"Check-in was quite crowded, but the process was fast and handled efficiently by the polite and helpful staff, which created a welcoming start to the stay. Most of the patrons seemed to be business travelers, but the hotel is also comfortable for leisure stays. The rooms were clean and cozy, with thoughtful touches like a relaxing yukata. Parking is limited, and I had to use the underground car park opposite the hotel — it was convenient, but note that it is paid parking through the hotel.
Breakfast (¥2,200 per person) was a highlight, offering a wide variety of dishes including sashimi. The hotel also provided nice extras such as complimentary beer, masks for guests, and bathtub powder sachets for a relaxing soak.
The location is excellent — right next to Obihiro Station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. You can even walk to the famous confectionary Rokkatei shop, making it a great base for exploring Obihiro.

"This hotel's central location in Obihiro was perfect for enjoying the local nightlife. We traveled by rental car, and finding parking was hassle-free with multiple options available (600 yen/day). We opted for breakfast, which was outstanding in both taste and quality. While there's a sauna, it can get quite busy and a bit cramped. If you prefer a more private experience, showering in your room is perfectly adequate. The water quality is excellent. The staff were proficient in English, so communication was smooth and effortless."

"This is the worst Comfort Inn we have ever stayed in.

1. The quilt is the one used in cheap hotels. It has a thin sheet inside and a quilt outside. The two are separate. It is very uncomfortable to sleep on. As soon as you turn over, the two sheets will separate. You cannot sleep well all night, and it feels like a battle when you get up. Worst quilt ever.
2. The faucets are also of ancient style, with one hot and one cold tap on the left and right. The same goes for bathing. Before bathing, you have to practice to avoid getting burned.
3. The indoor slippers are actually recycled. The slippers I saw when I entered the room were so dirty and had hair on them. But they were still using them. It's really enough.
4. There is no smoking room, which is hard to find in Japan. There is no ashtray outdoors either, so what to do? Just throw your cigarettes on the ground! What kind of hotel is this?
Could you please reply to me and tell me how to improve these? I stayed in Kure last year and it was comfortable. I stayed in Nagoya in January this year and they were both very good. Why is your hotel so bad?"

"There are many positive reviews about the hot spring (however, it is heated and circulated, not natural spring) and the food, so there is nothing to add. One thing to keep in mind is that if you stay multiple nights, there is no cleaning on the second night. In fact, staff will not enter the room. Most people assume that after taking a bath in the morning, they will put their bath towels and yellow towels in the collection box near the dressing room, and towels for the second night are provided in a plastic bag hanging from the doorknob. Meanwhile, the trash can, bath mat, towels in the bathroom, and indoor clothing are left unattended. It may be energy-saving, but considering the trouble of having to tell the front desk that you can leave some things as they are but that you want them changed, it would be more efficient to put up a talisman saying ”please clean.” Also, the ”rest room” in the bathhouse seems to be a space for day-trip bathers only, and I felt an atmosphere that you should not enter."

This place doesn’t really have a lounge. A problem with sharing the ground floor lounge with a cafe is that when I’m sitting there a cafe waitress comes by expecting me to order something."

"It was conveniently located near both Obihiro Station and the bus terminal. The room was compact but had everything you need and was comfortable, and the breakfast, which includes a half-buffet and can be chosen from four different options, was excellent.
And the best thing was the quality of the free-flowing mall hot spring water in the basement. It was the best! It was also convenient that bath towels and towels were provided in the dressing room. There was also a massage machine and a YA-MAN hair dryer that could be used for free, which I felt was the hotel's thoughtfulness. I would like to stay here again when I go to Obihiro."

GGuest UserNewer hotel. Friendly service at front desk. Enjoyed the complimentary bar with mixed nuts, raisins n a spread of flavors for mixing with carbonated water or alcohol. It’s a pity it closes at 9pm. Parking is at building next to it. Fees are charged to the room with in and out privileges through front desk validation. My only issue is with the narrow access to the twin bed next to the window. We had a room with twin beds. Onsen is small as expected but modern decor. Felt safe that women onsen requires a special passcode to enter.

GGuest UserAlthough my check-in time had passed, the staff were very friendly and I was able to stay there with peace of mind. The hot spring in the large communal bath was comfortable, and there was also a sauna, so I was able to relieve my fatigue.
