"Facilities: This is the best hotel in town, it has a restaurant, and its location is directly opposite the Colorful Danxia景区 (scenic area), just a few minutes' walk to the entrance.

"After half a month of traveling, this is by far the most comfortable place I've stayed. The decor has its own unique style, not like those generic hotels you see everywhere. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the lighting and little trinkets. Plus, all the amenities work perfectly and are super convenient – everything you need is there. The shower has great water pressure, the hairdryer is effective, and the Wi-Fi is incredibly fast. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and bright. It's perfect whether you're relaxing in or heading out to explore. For this price, getting all these perks is truly amazing value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next summer."

"Zhangye isn't a large city, so staying near the West High-Speed Rail Station is convenient. It's mostly residential around here, so the environment is generally quiet. Taxis are easy to find, and it's only a couple of kilometers to the city center, costing a very cheap six or seven yuan.
The only minor drawback is that you have to walk a bit with your luggage after getting off the high-speed train. I'd recommend just taking a taxi directly.
After a terrible stay in Dunhuang for the first two nights, I really put my trust in an international brand, and the management level is completely different. Hampton Inn isn't luxurious, but it has everything you need. Plus, the hotel is new, the soundproofing is excellent, and you can choose a memory foam pillow, which is great for people with neck problems. Also, the laundry room is fantastic! It started snowing in the morning and my pants and clothes got wet, but I was able to wash and dry them immediately after going back at noon, which was incredibly practical!
Because I had a late flight, the front desk allowed me a late check-out, which was great.
There's bottled water available on every floor, and plenty of seating in the lobby on the first floor, so you don't have to worry about lingering, and charging is convenient. The breakfast is decent, and considering it's around 300 yuan a night, it's quite reasonable.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel and highly recommend it for anyone staying in Zhangye."

"I brought my mom and brother along, and we booked a triple room. When we arrived in the evening, they upgraded us to a family suite for free, and all three of us had a great rest. From the moment we parked, we felt the warmth of the hotel staff. The security guard jogged over to help us with our luggage and recommended places to eat authentic Zhangye cuisine that night. The lobby staff offered us hot towels and tea, and another staff member helped carry our luggage up to the room. We initially thought of grabbing a quick bite on the second floor, but found the restaurant didn't offer local specialties. The staff there were very kind and directed us to a nearby restaurant that did.
The room was very clean and tidy, with everything we needed. Just look at the pictures! They even gave us small gifts.
The hotel is also very friendly to travelers. Next to the elevator in the lobby, there's detailed information about every attraction in Zhangye, and the front desk has local travel guides and dining recommendations.
Great stay, great food. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Zhangye."

"Traveling from Guangzhou, I've stayed at several hotels during my road trip, and while most have been satisfactory, this one truly stands out as the best. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. It's hard to believe how they manage to provide such high-quality service at such an affordable price. I even extended my stay for an extra night. Today, as I was preparing to leave, I opened a small box on the desk in my room and was genuinely surprised to find a sewing kit, pencils, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, and a stapler inside! This incredible attention to detail is evident in many other aspects of their service, which is truly heartwarming. Zhangye is also a lovely city with abundant tourist attractions nearby; staying at this hotel makes a trip to Zhangye absolutely worthwhile.
I do have one small suggestion (purely a personal preference and not a criticism of the hotel): I dislike being disturbed. For things like fruit or milk deliveries, it would be great if the hotel could ask guests upon check-in if they want these amenities. If not, then there's no need to send them. I specifically told the front desk not to send anything when I checked in, but I still had my door knocked a few times, which was a little annoying. However, this minor issue doesn't detract from my overwhelmingly positive impression of this hotel. I will definitely recommend it to my friends."

Breakfast is enough, not very rich, breakfast is starting at 7:30, not very friendly to people who have to catch the trip early in the morning.

"Perhaps because I stayed for four consecutive nights, I was upgraded directly to an executive twin room upon check-in. It was on a very high floor and, as per my request, didn't face the main street, but I could still see Zhangye West Station from there. It's incredibly close to the West Station. Every day, they provided snacks, two oranges, and yogurt, though the yogurt's expiration date was a bit close. Breakfast is on the first floor, and the hot dishes were different every day during my stay. They also had specialty beef noodles and 'beef small rice' (牛肉小饭), so there was no need to go elsewhere for those. The lobby also offered complimentary packed hot coffee and snacks every morning. Finally, at check-out, they provided a complimentary car service to Zhangye West Station, and everyone's service attitude was superb.
The minor drawbacks were: the soundproofing in the room was a bit poor; I could clearly hear next door when they moved things or chairs; and the hair in the bathroom wasn't cleaned daily.
Otherwise, everything else was excellent."

Cleanliness: Very clean, no issues at all.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the Rainbow Mountains Geopark, and its location is easy to find. The front desk staff were very welcoming; they turned on the heating for us before we arrived because it was cold, and even gave us some local specialty snacks before we left. The room had smart home features, was very clean, and quite spacious. The hotel itself felt new, and its facilities were comprehensive.

GGuest UserDissatisfied. First, the room was poorly soundproofed. I could hear my neighbors opening and closing doors and talking, and I didn't get a good night's sleep. Soundproofing is a minimum requirement. Second, the breakfast was limited in variety. The juice was hot, but the toast didn't have butter. The restaurant was small, and we happened to run into a tour group of elderly people, which was a poor experience. Third, the room was actually small, the hallway was narrow, and the bathroom wasn't separate; the door faced the bed directly, which was a design issue. The service was acceptable, and a souvenir was given upon check-out. Objectively speaking, it's a far cry from the Four Points by Sheraton Dunhuang and the Novotel Jiayuguan I stayed at the previous two nights. After all, it's a hotel of this level and price.

MM350182****Although the weather wasn't great, with mist and rain obscuring the view of the snow-capped Qilian Mountains, only a glimpse of the snow could be seen, disappointing the owner's good intentions. However, the owner, for the sake of the guests' interests and the scenic area's interests, insisted on taking the guests birdwatching early in the morning. Your dedication is evident even in the snow-capped mountains, and the hotel truly deserves the inscription by former Vice Premier Zou Jiahua. Linsong Xiegu, being a secluded and tranquil place, cannot compare to the facilities of a bustling city. The hot water tub only allows for half an hour of showering at a time, but the owner has done everything within their power to create a clean and comfortable resting environment for the guests. The female owner communicated smoothly with each guest, and the male owner's photographic works in the corridor were excellent. I particularly liked the motion-sensor light background wall in the stairwell—it was both beautiful and practical. The hotel restaurant, located in the town, offered delicious food at reasonable prices with appropriate portions. The restaurant also had a heater, so there was no fear of catching a cold in the mountains.

GGuest UserThis hotel offered the best value for money on my entire trip. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean. She even recommended some fantastic local dishes like 'Chao Bola' and 'Saozi Mian' in Zhangye. The nearby Ming and Qing Street was bustling, and we also visited attractions like Mati Temple and Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park. We had a great time and a very comfortable stay – highly satisfied!

FFoodadventureJust completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.

To be improved: the TV will not be watched, I don't know how to adjust. The wifi in my room cannot be used (408), and it can be connected to other rooms.
