"Good location and nice breakfast. Had luggage room to store luggage after we checked out which was very convenient.
The main problem was that air conditioner was not working. The lady in the front desk told us the air conditioners were not working in the whole building, so they could not do anything. I stayed on the 5 th of June, and it was 26 celsius degree. We felt very hot in the room, no fan, no air conditioner. That means no air flowing in the very small room. We woke up several times and sweating. My hair and my nighty were wet. Finally I got up to shower again. But we were still sweating, couldn’t sleep well the whole night. That was terrible for tourists if they could not have a good sleep. I thought the staff should tell the customer that the air conditioner was not working before check in. Let the customer choose if they still want to stay. We ended up our sweating after we went to the strong air conditioning restaurant to have our breakfast."

"Very good, very close to the Science City, the Science Museum is very interesting. There is also a very large Carrefour supermarket and a shopping center with many shops and restaurants nearby. There are Chinese restaurants, Western restaurants, kebabs, Japanese food, etc. next to the hotel. There are many free parking spaces with white lines around, but it is not easy to find a space. We parked the car in a large parking lot 10 minutes walk away, which is also free. The roads in Valencia are too difficult to drive. There are many traffic lights at the roundabouts. Be careful when driving by yourself."

"Location was 16 minutes walk from the train station and about the same walk to the old city, with lots to see in between. The hotel appears to be a local chain that does not as easily accommodate those who are not connected to it. This was my 6th and last stop on my trip to Europe, and it was the only place that did not include water. In fact, nothing in the minibar was included and that was not well marked in the room. Breakfast was quite good, but service was not as good."

"The location is not very central, closed to high speed train station, but it is not walkable distance and still need to take taxi, only 5 euros. The room is clean , spacious and comfortable. I booked double bed, but I got the room with two single bed that put together. The front desk promised to change room for us on second day. But finally we change mind because we don’t want to waste time. The safe box in the room was locked, so we can’t use it. I think they should to check it before customers check in."

"I must give a great review to Malcolm and Barrett Hotel! The front desk staff is enthusiastic and professional, and they quickly arranged the check-in, which instantly eliminated the fatigue of the long journey.
The room is spacious and bright, the decoration is simple and elegant, and the details show the quality. The bed is comfortable, the supplies are neat, and the facilities such as smart TV, high-speed network, and mini bar are all available to meet all kinds of needs.
The catering is even better, with rich breakfast, and Western food and local specialties are exquisite and delicious. The restaurant environment is elegant, the service is thoughtful, and the dining experience is excellent. The hotel is in a superior location, with convenient transportation around, and attractions and shopping malls are close at hand, making travel very convenient.
Malcolm and Barrett Hotel is impeccable. Whether it is business or vacation, it is an excellent choice. I am looking forward to staying there next time!"

"Very central hotel, next to the Colón market. It has a bus stop nearby. It's super clean. There was a guy at reception who helped us check in. They also let us store our bags for free until 2:30 p.m. The only drawback we found was that noise from the rooms was very audible. Everything else was great."

"Great location for very reasonable money... breakfast is not bad, the only downside is that it is very noisy at night, someone was constantly fighting and swearing under the windows... I stayed overnight before a half marathon that was important to me, in the morning they treated me to a banana and water for breakfast (nice)"

GGuest UserThe room was extremely small, with walkways less than one meter wide on all three sides of the king-size bed. I was woken twice by false fire alarms. There was no kettle, despite the pictures showing one. The bathroom was also very small, with a full shower. This is a newly renovated hotel with all the amenities, including a new water dispenser, refrigerator, and air conditioner. The bedding was very comfortable. The location is great, close to the subway and major shopping malls.

GGuest UserNice location with two shopping centres just next. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast included and have all you need. Outdoor swimming pool is great. You can hear some noise from the road at night unfortunately, need to improve the windows noise prevention.

MM9300****This is an older hotel. It seems they converted half a staircase into an elevator, which is tiny and can only fit two people. The room is also small, and the facilities are a bit dated, very retro. The bedside lamp is quite dangerous; you could easily hit it when sitting up in bed. The front desk staff, however, was very enthusiastic. I asked a lot of questions, and they answered them warmly, even pulling out a map to mark things. Breakfast was also decent. But the location is superb, right in the city center. It's only about 100-200 meters from the North Station for trains or the subway, which is very convenient.

WWanghuohuoCHWLWe took the bus to the hotel, which was quite convenient. There was a supermarket next to it which was also convenient for shopping, and there were restaurants all the way to the subway line 7. The hotel is not big, and the front desk service is friendly. I checked in directly after arriving early, so there should be available rooms. I met a total of 3 waiters and they communicated in English very smoothly. The room is clean and tidy, the bed is very comfortable and big, the pillows are uncomfortable 😔, and the air conditioner is very noisy when it starts up for a while. The TV was placed very high up, very close to the bed, and it was very uncomfortable to look up at it. The bathroom is also very spacious, even the shower head and toilet flushing are not too big. The hotel has a swimming pool. You can get towels at the front desk. You need a shower cap. The water is very cold. Two waves of foreigners ran away from the cold, haha. It is very clean and there is a sauna room (you need to make a reservation at the front desk before using it, it should be preheated). I bought a drink at the front desk for 2 euros a can, which is not too expensive in comparison. The refrigerator in the room is usable, but there is only one bottle of mineral water.
