"I'm so disappointed with their service when it comes to cleanliness..I do understand how busy this time of the year, but they should be consistent with it comes to cleanliness.I always choose HOLIDAY IN EXPRESS because I have very good experience last year (NEW YEAR) in scotland branch and it was amazing experience..so I thought it would be the same here in HI Express Bath..We travelled as a family and my son 11y/o is Autistic, with ADHD and OCD as well as allergies...this kind of bed(sofa bed LINEN is unacceptable to whoever will stay there...we were told to wait until we occupied our room for this sofa bed to be ready, still we are not provided with bed sheets for this...really devastating,so sad and disappointing..."

The Bath Priory - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Bath will find that the Bath Priory - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 2km from Oldfield Park Station and 31km from Bristol Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the The Jane Austen Centre, The Roman Baths and Victoria Park Play Area all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Bath hotel provides parking on site. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"The environment is good and the room is big enough. But knowing that there are four of us, there are only three beds, which is a bit inconvenient. The service is not good. When eating, you can hear all kinds of noises from the waiters, which is annoying. The plates fell on the floor twice. If there were no local guests next to me, I would have been too sensitive to think that they were showing off to our family. It is a pity that the service of such a good hotel is not as good as the hotel."

The Best Western Limpley Stoke Hotel is a magnificent 18th Century country house. The hotel enjoys a tranquil village location, yet lies just a 10-minute drive away from Bath and its natural hot springs. With a truly romantic setting, the hotel is ideal for short breaks and long weekends, though thanks to this wonderful location you might be tempted to stay a few more nights. Peace and quiet are ever present at the Best Western Limpley Stoke Hotel. The superbly appointed lounges, open log fires and comfortable bedrooms all see to that, whilst many of these bedrooms boast outstanding view across the Avon Valley. Originally built in the 18th Century, this country mansion is as splendid as ever, with guests enjoying the serenity of a quiet location as well as the convenience of a hotel near Bath. Of course, as one of the countrys oldest cities dating back to Roman times, Bath is full of historic buildings and ruins, gardens and, of course, the Baths themselves. However, with such spectacular views from the hotel, the Best Western Limpley Stoke offers a host of its own sightseeing opportunities.

"The environment is comfortable and picturesque, reminiscent of an ancient castle. However, some rooms require stairs, which can be a bit inconvenient to carry luggage! The breakfast was delicious, but I recommend paying extra for it before visiting the attractions!"

The Lansdown Grove Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Lansdown Grove Hotel is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Bath. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Bath Spa Station located approximately 2km away and Bristol Airport roughly 32km away. Guests will find No. 1 Royal Crescent, The Jane Austen Centre and Pulteney Bridge just a short distance from the hotel. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling as a couple.

"We loved our stay at the Landsdown hotel for New Year’s Eve. Only a short (but steep downhill) walk to the town centre and the Royal crescent which suited us very well, and the parking was perfect (apparently this is one of few hotels to have parking in the town centre although we paid £15 per night, but was allowed to stay until 4pm the next day). Breakfast was included and was delicious, the staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they were super knowledgeable and helpful. The room itself had a nice view of the town, and had everything we needed. The only criticism was our window didn’t open but there was a fan supplied in the cupboard. Would definitely recommend and would come here again :)"

Steeped in history, Bath’s Henrietta House originates from the 1780s when a ‘new town’ area of Bath was built south of the river Avon. The architect of Henrietta House and the street was Thomas Baldwin who worked with Sir William Pulteney to divide up what had been river meadows.Today, Henrietta House offers a centrally located, tranquil setting with accommodation in 21 unique rooms.13;10;Bath was one of the most exclusive and glamorous cities in the entire world in the 1700s. Home to celebrated names such as Thomas Gainsborough (painter), Admiral Phillip (founder of Australia), and William Herschel (discoverer of Uranus), Bath was a spa town and retreat for the wealthy. A place where the upper echelons of British society could decamp from their country estates and London town-houses to meet, revel and make new connections over the summer months. The city was filled with the bustle of servants, the clatter of hooves and the chatter of the upper classes, gossiping over tea or duelling at the card table.13;10;Bath’s pre-eminence as ‘the place to be seen’ began to decline in the late 1700s. Whilst seaside resorts such as Brighton became the new fashionable hotspots for the privileged, Bath’s allure as a place of culture, healing and relaxation never disappeared entirely. Over two nights during the Second World War, Bath suffered heavy bombing, destroying much of the city close to the river. The scars of this trauma are evident in the entanglement of old and new buildings scattered across the city today.13;10;Bath is now as popular as ever. It is home to a large student population, drawn by the city’s two esteemed universities. Travellers flock to the city to admire the architecture and peruse the Roman Baths – the grandest amp; best preserved example in northern Europe. Meanwhile, the residents proudly inhabit a UNESCO world heritage city (courtesy of Bath’s Georgian architecture), and its streets are regularly employed as sets for film and TV, starring in films such as ‘The Duchess’, ‘Vanity Fair’ and ‘Sense and Sensibility’.

"Service was very good and the location of the hotel was very convenient. We were greeted by Rajeev who was really helpful and accommodative. He and his colleague went out of their way to assist us and made sure we were looked after. Would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Bath."

"We booked a coach house and stayed for one night. The room decoration is so nice and music was playing when you entered the room! There were snacks like candy, ice-cream, crisps and drinks provided at the little pantry just outside our room. Our kid was so excited about this. The reception lady who helped us to check in was very sincere and helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant was also superb! We are really happy about our stay here."

"The hotel logo is not clear, the appearance photos are inconsistent with the online ones, and it is difficult to find by car. The booked room is completely different from the one introduced on xc and the area is small. You have to send an email before you check in. If you don't check in at the specified time, it is very troublesome. Hotel location is not bad, about 16 minutes walk from the attraction. The interior decoration of the room is very English, the breakfast variety is very good, and it is delicious."

GGuest UserI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic! The host was so helpful and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!) Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too. Thank you very much!

CcheneddieVery good hotel, two or three miles away from the center of Bath. The bathroom of the hotel is very large, and the large stainless steel bathtub amazed me. The refrigerator and mini bar in the room provide a variety of free drinks and candies and biscuits, which is very considerate. The self-service bar in the public area is also very distinctive, and the decoration is also very beautiful. It is a very recommended hotel. The only thing that needs to be improved is that the room is quite large, enough to choose a wider bed. The bed width written on Ctrip is 1.8 meters, but it is actually only 1.5 meters, and the King size bed here is 1.5 meters. I guess Ctrip made a mistake.

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at The Bailbrook House Hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and all the food was excellent. We had a small issue at breakfast as were quite late coming in for it and some of the fruit had gone, however having said that the poached egg and avocado on sourdough I had was to die for, and was delicious, and the full english was very good too. All in all it was all very enjoyable stay and would definitely return, and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

ZZhanqianyingSmall luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question. The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival. Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it.

GGuest UserIt was a very special reunion for a group of nurses celebrating 50 years since we started our course in May 1975. In those days this hotel was a nurse's home and we all lived here for around 18 months. We had booked lunch, the food was lovely and the service was amazing. We so enjoyed our stay, 5 of us stayed for one or two nights. So beautiful and peaceful, couldn't have been better. Benice organised things for us, highly recommend her if you are booking an event.

MmomononoBath Abbey Hotel, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Property I booked this hotel in Bath through trip.com. I took advantage of two promotions on the platform: a £5.99 railcard purchase and £5 off train tickets, both requiring booking a European hotel within 26 days through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase. ❤️ Third-party Marriott members get perks, too! This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later. The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form. 🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. ❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

LLiam and JennyAttended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. GGuest UserPositives - excellent receptionist (Vipin) and without his help I would have probably checked out early. Has parking. Reasonable location and access into central Bath. Has an electric kettle and a pack of cookies. Not so positives - In desperate need of upgrade, creaking floors, wash basin outside the bathroom. It isn’t for work related travellers as you cannot even use an iron without tripping off the entire building main switch and once that happen there is no 24 hour active reception. No fan or iron provided in room so you have to ask. Tiny computer monitor used as a make shift TV that you have to pull out of a closet. No drinking water in room. Value for money not there as many better locations available at same or lower price.
