"Location is good for getting around Brisbane cbd, but quite a bit of traffic noise at night. Bathroom had a smell that I think was coming from the drain. Apart from the noise and smell the apartment was great. The fitness facilities were excellent"

"The service is simply not too disgusting! I went to check in, and I had to charge a deposit of $100. I didn’t pay much attention. When I swiped the card, I found that they had swiped nearly $500. I asked if my room had been prepaid. Will retreat tomorrow! It doesn't matter so much, I just said very harshly, isn't this your problem? She said, yes yes, I'll give you a drink coupon! It's really funny. I don't want to say, she probably fooled it. Then there is no drinking water in the room. When I checked in, I didn't tell us to take the pot to the elevator. We thought that there was no water, so we took the drink voucher and went to the bar below to get a drink, but when we heard that you wanted to use the drink voucher, we said we were closed. We said that there was no water in the room, so we told us to fetch water by ourselves! What’s even more irritating is the breakfast, we ordered breakfast included, because it is a single breakfast, so a person can only order one drink and one breakfast! I added a few hundred yuan more, just two stuttering! If you want something else, you have to add money! An internet celebrity hotel is an internet celebrity hotel, and it's useless except to take photos of them! Really believe in evil and live here! The breakfast buffet at W is delicious!"

"Overall the Sofitel is a good business hotel. Conveniently located to Brisbane CBD and have all the basic things available. The hotel overall was nice and clean but the decor is bit dated including the bathroom. The bed was a bit average and seems bit old with the mattress not very flat so sleeping was not so pleasant."

"The location and environment are decent, but the service definitely needs improvement. We called the front desk five times, and two of our requests were completely forgotten. One was for car retrieval; we waited downstairs for over ten minutes only to find out the front desk hadn't notified the valet. During that time, no one even bothered to ask if we needed assistance. The second was a request for a comb in the evening, which never arrived even by the time we checked out. There were many staff members in the lobby, but everyone seemed quite apathetic. Perhaps because we are foreigners, they weren't interested in interacting with us. I'd advise anyone looking for a comfortable experience that Brisbane has plenty of better hotel options."

SShihualiThe hotel is relatively close to Brisbane Airport, with a good location. Downstairs is a restaurant and shopping center, which is very convenient. The parking fee is 35 Australian dollars. It is an apartment-style hotel, which is very convenient for family travel. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and complete kitchen facilities. There is also a balcony with leisure tables and chairs. If you have enough time, you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The room is also very clean. It is the first choice hotel for large groups of people.

GGuest UserMy Worst Experience at a W Hotel to Date I have stayed at various W properties, but my recent one-night stay at W Brisbane was easily my most disappointing experience with the brand. For a hotel that prides itself on design and luxury, the functional execution of the room was severely lacking. There were several significant issues that made for a very uncomfortable night: Poor Room Design: The air conditioning is positioned in a way that it blew directly onto my face all night. It was impossible to deflect, and I had to sleep on the other end of the bed. Then I had another issue below. Disruptive Noise: The in-room refrigerator was close the the bed and making distracting noises throughout the night that made it difficult to sleep. Between the mechanical noise and the poorly placed AC, I barely got any rest. Maintenance & Cleanliness: after I woke up in the morning, I was shocked to find a visible hole in the bed sheets. This is not the level of quality control one expects from a five-star establishment. And the bath tub has visible torn and wears. Also the motel level toothbrush. Service: there was no staff at the door helped me and my 70 yo mom with our luggages. I hvae to acknowledge that we arrived quite late but I did expect quality service from a lux hotel. And also no free upgrade offered like my stays with other W. Honestly, I am just glad my stay was only for one night. I expected much better from the W brand and won't be rushing back to this particular location.

GGuest UserI found this property via Kayak which then led me to Trip.com. After paying I found the property was in a different location to the map and didn't match the photos. The email confirmation had the right photos and that's when I realised something strange was going on. I didn't know I'd be sharing this tiny apartment with a stranger until I turned up. It's basically someone's apartment. The living room has a curtained off area where I think someone else sleeps. The pillow smelled as if someone had already used it. Room just had a broken pedestal fan. The room also doesn't lock so I didn't feel safe leaving anything valuable in there, let alone sleeping with a stranger right next door. Wifi also wasn't working. I left right away and found somewhere else to stay. Not worth the money at all, just a very strange situation. I travel a lot and won't ever be using Trip.com again either. Can't trust it.
