My room is sea view suite 1316 with club accessed pass where you can enjoy free dinner and drink 18.00-20.00 and I stayed here for 5 days for work.
The location is great just next to the beach and there is shopping mall where you can find something to eat and it takes only 7 mins by walk.
The room is very spacious and provide everything you need during your stay, fridge, big bathtub with sea view, robes, comb, dryer, salt bath, mouthwash, etc
Breakfast is also a competitive advantage as it offers a variety of choice (most of them are Chinese food) since early morning until 10.30.
Staff is very helpful and the front desk can speak English.
The lobby is always crowded and busy because there’s seminar / wedding event hosted here almost everyday.
Facilities of the hotel are great especially gyms and children’s room.
The only negative side is cleanliness. My shower room still got some hairfall on the ground after cleaning but the overall is ok.
I would recommend this hotel and will visit them again."

"On my first day of a business trip in Zhanjiang, I stayed at an old local hotel, and honestly, the hygiene was quite questionable. So, on the second day, I quickly switched to Hampton. The hotel met the consistent standards of a chain hotel: a clean lobby, thoughtful service, comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast. The front desk staff were all very warm and even offered hot tea when the weather turned cold. The room's floor-to-ceiling windows were amazing for watching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Big brand chain hotels are definitely more reliable! I'll stay here again next time I visit Zhanjiang."

"This hotel in the Wanda commercial area is fantastic! The central location makes getting around super convenient. Plus, there's a self-service laundry room on the 42nd floor, which is a great bonus! Even though it's on the 42nd floor, the water pressure isn't affected at all. It was so nice to come back after New Year's Eve and take a hot shower. The bed is really soft too. And let me tell you about the projector and sound system – this is the first time I've stayed in a true 'home theater' king room! The projector is incredibly high-definition, and the sound system is surround sound. They even have movie VIP access! I'll definitely be back!"

If you do visit LN garden hotel do try to have a panoramic sea view room. This room was the icing on the cake, on the 29th floor the views were amazing.

The location is simply a must-see, just in Building 1, No. 60, Guangzhou Bay Avenue, Chikan District, the Jinshawan Beach is just outside the door, and the sea is opposite. At night, you can take a walk on the sea view promenade and enjoy the beautiful seaside night view. It is very pleasant. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the service was not to be said. You must give a big praise 👍. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful. In short, this time I stayed at Zhanjiang Jinshawan Atour Hotel with full marks. I highly recommend it to everyone. I will choose here when I come to Zhanjiang in the future."

"Location was good as it was the closest hotel to where our relatives lived. Close to a Walmart and a mall, plus at night there seems to be a market that pops up. If you go towards the river, there will be fruit vendors at night too. If you are wondering if their 1.3 m twin beds can fit a couple, it’s really (really) pushing it so maybe book a room with larger beds if that is a concern.
Also, while they have a self serve laundry room, it’s only open until 10 PM and they will lock it irregardless if you have clothes in the washer and then you will have to find a staff member to unlock the door and free your clothing so please pay heed. It’s also not open in the early morning until late and shares a space with the gym (so also locked during the time when people would want to be exercising) which is weird, but the staff justifies it as not bothering the people sleeping during that time. Perhaps they should invest in soundproofing during their next renovation because it’s super inconvenient."

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Berman Hotel (Zhanjiang Dingsheng Plaza, Seaside Park) while visiting Zhanjiang, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every interaction was friendly and made me feel truly valued as a guest.
The room was immaculately clean and comfortable and had all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I was impressed by how well-maintained everything was. After a long day of exploring the city, it was the perfect place to unwind.
One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic breakfast. There was a wide selection of delicious options, both local and international, catering to different tastes. It really gave me a great start to my day.
Overall, the Berman Hotel offers a delightful experience with its friendly atmosphere, top-notch service, and attention to detail. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berman Hotel (Zhanjiang Dingsheng Plaza, Seaside Park)—you won’t be disappointed!

GGuest UserThis hotel has multiple two-story guest buildings. They do provide free shuttle for traveling among these buildings. However, the buildings are aged. There is no security guard. You can easily enter any building even if you are not a guest. The room where we stayed, there was always some bad toilet smell. They did offer me to switch to a different room but I decided to stay there (too much work to pack all the stuff).
There are not many options for breakfast. All the staff look like robots. They don't smile at all. It feels like they want you to quickly finish the meal and get out of there. In general, this hotel is not professional enough for charging this much. Hope they can improve.

HHanlinsiThe room has a unique style, a large bathtub, two sinks, a smart toilet, and a shower. Bathrobes, towels, and all necessary amenities are provided. The TV is large, the bed is very comfortable, and you can enjoy a 270-degree sea view from the window. I'll definitely come back next time.

MM38703****Overall, I am very satisfied. It is very close to the beach. The beach is right opposite the hotel. There are many places to eat nearby. It is very convenient. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and answer all questions. A little suggestion, more and more people are using new energy vehicles now. Would it be more convenient for residents if some charging piles could be installed near the hotel?

The hotel itself was very clean, with attention to detail in every aspects of the design and finishing. In general I would say it has a much higher quality standards than most multi chain contemporary style hotels I have stayed it throughout China.
The hotel offered a complimentary tea and mid night snack with the booking which was very decent as a light snack and the breakfast had a good selection of foods to choose from.
The location itself is very good for the beach as only minutes away. Only downside is the limited selection of eating venues local to the hotel.

GGuest UserThis is the best accommodation at the southernmost tip of mainland China. I stayed in Fangpo Village the day before, and the environment was not as beautiful as here. It is only 300 meters away from the lighthouse.
The facilities are very new, the smart devices are well received, and the bathroom supplies and bedding are very good. There is no TV in the room, but the sleep was quiet and comfortable. The food is also good and drinks are provided. The housekeeper worked very hard to prepare our dinner, thank you very much.
A small suggestion would be to have a cup of coffee in the room. Also, there are flies in the room in this season. I wonder if there is any way to improve it.

20250207-08 Struggling to find reception, as on 2nd floor in building of shopping centre. They do not understand! Just keep saying don't understand: ”wǒ tīng bù dǒng”. Not helpful at all! Just keep on typing on translator and not in WeChat.
Very difficult to know where to park in parking garage beneath the shopping centre building. After driving around, found a sign to hotel, but not at entrance to parking garage.
Morning staff as unfriendly as evening staff. Just shouting at me! I kept on saying ”Weixin”. Lateron she registered...
The trip.com awards were for 2020 and 2022 - definitely not for reception staff in 2025! 😰
