"On my way home, I decided to stay at this hotel again. I've stayed here in previous years, so it's familiar and reliable, reducing the chances of a bad experience. It's pretty average: 1. The breakfast, perhaps due to fewer guests, had a reduced variety and quality compared to my last stay. 2. There's a small children's play area (a simple slide) next to the lobby front desk. My child excitedly put down their luggage and rushed downstairs to play (it was already past 9 PM). After playing for just a minute or two, they were told by staff that it couldn't be used due to some government fire safety inspection, as it would obstruct the fire doors. Here's a suggestion: It would be better to put up a sign in advance next time, or simply dismantle it completely until the inspection is over. Otherwise, isn't it ridiculous to go through the motions of an inspection, claiming strict adherence to standards, when the play area is still there? Firstly, it was already 9:30 PM, and secondly, the issue was that the items themselves affected the opening and closing of the fire doors, not that someone playing in the area was the problem. Please get your logic straight."

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Although it's not a big hotel, the room was spacious, very clean and tidy, and the king-size bed was extremely comfortable – we slept very well! Ms. Cai at the front desk was very attentive and helpful, answering any questions we had. She even upgraded us to a deluxe king room – thank you! 😊 There are many delicious restaurants nearby, especially the braised goose, stewed pigeon soup, and dim sum – all very tasty. There are also convenience stores and pharmacies, which is very convenient. The location is also close to the old street, about a 10-15 minute walk, or a taxi ride for only 10-20 yuan. Overall, this was a very good experience, and I will definitely stay here again next time!"

"Choosing this five-star hotel for my May Day holiday was a delightful surprise! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and efficient, and they even upgraded us to a suite for free. The room was well-maintained and felt very new, and the hotel had excellent facilities. The sea view was beautiful, and the breakfast buffet offered a fresh and wide variety of food. Plus, the Golden Beach bathing area was right downstairs. The festive atmosphere was wonderful. It was definitely a worthwhile trip!"

"Extremely satisfied! The room was clean and tidy, with no smoke smell, and we even got a room upgrade. The breakfast buffet was very rich and delicious. Highly recommended! "It was alright. This was the cheapest hotel we booked for the entire trip, but it had everything we needed. The laundry room could use some improvement, though. It's only a few minutes' taxi ride to Jinshawan, and there's a Wanda Plaza right downstairs, which makes finding food quite convenient."

"The hotel is super convenient in the old town, close to everything, with many great restaurants within walking distance. I slept really well at night; it was quiet, and the room was very clean. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had excellent water pressure – very refreshing. The in-room button controls were very advanced, much better than other hotels where the panel lights stay on and disturb sleep. The hotel offers laundry service; just a call to the front desk and a staff member from your floor will pick up your clothes, wash them until they're fragrant, and bring them back to your room. Parking is available in roadside spots very close by and convenient. The breakfast quality was also good, and the timing was perfect from 7 AM to 10 AM, allowing for a lie-in. The only, and I mean only, drawback is that, perhaps in pursuit of high water pressure, you can hear everything clearly from adjacent rooms when they use water, especially the sink. You can even feel the walls vibrating. I stayed for two nights, and luckily, my neighbors slept early and woke late, so there wasn't much disturbance after 9 PM. However, if you happen to have neighbors who sleep late and wake early, it could be quite uncomfortable. Oh, and the two young ladies at the front desk were both very warm and excellent!"

"The price/performance ratio is very high. There is a 4-person LOFT duplex on the upper and lower floors, with a 1.8-meter-sized bed on each upper and lower floor. The price is only 200+, and the location is absolutely great! ! Across the road is Jinshawan Beach, the Cosmopolitan Buildings, and the downstairs are full of places to eat, play, and shop. Regarding the fact that there are no windows, I spent the day at the beach, playing outside, and came back to check in at night. As far as I am concerned, whether there are windows or not, the impact here is not big. I went directly to the beach to see the sea view. If there are many people coming to play, this hotel will be my first choice. The disadvantage of the room is that the stairs are too high, making it inconvenient to go up and down, especially for the elderly."

I very much liked my stay here, the room was clean and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had everything I needed, and the hotel location was good as it was near Dingsheng Plaza and also along a north-south main road that many major routes in the city travel on. The front desk staff spoke no English, and I only speak very basic Mandarin, but they were able to still fully assist me and help me check in and check out, especially Yun Zhan (云湛), who explained everything with hand gestures and simple words and demonstrated how to do some things too. Thank you very much! This was the first time I stayed at an Atour hotel but I was impressed and would definitely stay here or at another Atour hotel again. There was also free laundry but I did not know how to use it and it was outside the room and down a busy elevator so I never tried it in the end. :D There are very few negatives and most of them are not fixable. One is that I did not like that the toilet was in another room from the bathroom, as I use all of them together and so I had to go back and forth between the two rooms a lot. A second that can be negative for some people is that there was a lot of honking from vehicles, 24 hours a day. However, I actually liked this because the sound was muted, so there was a ”far away busy city” vibe that made me happy. Lastly, the free night time porridge was very watery and not nice at all when I tried it.

I recently stayed at the Berman Hotel (Zhanjiang Dingsheng Plaza, Seaside Park) while visiting Zhanjiang, and it exceeded all my expectations! This trip with kids was truly heartwarming! We arrived late, exhausted, and worried about our children getting enough rest. Unexpectedly, the front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful. Seeing I was traveling with my child, they proactively upgraded us to a family twin room! The room was incredibly playful, with colorful cartoon-themed decor and a small tent and toys for the kids. The kids were thrilled the moment they walked in, completely forgetting their travel fatigue and having a blast. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and there were even slippers specifically for the kids—so many thoughtful details. From this stay, I could tell you the hotel's exceptional service and thoughtful consideration for every guest. Not only did they alleviate our worries, but they also gave our children an unexpected treat. I highly recommend this hotel to parents traveling with kids—it's a surefire choice! I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip!

Facilities: None. You have to wait for a table to have morning tea in the morning. We waited for half an hour for more than 20 tables. The food was served very slowly and we waited for an hour. Environment: The main entrance is the door of the restaurant. It is reported that the hotel front desk has no location. It has to be walked for a while, which is inconvenient. Service: average Hygiene: Not good. There are many stains on the table and no one has wiped them. The sheets are not very clean. There is a strong smell in the bathroom. The bedside table and wardrobe smell of urine. I don’t know if I encountered unqualified guests. It’s terrible. Others: Breakfast is only available until 9:30, and basically all room types require breakfast. It’s too early to get up, and it’s noisy at night so I can’t sleep well. And because of the lack of breakfast, I have to go and have tea by myself.

A really great experience. The hotel is very close to Chikan Old Street, and right next to a large shopping mall. It's clean, tidy, comfortable, and convenient. The hot water is excellent. It's not far from the high-speed rail station, and transportation is smooth.

LOCATION The immediate neighborhood isn't the most interesting, but it's very convenient if you're passing through Zhanjiang Station. It's a 10-minute walk. There are more restaurants and shops near/around the station. SERVICE Excellent welcome and excellent customer service. They made it easy for me to print an important travel document. ENVIRONMENT Quiet neighborhood. Very well-maintained hotel for a budget hotel. Quality furnishings. Due to its layout, the (small) room 501 was actually spacious enough for one person, clean, quiet, and bright. I would suggest adding a luggage rack, considering the available space, to make it perfect for avoiding having to keep luggage on the floor (especially when you have backpacks). BREAKFAST No breakfast service. AMENITIES *The room had a hairdryer and an electric kettle. Bottled water was provided. Very good quality bedding. Good air conditioning. Wi-Fi: didn't work, but that might be due to the VPN I'm required to use as a foreigner. Laundry room - well-maintained. 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. Detergent provided. Excellent value for money.

This is the most cost-effective hotel I have ever stayed in, but everyone treats it as a ”hotel”, after all, the price is really cheap. As soon as I entered the room, I felt well maintained, but some corners and more hidden positions had more dust (pictured). The room is not very big, but it is enough, the bathroom and bathroom are surprisingly wide, and the rain shower is very comfortable. The only bad thing is that there is no chair in the room, only a high stool. 2 people buy some takeaway back to the room to eat, one person has to be fined, or eat at the corner of the bed. If you change to 2 chairs (with backrest), it will be more comfortable. The location is the biggest advantage, not far from the pedestrian street, the old street and the main attractions, there are many places to eat

The weather is very hot and the service is very warm. Check in at the hotel, there is frozen mineral water in the lobby, free of charge. It will also remind the underground parking lot, free parking, remember to get a parking ticket when you leave the store. The room is arranged on the 9th floor, close to the inner community, relatively quiet, and the ambient air is not bad. I will choose to live here next time I pass by.
