"The open-air bath facing the sea offered amazing views, and the room's location was superb. We really enjoyed the free night tour and piano performance, and the starry sky was beautiful. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection of Sado local dishes and sashimi, all of which were delicious. We were absolutely delighted with this hotel!"

"The owner was very friendly and kind. The recommended spots in the surrounding area were also carefully taught while looking at the map, which was very helpful. The arrival was delayed than planned, but I was relieved to welcome you. The washroom and dressing room are shared, but they are kept clean and I didn't particularly care. The cat was also very friendly and cute, and it was a healing during my stay. It is a nice inn that I want to use again."

"It's a facility that I'm sure was bustling with tourists in the past. 😱 The staff are working hard, but to save on costs, the hallway lights are turned off and the air conditioning isn't on, so it still feels a bit rundown. I received amenities all three days, but I thought they were a waste. Maybe it's time to think about what you need and what you don't?"

"It's a 30-minute drive from Ryotsu Port down a winding mountain road, so it's best to avoid it in the dark. It was originally a mountain lodge, but it's more appropriate to call it a highland lodge. The view from here is great, and you can see the stars. You can also walk up Mt. Shiritate in 15 minutes, and see the sunrise. I heard it was an Italian restaurant, but it was a French course, and it was delicious."

"When you go upstairs, the toilet smells, and you smell when you sleep or wake up. The private room seems to be renovated, but the Shoji windows are thick with dust for several years. The grilled fish for breakfast is like a sponge. Garbage and dust that cannot be seen directly in the gap of tatami mats in the room of the meal. I booked this inn because there was no other inn around here, but I regretted that I should have made it an inn in another area separated from 20-30."

"It was my first time using the hotel and I stayed for 2 nights, and the staff, including the front desk staff, greeted me well and was very helpful. There is also a large public bath where you can relax. I went to Sawada and Ryotsu in a rental car, and it was quiet at night and I slept soundly. At breakfast, we also enjoyed local foods such as rice and rice cakes. This is a hotel I would like to stay at again."

"The hotel was spotless, and we really enjoyed our stay with services like the foot bath, welcome drinks in the lobby, a piano performance upon request in the evening, bus transfers to the illuminated Sado Gold Mine (Kitazawa Flotation Plant), and delicious 'oinarisan' (fried tofu stuffed with sushi rice) as a late-night snack. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a great selection of seafood from the Sea of Japan. Unfortunately, it was raining when we viewed the Sea of Japan from the hot spring, which was a shame. But we'd definitely love to come back again."

"I particularly liked the decor of the rooms. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. Among other things, they allowed me to park my bike in the entrance area, and instead of just storing my luggage, they let me check in much earlier. The location is, of course, remote but beautiful, with plenty of nearby attractions and a great view. There was also a stargazing event, which was much better than I expected. The food was also delicious, very upscale but not over the top."

"There is no port shuttle service, so I took a bus there, which took about an hour. I always get an immediate response when I contact the owner, and when I get off the bus I see the owner waiting at the bus stop. We booked a double room, which was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. We could rent electric bicycles and there were many attractions nearby. The door cannot be locked, so any sounds from other rooms will be clearer."
