"The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite the botanical gardens, and just three streets away from the city center. However, the room decor is quite old-fashioned. The hot and cold water taps are separate, making it very tricky to adjust the water temperature in the shower. The toilet flush is on the wall behind you, so you have to reach back after standing up to press it. Dining at the restaurant was a nightmare. After placing our order, they said they needed to change the gas and it would take 20 minutes. About 10 minutes later, a strong smell of gas filled the air... They offered to deliver the food to our room but couldn't guarantee when it would arrive today."

"Romantic weekend spoiled by the toilet broken, called for help 8pm Friday night,  to be told we had to wait till the next day to be fixed. I said this was not good enough, no offer of changing rooms. The system would not fill up and were told to lift a section in the back every time we needed to flush.  Checked in at reception to what time the plumber would be here, to be told they don’t come out on weekends! They would send a staff member up to have a look in 10 mins. Waited 30min and called reception again. We needed to use the bathroom! Staff came for all of 4 min and left saying all fixed. When we went to flush and check,  it was still broken, no refill, called them back, 2 min fix this time, told it takes time to fill, and it only fill 1/2 way. Gave up, we needed to go out. We had plans! we put up with a broken toilet that when used,  had to take the lid off, lift something that allowed water in to flush. Number 2’s you had to do it twice. . Not good enough for the price"

"Pretty good location, accessible to local eats and transport. Good views. Can check in at around 10am which is pretty good too. Problem is it's hard to trust it is a clean place. As a visitor, you already have to empty the bins yourselves but still, the bins when we first got in the place wasn't actually clean."

"The room 5067 Studio apartment was disappointing. The bathroom smelt, but maintenance fixed it very quickly. Kitchen cupboards were shabby paint flaking off. The unit look tied and bathroom the tile grouting needs to be clean. It needs an upgrade."

"Evolution apartments are in a great location. We walked to Suncorp stadium and to QPAC. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. Great view of the river. Check in was easy and having on site parking was convenient. The only negative was the road noise when you sit on the balcony, but that isn’t an issue inside the apartment when the doors are closed."

"My Worst Experience at a W Hotel to Date I have stayed at various W properties, but my recent one-night stay at W Brisbane was easily my most disappointing experience with the brand. For a hotel that prides itself on design and luxury, the functional execution of the room was severely lacking. There were several significant issues that made for a very uncomfortable night: Poor Room Design: The air conditioning is positioned in a way that it blew directly onto my face all night. It was impossible to deflect, and I had to sleep on the other end of the bed. Then I had another issue below. Disruptive Noise: The in-room refrigerator was close the the bed and making distracting noises throughout the night that made it difficult to sleep. Between the mechanical noise and the poorly placed AC, I barely got any rest. Maintenance & Cleanliness: after I woke up in the morning, I was shocked to find a visible hole in the bed sheets. This is not the level of quality control one expects from a five-star establishment. And the bath tub has visible torn and wears. Also the motel level toothbrush. Service: there was no staff at the door helped me and my 70 yo mom with our luggages. I hvae to acknowledge that we arrived quite late but I did expect quality service from a lux hotel. And also no free upgrade offered like my stays with other W. Honestly, I am just glad my stay was only for one night. I expected much better from the W brand and won't be rushing back to this particular location."

"This hotel was average in pretty much every sense. It was ”fine” in that it had two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living room. The layout was not very functional, the toilet was pretty much in the middle of the bathroom, the power points were hidden behind the middle of the double bed there were three chairs for four people. Staff were helpful but the television didn't always connect and there wasn't enough dishwashing supplies, bin bags or toilet paper for our stay, which all involved trips to reception. The hotel location is a short walk to Queen Street mall and lots of, mostly Asian, restaurants."

Perched on a mountain amid 20 hectares of bushland and gardens, Mercure Clear Mountain offers a peaceful escape just 35 minutes from Brisbane CBD, with panoramic views of the Glasshouse Mountains and Moreton Bay. The hotel is undergoing renovations until end of July to become a 5-star Peppers property. Some minor disruption may occur; we appreciate your understanding.

"This restaurant is in the suburbs of Brisbane. It is very far from the city. It costs $100 to take a taxi. It is inconvenient to buy things. Even taking a taxi is very difficult. If you don’t like to see the scenery, it is recommended not to stay in this hotel "

Mantra on Mary has so much more to offer than location alone - our spacious one and three bedroom apartments are equipped with everything you need. Whether you feel like eating in or choosing one of the many dining options within walking distance, you can easily do either. The facilities are laid on at Mantra on Mary, including a heated outdoor lap pool, laze-away sun-deck, fully equipped gymnasium, sauna and alfresco BBQ recreational area

"The lobby smelt clean however our room and floor level smelt terribly of garbage. These are self serviced apartments so don’t expect to have your room cleaned daily! Or new clean towels or your bed made. A very aged hotel and the room had little natural light. For the price they really should be able to get a steam cleaner out and replace some things. Pile of dust & mould in the bedroom, fry pan unusable, bin was not empty on arrival, very old wool blankets on the bed which included a cigarette burn hole! The rooms are mostly clean however the carpet was grotty with several large stains. One-bedroom apartment with an extra small room is definitely useless. Car park fee $35 per night is costly. "

The service is simply not too disgusting! I went to check in, and I had to charge a deposit of $100. I didn’t pay much attention. When I swiped the card, I found that they had swiped nearly $500. I asked if my room had been prepaid. Will retreat tomorrow! It doesn't matter so much, I just said very harshly, isn't this your problem? She said, yes yes, I'll give you a drink coupon! It's really funny. I don't want to say, she probably fooled it. Then there is no drinking water in the room. When I checked in, I didn't tell us to take the pot to the elevator. We thought that there was no water, so we took the drink voucher and went to the bar below to get a drink, but when we heard that you wanted to use the drink voucher, we said we were closed. We said that there was no water in the room, so we told us to fetch water by ourselves! What’s even more irritating is the breakfast, we ordered breakfast included, because it is a single breakfast, so a person can only order one drink and one breakfast! I added a few hundred yuan more, just two stuttering! If you want something else, you have to add money! An internet celebrity hotel is an internet celebrity hotel, and it's useless except to take photos of them! Really believe in evil and live here! The breakfast buffet at W is delicious!

Pros: The location is excellent, with many great restaurants nearby and close proximity to the river. The breakfast was surprisingly good; even though there weren't many options, the chicken congee and fried dough sticks were delicious, especially the congee! Cons: It was strange that despite all the windows being sealed, the room was very dusty. The bedding had holes, and the overall cleanliness was a bit lacking. Most importantly, it gets down to about 12 degrees Celsius at night in Brisbane during winter, and the central air conditioning couldn't be set to heat. The hotel didn't provide any heaters either, which made it incredibly cold! Thankfully, the staff brought us extra blankets, but as soon as we got back to the room, we had to huddle under the covers. If you're sensitive to cold, you should seriously reconsider staying here.

The night view is absolutely stunning, you can see the entire Brisbane city skyline. The hotel itself doesn't offer Chinese-speaking staff, so if you don't have a basic grasp of English, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Since I was on a red-eye flight, don't even bother hoping for an early check-in.

The hotel is relatively close to Brisbane Airport, with a good location. Downstairs is a restaurant and shopping center, which is very convenient. The parking fee is 35 Australian dollars. It is an apartment-style hotel, which is very convenient for family travel. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and complete kitchen facilities. There is also a balcony with leisure tables and chairs. If you have enough time, you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The room is also very clean. It is the first choice hotel for large groups of people.
