"The location is fantastic! It's a 5-minute walk to the subway, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The front desk staff are always ready to help with anything you need. The only downside is the noise from passing trains, which might be a slight issue for light sleepers. Otherwise, it's almost the perfect choice."

"Facilities: The shower design is truly something else. When I walked in, I noticed the wooden floor was already warped. Sure enough, after a shower, water flooded everywhere. Everything overflowed. It would have been a disaster if I had left my luggage nearby. Also, previous reviews mentioned the hotel provided slippers and disposable toothbrushes. We stayed in February 2026 and only found slippers. We asked the front desk, and they said toothbrushes weren't provided. However, on our third day, they suddenly left disposable toothbrushes for us, so I'm a bit confused about whether they actually offer them or not.
On a positive note, the hotel offers two free bottles of mineral water daily, which is a rare and welcome perk in European hotels.
Location: The hotel is very close to Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, both within walking distance. Sagrada Família isn't far either. While the hotel's proximity to the metro is convenient, we often felt vibrations, which was a minor inconvenience.
Our room didn't have any pillars, but it was street-facing, and you could see into the room from the street at night.
Housekeeping efficiency was a bit inconsistent; we requested cleaning before heading to Casa Milà in the morning, but by 3 PM, our room still hadn't been cleaned. The next day, it seemed back to normal.
Overall, though, the experience was quite good. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, and there's a parking garage nearby."

"Pros: Great location with lots of food and grocery options. Public transport is convenient, making it easy to reach BCN airport. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, microwave, toaster, and fridge.
Cons: Street-facing rooms can be noisy, but quieter rooms are available. Room facilities are basic—sink isn’t separated from the bedroom, no clothes rack in the bathroom, and no hotel-style lounge area.

"The room was a bit small, but perfectly fine for one person. I booked last minute, so the price was a little high. The hotel offers breakfast and the decor is decent. They only provide toilet paper and towels.
The hotel's location is about 2-3 kilometers from Plaça de Catalunya, a 30-40 minute walk. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel where you can catch a bus to Arc de Triomf metro station to take the train to Tossa and other places.
Overall, the location is just okay, not bad though."

"This time I stayed on the 2nd floor, which is the same location as the 5th floor last time. It is as clean as ever. There is a subway station at the door. It is very close to the city center. You can drive or take public transportation. Parking spaces are relatively difficult to find. There is a bakery nearby that I especially recommend for breakfast."

"This hotel's location and breakfast are better than other places I've stayed at in the same price range. However, the air conditioning and ventilation weren't great, and there was a strange smell. On the other hand, the front desk service was excellent; the staff were polite, enthusiastic, and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, including Chinese and Italian options, as well as fast food like McDonald's and Starbucks. Shopping is also very convenient. It's only a 3-minute walk to the University Station metro. Aside from the AC issue in the room, everything else was quite good."

"We have not received our deposit back. We checked in late at night after several flights, and the process was quite slow and exhausting. At check-in, we paid an additional €110, which included breakfast for two people and a deposit.
However, the deposit has still not been returned. Moreover, the hotel now claims that the payment was only for breakfast, and they have informed us via email that they will not refund the deposit. This contradicts what we were told at reception, where we were assured that the deposit would be returned shortly after check-out.
We did not expect such an issue from a hotel of this standard. Unfortunately, as this was the first stop of our journey, it left us with a rather negative impression.
The hotel is quite remote. We were told the view would be of the city, but in reality it was of the highway. The pool was closed.
The breakfast was good, but it ended up costing us 110 euros (if the don't return a deposit)—which is too expensive."

DDasinveciThe hotel's location is excellent, not far from Casa Milà and Casa Batlló. The front desk staff were very welcoming. When checking in, they needed to collect some personal information, and the city tax was paid upon check-out. The mini-bar in the room is chargeable, but on the first day, we received a complimentary bottle of water and some chocolates. The room overall was very clean with good facilities. Breakfast was also quite good. Barcelona isn't very large, so it's quite convenient to get around everywhere.

We arrived late on our first day and didn't have time to buy water, so the hotel gave us a bottle, which was very nice! We booked a standard double room, but it had a small balcony overlooking the pool and outdoor restaurant. The view was lovely.
The security was also very good; nothing was lost during our several nights. We also noticed that the automatic door at the entrance was manually controlled by the front desk, so unauthorized people wouldn't be able to get in.

ZZiYinTANThe reception staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, which made our stay feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. We also truly loved the rooms—they were beautiful, well-maintained, and added a lot to the overall experience. The team was generally very helpful and attentive throughout our stay.
However, there was one small disappointment. I had requested a birthday arrangement for my husband on three separate occasions, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response. I completely understand that such requests are not always guaranteed, but it would have been appreciated to at least receive a reply or update.
Overall, we had a lovely stay, and with a bit more communication on special requests, the experience could have been perfect.

GGuest UserI really like the location of the hotel, exactly at the main station in Barcelona, so it's easier to go to the regional trains, and also the metro. So even if you're not at the center like L'Eixemple, you're just one step away from the metro and busses that take you there. If you're not a first timer in Barcelona and you want to see the nearby regions, this is the perfect hotel as you can easily access the train station for a day trip out of the city.
There is a lot of construction happening in the station, but luckily I have a room that did not have the construction view, instead, I got the nice city view room. But not too worry, you can't even hear the sound from the outside.
Facilities, amenities, & hotel staff were all amazing and nice. One to highlight as well is the pillows, so comfortable, they even have the description of each pillows, a very nice touch.

GGuest UserI stayed here for three nights and was quite disappointed with the experience. First of all, there was no kettle and no complimentary drinking water provided. The water bottles inside the fridge looked like they were free, but it turned out they were charged separately—something we only discovered at checkout, which felt very misleading.
On the second day, the sink became clogged, and later that evening we even had electrical issues in the room. And also no fresh towels were provided through this day.
Even the cheap instant coffee from the in-room coffee machine wasn’t complimentary—you have to pay extra for that too.
Finally, be aware that the sauna is not located inside the hotel itself. You actually need to cross the street to access it, which was quite inconvenient.
Overall, the facilities and service didn’t meet expectations, especially for the price. I would not recommend this hotel unless they improve transparency and basic guest comfort.

Summary:
We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed.
Room:
Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests.
Cleanliness:
The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable.
Service:
The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Location:
The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient.
Facilities:
The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city.
Food and Drink:
We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out.
Value for Money:
The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities.
Tips/Recommendations:
This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer.
We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

GGuest UserIt was a very clean accommodation and plenty of towels were provided.
It was a little inconvenient because laundry was done in a shared facility on the 5th floor, and I was a little disappointed that they assigned me a room with a rear view without even asking how many rooms had a view of the Sagrada. There is a rest area and a pool on the rooftop, so it would be nice when the weather is nice. The location is far from major tourist attractions, so it's a bit inconvenient to take the subway every day, so if I had to do it again, I think I'd pick it near Plaza Catalunya.

GGuest UserThe room itself was really good: clean, comfortable and spacious. However, my first impression of the stay and the stuff of the hotel was suboptimal, which coloured the whole experience.
I arrived at the hotel at about 1 p.m. First thing that surprised me was the fact that there were actually 2 hotels and only one of them had a check-in desk, to find which I had to ask around. When I finally arrived at the reception, I was second in line as there were some people checking out. While I was waiting a family (parents and a child) came in, and then one more group of travellers arrived. When the receptionist was done with the people who were before me, I asked to be checked in. In response, I got told that she was going to check the family in first. She wasn’t apologetic or nice about, she told me this as if that was what always happened and not that people got served in the order of their arrival. I am sure the family really appreciated what she’d done and I wouldn’t have minded either if that action was followed with acknowledgement of this not being okay and an offer of some services to recover their reputation. Not only had I not got an apology or anything like that but also I was again bypassed for registration as the receptionist decided to invite 5 people who came in later on to check them out. At that point me and other people in the line were quite baffled by the behaviour and understood that there was nothing fair about this interaction.
After I was finally checked in and went back to the other side of the street for my hotel, the room pleasantly surprised me. It was clean and had all the necessary amenities. However, I was a bit confused at first by the thing you need to do to get electricity. I was told by a friend that the system of inserting the key card into a specific slot in order to get electricity is now the norm, but this month I’ve been to 5 different hotels and all of them had different systems and none of them were this particular one, so I personally would’ve appreciated a heads up or an informative poster on the door. The only downside of the room that I found was that that side of the street was quite loud. It was much better with the windows closed, however, if you are a light sleeper, I recommend taking ear plugs.
The rest of the stay went pretty okay for me, but that first experience unfortunately is something I’ll never forget.
If you are travelling as a family, I would imagine this hotel would prioritise you over other guests any time, so maybe that’s just who they cater to. As a solo traveler, however, this was not what I was expecting.

GGuest UserRecently stayed at this hotel and i can gladly say i have loved it and it is a very aesthetically pleasing hotel. Staff are very nice and welcoming. Location is not city centre but it is about 15-20 min out depending on where you go, i used uber to go everywhere and this cost about 10€ - 20€. I was disappointed because two days before my trip i was made aware that i had to pay a 400€ deposit or a 800€ deposit which was also made unclear on their website. I wish they had made this more clear. To make this clear for everyone else , it is 100€ per night with a credit card and 200€ per night with debit card. At the end of the stay we still had to pay for a 40€ city tax. Considering we already payed alot for this hotel, having to pay a high amount of deposit is ridiculous.
They do have a spa, but not included with the hotel so you have to pay an extra 40€ which i also thought it was quite upsetting. Everything else was great and very nicely equipped with everything we needed.

Right from the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such warmth and that set the tone for my entire stay. Every single person I encountered was lovely. It’s also not as busy as the city centre and I felt safe walking around at night. The train station was literally steps from the hotel which massively helped. And to top it off, cleanliness was 10/10.
