"The location is fantastic, with a café on-site and plenty of attractions nearby. There's also a bus stop close by. The breakfast was lavish. However, for the sauna, the operating hours are short, and the temperature is a bit low. After a few people used the shower, the drain got clogged. I wouldn't recommend it if your main purpose is the sauna. While laundry service is available, it's quite expensive, so I opted for the self-service laundry near Rovaniemi Station instead."

"Our stay in the glass igloo was amazing! The accommodation was very clean, and it included all the necessary amenities. It even came with a kitchenette. We were fortunate to see the aurora borealis just outside our igloo on the night we arrived, and watching the sunrise from the igloo was simply magical. The meals at the resort were fantastic. I would highly recommend the Fox Arctic Glass Igloo Resorts for a memorable experience."

"Strategic location easily accessible to the nearest shopping mall & Santa Claus office in the city centre. Room wise is very clean with comfortable mattress, shower & everything (with hand bidet is definitely a plus point!) It comes with free access to sauna between 6 to 7pm daily for men as well. Receptionists are very friendly, humble & helpful. Able to meet up with guests from all over the world in the sharing kitchen & living area. Will definitely recommend to all my friends who visiting to Rovaniemi in future."

"The original room was in the attic. Even if there was no elevator, this room had an unspeakable strange and unpleasant ”home smell”. It was the smell of human sweat or dog urine, or the smell of cooking oil filled with the owner's cooking downstairs. The mattress was worn out and the bedside wallpaper was yellowed. The sheets are stained and there are obviously sticky hairs. Is the price of this place in Finland in the early 1000s too high, or the accommodation conditions are too bad? Later, after complaints Trip.com , the merchant changed another separate room for me for free. The accommodation conditions here are a lot. It can be said that the merchant's service attitude is good, but it is recommended that you choose to book the original room carefully. After all, you have experienced these complaints during the trip. , Dispute, Re-packing is a very annoying thing."

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center. There's a mall and a large supermarket directly across the street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The room is a bit small, but very neat and clean. I highly recommend having breakfast at the hotel; Scandic hotels always have an amazing and delicious breakfast spread!"

"The room is very luxurious, the house is unique in appearance, the room is of reasonable size and fully equipped with toothpaste and toothbrush. The hotel breakfast is very good, with a rich variety of freshly squeezed juices, and we also had lunch, which tasted very good. We experienced the exclusive elk sleigh ride for hotel guests, which was much better than going to Santa Claus Village. It may be under the airport take-off and landing route, sometimes it is a bit noisy when the plane passes by, and it is not quiet enough. The price-performance ratio feels average."

"This Nordic-style cabin was brand new and impeccably clean! The only minor issue was that the shower drain was a bit slow, causing some water to seep out from the glass partition, but it's a small detail that doesn't detract from an otherwise very satisfying stay. The large window on the first floor offered a stunning view, and the glass even had beautiful ice crystals on it. The hotel is just a three to five-minute walk from Santa Claus Village. An Uber from the airport cost only 10 euros, which was incredibly convenient! The breakfast was also delicious. While the selection was the same every day, the variety and taste were excellent. I would definitely choose this place again!"

"Right in Santa Claus village. If you come in the winter, it’s a good location and there will be many activities inside the village. But if you come here in other seasons like us, there will be boring and far from the downtown because lots of activities are stopped. You can take bus no.4 or Santa clause express to downtown at cost. Room with sauna is very good experience"

"Very good and homey hotel. Front Desk being very nice, giving useful advice in transport and travel information. They allow earlier check-in too if room already available! Be careful on toilet as the water may leak on ground, it is design problem nothing can be changed though. From city centre to hotel is a 7 mins walk (without luggage) (little upslope), which is already a very convenient choice in Rovaniemi In summary, is a highly recommended hotel for your stay in Rovaniemi!"

"Since it was a detached building, there were no special services! I knew that when I went, so there were no problems. There were also facilities where you can learn about the Northern Lights and Finnish nature, as well as a large supermarket, within walking distance, so there were no problems. I recommend this hotel for those who are just looking for a place to stay!"

Since the city is small and a popular tourist destination, I made a reservation several months in advance. If you hesitate, your desired room will be sold out quickly! - Located between the riverside and the city center, it's convenient for sightseeing and shopping. - Breakfast wasn't particularly promising, but it was delicious. - The sauna is available for family use in 30-minute increments if you reserve it at the front desk. Definitely try it!

I can only say that I must stay here next time. Friends who have cars, don’t hesitate. There is no need to spend a lot of money to live in the city. It’s a 10-minute drive. This hotel really surprised me. It’s quiet and the environment is so good. I didn’t expect it. For 100 yuan, you can live in a detached building with a sauna. It has parking for everything and is convenient. My only complaint is that the bedding is not as warm and thin as in the hotel. The thin layer is not enough for two people. It is a bit simple.

Fuss free stay and breakfast provided in the fridge was satisfactory. Amenities and overall interior are excellent. The cons may be that the lobby doesn’t have common toilet access and the check in time is quite late (though they did notify earlier check in after). I did not know my breakfast was provided in the fridge as it was not in the email confirmation or instructions.

Overall: Generally nice hotel with an excellent location in downtown Rovaniemi. Loved the bedding and the extra pillow for stacking. The room does come with air conditioning; however, it's not really noticeable. Luckily, there's a small, openable window section to let in cool air from outside. The room is as expected; however, the bathroom is really toooooo tight and small. Location-wise, perfect. A close walk (literally within minutes) to the main street, with lots of stores and restaurants.

In the mountains~ It is more convenient to drive by yourself! There are not many people, very quiet~ It takes about half an hour to drive from Santa Claus Village Drive into the woods of the hotel. There is a kind of lonely beauty!! It is also very mysterious... There are also deer in the hotel! It’s a pity that I didn’t see the northern lights this time

The place is absolutely beautiful, only few steps from Ounasvaara Ski Resort. The Chalet was really good and cosy with amazing views from the windows and balcony. Our private Chalet had a second bedroom which we didn’t use as my daughter and myself preferred the first floor. We loved having our own sauna in the bathroom, great addition to relax and we enjoyed it sooo much! Breakfast was excellent with great selection, we loved the waffle maker! Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Location is excellent, not far from the airport, city centre, and Santa Claus Village. Overall, perfect Chalet, we would definitely recommend staying here, we had a great time!

Santasport Hotel is an integrated resort with accommodation, trekking, skiing, bike riding, snowboarding and many other winter activities. They have track for all the activities and it was an enjoyable trip to explore the woods during winter. The hotel has a bowling alley, swimming pool and sauna. It also has a cafe Checking in and out was a breeze and the staff are friendly and helpful. They attend to all guests need and never fail to impress. Room size was reasonable and they also have a clothes drying cabinet. Bed is comfy and I had good sleeps. Breakfast was good with quality soread. Will return to Santasport Hotel if I come for my winter holiday in Rovaniemi.

I stayed at Apukka Resort and it was truly unforgettable. Everything was perfect, from the spotless cleanliness to the peaceful location near the airport. The service was exceptional; they even picked us up by car from the reception and drove us directly to our room, which made everything feel so warm and personal despite the -30°C weather. Sipping hot chocolate in the freezing Arctic air felt surreal, and our private sauna session was incredibly relaxing, the perfect way to end a snowy day. But the most magical moment? Watching the Northern Lights dance right in front of our room. So vivid, so clear, so unreal. It was honestly one of the best experiences of our lives. A dream I will never forget.

The Glass Igloo was great but you have to walk to the guesthouse for your showers. The breakfast was great and the restaurant provided good options for lunch and breakfast. For the adventurous, you can go to the nearby supermarket and cook your meal in the sheltered fireplace. Don't forget to experience either the traditional or the electrical sauna during your stay! Most importantly, participate in the guided activities with hot drinks and roasted sausages such as husky sled rides, aurora hunting, and ice skating.
