way, I also bought afternoon tea and coffee, which I'll share in a separate post later. 👌 & Overall, this Indigo offers excellent value for money. The hotel staff are also very polite, enthusiastic, and attentive. If you're coming to Yantai, it's definitely worth a stay!"

"The hotel is right next to the bus station and very close to the train station. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and fruit stores nearby, and it's also close to RT-Mart. Public transportation to all the attractions is very convenient. The hotel service is excellent; they are very responsive and promptly meet our needs. What's even more thoughtful is the extended check-out time, which saved us from having to wander around. Highly recommended!"

"My first night here was great, so I extended my stay for another night. Housekeeping cleaned the room and replaced the amenities, and the price even dropped a bit. For those heading to Weihai, note that the Yantai Bus Terminal is right next to the hotel, and it's only about 300-500 meters from the train station. It's truly excellent value! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yantai – you definitely won't regret staying here."
