"Hotel is very amazing. Location is great. Very near the Monorail and Family Mart. Our view from hotel room is very scenic. If driving, there's a multi-storey car park if Mercure car park is full to park. I managed to park 1 night in the car park of the hotel and was an enjoyable experience parking inside an auto-generated car park. All the staff including those at the Reception and car park are super helpful. We booked the medium range of rooms and are happy with it. Caught the sun-set from our room. Happy to see monorail passing-by. Will definitely be back to Mercure if I visit Okinawa again."

"The room is small but exquisitely designed. It's very convenient for shopping and transportation. The only downside is the view, which is pretty average with too many buildings outside the window. If you have trypophobia, you might want to reconsider. Overall, it's a good place."

"We stayed there for 4 nights and it was a very nice experience. The beds were comfy and they also gave us 3 pillows so we were able to make one of them a plushie. The shower room is always squeaky clean and the receptionist were so kind and friendly too. The breakfast is a little Japanese style so if you are used to American style, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you want to try Natto and Soba, don't bother going else, it's included in the hotel's breakfast menu. The location is very close to the airport and just 12 minutes away from the station, so the location is superb, not to mention if you rent a car, there are several parking lots in the area too."

"Pros: The lobby is on the third floor, and there's a smoking area on the first floor in the parking lot. On the third floor, there are free coffee machines, water dispensers, and an ice maker. Location: It's right at the exit of the Yui Rail Asato Station, which is very convenient. Cons: The room's interior is very outdated. As soon as I entered the room, there was a strong musty smell. In room 729, the shower head had very weak water pressure, and the water kept fluctuating between hot and cold during the shower, eventually turning cold. Wifi: The signal was extremely poor. Not only was the hotel's Wi-Fi signal terrible, but even my mobile phone signal in the room only showed two bars."

"First off, the hotel's location is excellent. It's right next to Asahibashi Station, and there's a direct walkway from the second floor to the monorail station. The hotel also has a pick-up/drop-off point on the ground floor, so taking a taxi is very convenient. It's less than a ten-minute walk to the start of Kokusai-dori, offering a quiet escape while still being close to the action. A taxi from the airport costs around 2000 yen, which is quite a good deal if you're traveling with a group. The hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety of local Okinawan dishes, such as Ryukyu ramen, sea grapes, and peanut butter pig's ears. You can pretty much try all the local specialties just by having breakfast there. Our family of four booked two rooms. My parents had breakfast at the hotel for all four days, while my sister and I only ate there once, opting for convenience store breakfasts on the other days (as a quick search on Tabelog showed no other breakfast options nearby). It's worth noting that the hotel provides each guest with a 500-yen dining voucher upon check-in, which can be used for breakfast (the full price is over 2600 yen). However, when we tried to get two more vouchers for subsequent breakfasts, they weren't provided. It seems to be a one-time offer per guest per stay, not per night. There are also many great restaurants near the hotel. Just around the corner downstairs is the popular Iseya Ago Pork restaurant, and the Yakiniku Honbu Ranch BBQ restaurant is within walking distance. It's about a 20-minute walk to the First Makishi Public Market, but you pass through Kokusai-dori along the way, so you can walk, browse, and eat, which makes it feel much closer. The hotel service is exceptional. After check-in, a staff member escorted us all the way to our room door by elevator. During daily cleaning, the staff are very careful with guests' belongings; anything not explicitly thrown in the trash is not discarded (even if it clearly looks like rubbish), which I really appreciate. The in-room amenities are already very comprehensive, even including hair ties. More amenities, like facial masks, body lotion, and mouthwash, are available at the front desk downstairs. The only slight inconvenience is that you need to take an elevator to the 14th floor and then transfer to another elevator to reach the guest rooms. Also, our city-view room on the eighth floor only offered views of the rooftops of adjacent buildings, with no actual scenery. If you prefer a better view, I'd recommend choosing a bay-view room."

"We booked a 27-square-meter twin room, and it was very comfortable for a family of three. There was still plenty of space to move around even after opening our large suitcases. Since we have a one-year-old baby, the hotel thoughtfully pushed the twin beds together and against the wall beforehand, which was very considerate. The hand soap and shampoo provided by the hotel were of good quality and pleasant to use. There were also many free disposable toiletries available for self-service in the lobby, which was very convenient. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day as long as we put the blue sign outside our door before 10 AM. The hotel's location is close to the tram station, and there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It was a pleasant and comfortable stay."

"We booked a sea-view room, and could sit on the balcony to enjoy the sunset and the fireworks show on Saturday night, which was great! 👍 It's very close to American Village, and the surrounding area is lively with restaurants and bars, so you can wander around at your leisure."

"Located very conveniently near Makishi Station, and at the west end of Kokusai Dori. Clean hotel with nice amenities. No gym though. Overall we were ok with the stay here. But two episodes eroded the satisfaction over service standards: 1) Booked 2 rooms for a total of 5 pax, through Trip.com via the same booking on the same day.. however upon arrival, only one room was given the daily welcome drink coupon (Orion beer) while the other was not. When asked, they said it was a change in policy and not all rooms are given the welcome drink. From the reviews, we were already expecting welcome drinks for all. The uneven treatment between rooms made it worse. I feel the service staff did not handle it well. May I suggest Trip.com work with the hotel to state explicitly which room types will / will not be offered this benefit, for clarity. 2) one of the service staff serving welcome drinks at the bar showed a black face when my family member made a request that was fulfilled the day before. The order was grudgingly fulfilled and the server just turned away after putting the drink on the table. That was unprofessional. Hope the hotel can work on their comms and service standards."

"The location of this hotel is excellent however... there were a few things I found concerning: There was no emergency exit information provided to us. If there was a fire and you asked me to find the stairs I would not have been able to. The window in our room was cloudy with some caked on dirt and mineralization (which you could feel on the inside). The shower worked kind of. There was one time it cut out in the middle of bathing and I had to put my head under the faucet to rinse my hair. The free sake bar is not what you think. The one cup sake, you can get at lawson's for 100 yen is WORLDS better than anything they had available. I wouldnt clean my bike engine with the drinks they had. Draft beer was local Orion and was great. Breakfast was a solid 6.5/10. Miso was super salty day 1 and improved a lot day 2 we were there. The staff across the board were very nice, kind, and helpful. This place has an impeccable location, and if that is your primary concern go for it.If you're splurging a little bit on this accommodation, thinking that you're getting a bunch of amenities, save your money and just buy beer and sake from the store."
