"All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas.
The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.
Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.
Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.
Hence the reason for a lower review score.
Aside from this I would recommend the hotel."

"I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much."

"Stayed Feb 2026 for 1 night. As most reviewers have already indicated, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Although we were assigned a room facing the Keleti station and the main road, it was surprisingly not too noisy. We could hear the occasional police siren but it did not disturb our sleep.
One downside - we checked out early and wanted to store our luggage; we were surprised that it was a paid service (by a private operator on the hotel’s premises). The cost is high: renting a ‘XL size’ locker for 4 hours cost 14 euros if I remember correctly"

"This was absolutely amazing experience. I’ve got a free room upgrade, it was incredible. The hotel room cleanliness was extraordinary, super clean and finally I had a great night sleep. "Booked a room with a view, and it was so worth it! First off, the location is fantastic, right next to Fisherman's Bastion. You can see both Fisherman's Bastion and the Parliament building right outside your window. The first rays of morning sun shine directly into the room, perfect for taking photos indoors or heading out downstairs to snap some pics before the crowds arrive. Breakfast was also excellent, with options like fried rice, congee, and soup, and the staff were very attentive and proactive. The only thing to note is that you'll need to take a taxi to get there, as it's built on a hill, just like Fisherman's Bastion."

"Regarding hygiene and facilities: The shower hose in the bathroom was leaking, and the water pressure was very low. After staying two nights, I decided it wasn't worth it.
Regarding noise: There were many students on the floor I was staying on. On the first night, they were banging on doors frantically and speaking an incomprehensible language. I reported it to the front desk due to safety concerns. Although there was still some knocking that night, and a strange siren went off on the third morning, I did see security on our floor on the second night, so safety wasn't a concern.
Future guests who prioritize safety can choose this hotel, but if you're a light sleeper, the noise truly makes it impossible to rest.
Ambiance: The environment is good, and the location is very convenient, but this also makes the hotel very noisy, and the windows were drafty."

EEmilylovesfoodEverything about the hotel was quite reasonable. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the ingredients were good quality and it tasted nice.
However, the service could be improved. We arrived around 7 AM to check-in and drop off our luggage. When we returned to the hotel at 2 PM, the front desk told us we'd have to wait until 3 PM. So, I told them we'd be sitting on the sofa nearby and to let us know when our room was ready. Between 2:30 PM and 3 PM, they continued to check in other guests. After 3 PM, since no one had informed me, I assumed the room wasn't ready. It wasn't until around 3:20 PM, when I went to the front desk to ask, that I discovered the room had been ready for a while, but they simply hadn't told me. The waiting area sofa was less than two meters directly in front of the front desk, and they had been aware of our presence the entire time but never notified us.

GGuest UserThe hostel has curtains for privacy, the bed is a good size with a convenient shelf next to it, and there's a locker available. I really appreciate that the bathroom isn't in the room. This is definitely one of the top hostels I've stayed at in Europe, and it's not expensive either. The location is excellent; it's about a ten-minute walk from the 100E airport express bus stop, and you can easily walk to the boat pier and the free market from here.

MmorennafUpon arrival at night, the hotel appeared abandoned due to the lack of lighting. We later learned there was a power outage; however, the receptionist was accommodating and helpful. She offered us drinks and snacks while we waited to check in. After some time, since the power had not yet returned, she kindly arranged a ground-floor room for us.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with basic amenities. Overall, it’s one of the better hotel options near Keleti Railway Station—just one bus stop away with a short walk.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Danube River in Buda. It's very close to major attractions like Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle, all within a 10-15 minute walk. In the evenings, strolling along the Danube is a must, as the scenery on both banks is absolutely beautiful. There's also a bus stop less than a 5-minute walk away, where you can buy single-use or multi-day travel passes, which is incredibly convenient for independent travelers.
The rooms, while not spacious, are clean and well-maintained. However, I wouldn't recommend booking a room with a balcony. The balconies are small, very close to neighboring ones, and lack any partitions, meaning zero privacy.
Breakfast was decent, and the Greek yogurt was particularly delicious. Plus, on the ground floor, fruit tea and hot water are available all day, which was a very convenient touch.

The room was huge. The bath was amazing always hot running water bathroom was a great size. Also a shower over the bath.
The bed was comfortable there was two pillows each not one which I love. The rooms were very hot. I had three windows in my room and I always kept one open even though it was very cold outside it was perfect.
My view was outstanding devastated to be home. I will miss that view of fisherman's bastain Lit beautifully the evening
Hotel was a five minute walk from the brige Walk over the bridge and straight into the city all in all a great time
Check out was fast easy we had drinks at the bar which were no different prices to drinks over the city. My partner has a breakfast. There was quite a lot of choice. Thanks for the stay. Will definitely return.:)

GGuest UserReading the reviews, overall I was expecting worse. The room was a little dated but clean, the bathroom ditto. Clean sheets and towels. On the other hand, the pillows offered are really uncomfortable, the mini bar is not working and the breakfast is very poor and without a sweet proposal: I went on for three days on bread, butter and jam. The staff were friendly enough and the location was excellent for getting to the center by public transport.
