"It's been a long time since I've stayed in a guesthouse with such a charmingly old-fashioned (in a good way) location.
After parking on the mountain, you walk down a flight of stairs to the guesthouse, which has a slightly rustic, garden-like feel at the entrance. You need to climb up to the rooms; there are three floors in total, but no stairs. We stayed in the innermost room on the third floor. The room was large, very clean, and fully equipped. The heating was incredibly powerful (it really dries clothes!), there was a separate shower and toilet, and mosquito repellent was provided. The screens were very tight, so there were practically no mosquitoes in the room (and if there were, they weren't very smart). There was also a live TV.
The river view from the window was absolutely stunning! This view was definitely worth the climb up and down. You can see the ancient town and the river; in the morning mist and rain, it's perfect for sitting and enjoying tea. We even considered staying another day, but we had to get going in the end, hehe."

"Dig into the treasure hotel! Originally, the cockroach was booked casually, and the result was full of surprises. The room was cleaned and the bed was comfortable enough to almost not want to go out to play. The front desk service is gentle and intimate, and the work is quick. The environment is quiet and sleeps particularly well at night. The only downside: too good to live, easy to make people stay in bed, next time you come to lock this!"

The hotel facilities, cleanliness, and service were all excellent, and there's an elevator. The owner and staff provided great service too! The breakfast offered was delicious. Most importantly, the scenery was absolutely stunning! The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the old town, and it's not easy to find a taxi there. Luckily, the owner offers a pick-up/drop-off service, which is paid but reasonably priced. If you stay in the old town, you'd have to walk quite a distance with your luggage and climb stairs. Overall, I recommend this for travelers who want to see the old town's night view but don't want to forgo modern amenities.

Guest UserThe hotel is located within the Taohuayuan Scenic Area in Youyang, allowing guests to appreciate the beauty of the local architecture. The best part is that they even include entrance tickets to the scenic area. The service was attentive and welcoming, the facilities were complete and relatively new, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come back in the spring to see the peach blossoms.

I have stayed in many homestays, but this one really stands out. The bed is super comfortable, with moderate hardness and softness. I don't want to get up after lying down. There are many books in the public lounge area. You can play and communicate with other guests in your spare time and make new friends. Gongtan Ancient Town is as beautiful as a painting. The slow-paced life really makes people relax physically and mentally. There are bougainvilleas everywhere in the ancient town. The colors are bright and beautiful, and it is super beautiful with the green river water. And the lady at the front desk is really super gentle and nice.

The room's decor was thoughtful; the ceilings, wooden floors, and soft furnishings created a warm and inviting atmosphere, avoiding a cold and impersonal feel. Before booking, I was worried about the hot water, but after calling the owner to confirm, he turned on the water for me upon arrival, eliminating my concerns. The location and view were also excellent. The owner, a local resident, shared local history, culture, and customs. If you visit Gongtan Ancient Town, this guesthouse offers great value for money.

There are battery cars in the scenic area. For 2 yuan per person, you can ride directly to the south gate of the ancient city. The Peach Blossom Spring Scenic Area is at the south gate. The hotel can buy tickets on your behalf. , visit Peach Blossom Spring during the day and visit the ancient town at night.

Guest UserWe took a boat from Wanzu to Gongtan Ancient Town. We could see the inn when we got off the boat. We contacted the owner in advance and he received us warmly. Since we booked a room on a better floor, the owner took us to the inn by elevator from the South Gate Visitor Center. The inn has a good location, a large room, and a separate balcony. It's nice to drink tea and chat on the balcony at night.

xls930The room is quite nice, suitable for bringing children. It has a tatami room with two large beds and a balcony. I can sit on the balcony and watch the river in the early morning. The breeze is very comfortable and cool. There's just not much food nearby. Not many tourists, not crowded. There are discounts for booking a cruise with your landlord

luobei1I happened to see Gongtan in my travel notes, and I drove more than 1,000 kilometers with my family to take a look. I found the inn at random on the Internet. I didn’t expect the owner’s family to be very hospitable and simple. I was afraid that we could not find the way to the parking lot to pick us up. The check-in arrangement was very considerate. The room was simple but sanitary and clean, and the courtyard was exquisite. The next day we cruised on the Wujiang River. The check-out time was delayed by more than 2 hours. She did not ask for our overtime fee, although it was It is a commercial scenic area, but their simplicity has not been commercialized. We feel very comfortable and recommend it to everyone, hoping to have a happy journey!
