"I live in Japan and travel there a lot. I spent four nights in this hotel, which claims to be eco-friendly, but like other hotels recently, uses this as a pretext to cut costs. Indeed, the room was only cleaned once, and the disposable toothbrushes provided on the first day were only replaced a second time during the entire stay. The sheets were never changed, and the bed was made only once. The used towels weren't collected daily. Is offering disposable toothbrushes conceivable with a supposed commitment to environmental responsibility? No. Does not making the bed have anything to do with this so-called environmental responsibility? No. Offering a smoking room near the reception area that reeks of smoke in the hotel entrance... is that eco-friendly? No. Is it respectful of non-smokers? No."

"Very enjoyable visit and reasonably priced meals for a Ryokan. I had a great time with the private bath and recommend other visitors to arrange transportation with the hotel since a pickup from them is available at a nearby bus stop."

Their patience, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond their duties meant so much to us. We are truly grateful for the care and support we received. "The house is a traditional Japanese building and looks rather like a museum than a hotel. Some facilities are run down and repairs are overdue. However the owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful, they even drove us to the ferry terminal, although we didn't ask for."

"It is a family-style hot spring hotel for more than 160 years. It has been passed on by three generations of members of the family. It is a charming hot spring hotel with a view of Kamao Lake on Shinjuku Sado Island. The breakfast and dinner are delicious. The Japanese-style room is spacious and bright. We stayed for two nights and left the hotel. The hotel manager personally sent it by car. We went to the ferry, this stay felt comfortable and comfortable, thank you again for the store!"

"I stayed here on my first trip to Sado. I booked this hotel because it was adjacent to Sado's famous Futatsugame and had good reviews. Unfortunately, all reservations with dinner were full, so I stayed here without meals. The hotel is wide and faces the sea (Futatsugame), and the view from the lobby and the rooms is great, so it was very open and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, the bath was comfortable, and there were a wide variety of room and bath amenities. It's not a fancy hotel, but I had a very comfortable stay. As stated on the website, there are no convenience stores or restaurants near the hotel, so if you don't have a plan that includes meals, you have to bring something with you or eat before you go. If you want to go out to eat after checking in at the hotel, it takes about an hour to go anywhere, which is inconvenient, but if you know in advance, you can either eat before you go or buy something to bring with you, so it's not a problem. The starry sky at night was also a spectacular view from the room. Time flows at a leisurely pace, and this is the perfect hotel to experience something out of the ordinary. I'd love to stay here again! I highly recommend this hotel."

This building is a valuable historical building in the Aikawa area, and although it is old, it has been beautifully renovated, and the fluffy Simmons beds were extremely comfortable. What is particularly noteworthy about this inn is that it is integrated with the local community, allowing you to enjoy the charm of Sado throughout the town. We were introduced to many of the charms of Sado that we would have missed if we had not stayed here, and we felt as if we were living there. We were also impressed by the president's meticulous attention to detail and the warmth of the people of Sado. The rice balls at breakfast were also delicious. They just opened in August, so operations should improve from now on! If you go to Sado, we recommend this inn."
