Anantara New York Palace Budapest Hotel is situated on Erzsébet Körút boulevard. Conveniently close to the Madach Theatre, Hungarian State Opera House and the famed Chain Bridge. The Blaha Lujza underground station is a short walk away and Budapest Airport can be reached by car in 30 minutes. The building spans seven floors filled with 185 rooms, where tea and coffee facilities, large flat-screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi come as standard. A range of rooms and suites are available with sweeping views over the city. Guests can choose from the hotel’s two restaurants, the New York Café and the Salon Restaurant or a bar menu at the Nyugat Bar. The hotel’s spa and gym offer guests the chance to relax and rejuvenate away from the city.

"Our original booking for a family suite was unavailable, and the hotel insisted that the standard room they gave us was the correct room type. This was completely inconsistent with the pictures from my stay in 2024 and the room type displayed on Ctrip. It wasn't until I showed them photos from my previous stay that they admitted the room type was incorrect. After negotiating with their supervisor, we paid an additional 200 euros per day to upgrade to a larger suite. Aside from the convenient access to New York Café, everything else was really subpar. You can compare pictures one and two with the room type images on Ctrip – consider this a warning!"

The urban cool kid on the block, seated on the Buda banks of the Danube, Kimpton BEM takes residence in Budapest’s distinctively welcoming neighborhood. Nestled in the heart of history, our hotel is a stone's throw from the Castle District, creating a timeless journey through Budapest's regal past with threads of Hungarian history engulfed in lush grandeur. The city's legendary Turkish baths, a testament to centuries of leisure and luxury, are close by and not to be missed. The transformation of this long forgotten 19th-century building has been meticulously created by the renowned Marcel Wanders. Breathing a new life into this historical, grade 2 listed mansion. Embracing the locality, the charm and the history to create a destination that echoes a forgotten era. Striking and stylish, our design originates from the history of the capital, each space a canvas painting Hungary's vibrant soul. Our rooms offer a front-row seat to the city's ever-changing panorama, connecting people with the place, past with present, traditional with modern. Authentically crafted for the ultimate luxury lifestyle hideaway in this bustling capital.

"Beds are way too small. Other than that its a top 5 star hotel experience. However the hotel food is quite mid. Hungarian food is too salty in general. You can get the perfect full parliament building view right outside the hotel btw."

"We stayed at the Hilton Budapest in early July. We had booked a King Danube River Suite / Corner Suite (70 m²) for two nights, but at check-in, we were informed that the hotel had upgraded us to the Presidential Suite with Danube River View (160 m²)! This is the only room of its kind in the entire hotel! The Presidential Suite was absolutely incredible! The room also had a welcome gift from the hotel: a bottle of red wine and two handmade chocolates. We have often favored Hilton hotels for over 25 years, but upgrades have been rare. Hilton Budapest is quite large (322 rooms) and boasts a prime central location on the Buda side of Budapest, offering stunning views of the Danube River and other landmarks on the Pest side of the city. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly. The Executive Club Lounge offers a good selection of alcoholic beverages, along with a wide assortment of food and drinks. The food selection can vary, unfortunately, from excellent to quite lackluster. The service, however, is consistently top-notch. In summary: The hotel is centrally located, close to all major attractions. It offers excellent service and cleanliness, as well as fantastic bedding and mesmerizing views of the Danube and Parliament from the window! There are many great places to walk around the hotel, and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Our immense gratitude goes to the hotel management for the superb service, attention to detail, and the organization of flawless operations, cleanliness, and comfort. It's clear that the management genuinely cares about their guests and puts their heart into their work! Special thanks to the General Manager, Hajnalka Hegedüs, for her efforts and passion, which allow guests to enjoy such impeccable luxury service! This is a hotel we'd love to return to, where you always feel like a valued guest. Hilton Budapest definitely deserves all five stars it has; we can undoubtedly recommend it for a stay and for visiting the city of Budapest! Suggestion: Add background music to the Executive Lounge."

Verno House is an urban oasis where you can bond, breathe and bloom, a meeting point for travelers and locals alike allowing a deeper understanding of the city’s spirit. It evokes the idea, born in 19th century Budapest, that one can truly appreciate all the modern attributes of a city only if there is a nurturing, natural environment where one can escape from time to time. Verno is the perfect place to recharge before the next day’s explorations. Verno House offers an exquisite wellness space, thoughtfully designed to be an essential part of pampering your body and mind. Our Spa, located in the center of the always bubbly downtown, provides a haven in which to recharge, relax and renew, whether you have had a long day of walking around or are just starting out on your adventure.

"This was my first time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, just steps from the food street, with Chinese and Western restaurants nearby, including a Michelin-starred restaurant. Various attractions are also within walking distance. The hotel was newly renovated in 2022, and all the facilities are very good. The rooms are spacious, and the front desk staff are very warm and friendly—I would have given them full marks for service! However, on my last day at breakfast, I got burned by the food tongs. The tongs were extremely hot and placed on the food plate (I guess the tongs and food had just been taken out of the oven). This shouldn't happen in a five-star hotel."

First and foremost, the service is the best I've encountered in dozens of European countries. From the concierge to the front desk to room service, you truly feel honored and comfortable. The valet always leaves my car immaculately clean before handing it over to me, and even provides bottled water based on the number of people in the car before departure. Such thoughtful details. The hotel's location and amenities are also excellent. This is a hotel brand under the UAE Royal Group, and I highly recommend it!

The front desk staff were quite incompetent. Check-in took forever, and then my friend's room key didn't work. Another friend found a welcome card for someone else on their table upon entering their room. My room was a corner room, which they didn't even ask about, but they were very pushy about getting us to upgrade. We upgraded, and the service was still terrible. Then, at check-out, we thought it would be quick, but a young woman struggled for ages before calling over her colleague. We thought there might be an extra charge, but then she somehow pulled out someone else's room cards, claiming they didn't match ours. Couldn't she just ask us what our room number was? We gave her two room cards, and she somehow ended up with three! We were in a hurry to catch a flight and told them so, but she still fumbled around for ages. Plus, the kettle in the room was broken, and when we asked for a replacement, that one was also broken... It was an ordeal all afternoon; we couldn't even take an afternoon nap. I can only say the hotel is all show and no substance; the interior is rotten. Also, it seems like they sprayed a lot of disinfectant in the room when cleaning, and the windows don't open for ventilation...

Among the riverside hotels, this one looks a bit dated from the outside, but don't let that deter you. The rooms have been renovated in the past two years, the lobby is very spacious, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. The Danube river cruise pier is right downstairs, which is incredibly convenient. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy below the hotel, and unfortunately, the front desk couldn't do much about it when I called. The hotel isn't too far from the main attractions, and overall, my experience was quite good. I booked a room with river and castle views, and the hotel provided a great room. They even delivered Chinese tea to my room upon check-in, which shows their thoughtfulness towards guests. Photo one shows the river and Buda Castle view from my hotel room, and photo two is the Marriott Hotel as seen from the cruise ship.

The idea of staying in a castle monastery is appealing, especially if you prefer a quieter side of Budapest. The room was pleasant, but not overly luxurious. The breakfast was simple, and the music was too loud when I woke up. The location wasn’t convenient for me, and the monastery experience didn’t live up to my expectations. I stayed on the other side of Pest and had a much better time.

Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

It's decent. The front desk service was fine, though the hotel definitely isn't quite five-star. However, it's conveniently located and the breakfast was quite impressive. I'd recommend staying here. It's a good value-for-money option. The parking garage uses an elevator system, so be careful.

This hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's within easy walking distance to many of Budapest's famous attractions, such as the Parliament Building, Fisherman's Bastion, and Chain Bridge. This saved me a lot of travel time during my trip, allowing me to explore the charm of this beautiful city at a more relaxed pace.
