"Gone downhill, Bathroom filthy. Loud bass pounding through walls until 3am, I called reception twice 1:30, 1:36 to ask speak to someone (advertised as 24/7) no answer. Rung out both times.
Toilet seat hadn't been cleaned, there was br*wn debris on it I had to wipe off. Tables either side of bed covered in old dust not wiped.
I told reception they said someone would contact me within 24 hours. No-one did."

"The location was excellent: just one street away from Central Market and Chinatown, and very close to a tram station, making it super convenient for getting around the city. However, we were disappointed by the apartment, which we found very unwelcoming and dark. The bedroom had no windows, and the living room windows were permanently covered by curtains that couldn't be opened. This meant we had to keep the lights on all the time. In the living room, only one of the three ceiling lights was working, creating a rather gloomy atmosphere. The check-out time between 8 and 10 AM also seemed a bit too early for us. Considering the price, we would have liked to be able to linger a bit longer."

"The room could use a bit of an update but I guess it's good for the price that it was for. It had everything you need for a business stay. You could get some noise from other room/ floor and a bit from outside but nothing major to upset my stay. There were no charging points next to the bed."

"This is a great location and i enjoyed my stay albeit a couple of niggles. The shape of the room meant the TV was so far away from the bed. It seemed positioned perfectly to watch TV from the bath, but id rather have a comfortable viewing from the bed. It also meant two of us squeezed on to one side of the b
Bed to be able to see the TV. The mattress was also uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It sloped one side and had a big bump in the centre.
Overall a good hotel but I wouldn't stay in that specific room again."

Within a five-minute walk, there are all kinds of restaurants, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Western ones, so there's bound to be one to suit your taste. YYYHKandMACAUThe location is excellent, right by Glenelg Beach. Supermarkets and restaurants are all within a 5-10 minute walk. Driving to Adelaide city center or the airport takes only 15 to 30 minutes. The hotel also has a casino and a bar where you can enjoy a drink or try your luck. While the hotel shows its age a bit, it's clean and the rooms are spacious enough. Breakfast was just average, with limited food choices, but the view was lovely. The paid parking lot is not in the same building as the hotel; it's across the street, about 30 steps away, so you'll need to carry your luggage over.

Interesting offer to refund $10/ night to be used on food and beverage if you don’t elect to have your room cleaned. Finally a hotel recognises that offer $ back to not get room cleaned every day will reduce waste, reduce laundry which is ecologically cleaner will reduce their costs and allow customer to get a beer at their restaurant, win win for all! Great initiative!

GGuest UserChose this hotel as we were taking the coach / ferry to kangaroo island early in the morning and this is literally right across the road. So location for this was excellent but quite a walk to main shopping and dining area at Rundle Street especially in the cold and rainy weather. Apartment was spacious but we were quite disturbed by the numerous appearances made by cockfriacges!!! Also was very surprised when we left at 615am the reception was still not open! Imagine if we had to leave luggage to be stored!!! That would have bern quite a disaster!

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel for my husband's birthday and had a great time. Loved the heated pool and jacuzzi. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, very cramped and staff were struggling to keep up, did not feel like a five star experience. Balcony really tiny with no view, so not one you could actually use. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly.

The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower.
the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor.
Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does.
The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote.
Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work.
Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits.
It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

GGuest UserHi how are you back iptuor to Covid I had stayed at the oaks many many times and the spa was then out of order and again it seams it’s still out of service this needs to be fixed thank you and if stay for often ..
I’d also like to add the sauna the wood is almost falling the wall on the right hand side a bit maintenamce is needed in there ..
and to up keep with all around existing hotels
Filtered water and cups not the fountain Out side the spa as you can get vide hydrated in there … I was dizzy stepping out of due to my own fault drinking alcohol all night and then the sauna anyways I good coles water straight out side the spa would be perfect thank you
The room it self was very beautiful I’d actual love to purchase one of the rooms and actual live there once the spas in working order
My son stayed there a month years ago with airforce coming back from Wagga Wagga at 19-21 yrs the Air Force funded his stay and I stayed with him and il never forget the very special family memories perfect spot tram casino train all very good 9/10 10/10 if you did some maintenance in the sauna and have the spa up and running the day the spa is working email me and il stay .2 /3 nights

While the room is a bit small, it offers excellent value for money. The food at the hotel's ground floor restaurant is also quite good.

GGuest UserWe loved our stay at the Rydges hotel,the ambience, the service, the service providers and the entire crew were lovely.Being a first time in Adelide, the visit was made superb by the amazing experience we got from the hotel. Their rooms are clean, amenities are excellent, rooms are spacious, views are scenic and it is cvonveniently located to any major plae you would like to visit. I loved how generous their compliments are, including the fridge with merchandise that would be essential in the middle of the night or so! It was also fairly priced and we loved our spa and pool sessions.
If you need to relax and unwind in a well hosted environment in Adelide, do'nt hesitate to make a booking. I will definitely book them if I have to go back.Thank you😊😊😊😊

It takes 15m from airport by vehicle and only 5m to tram and trail station on foot. equipments in the room are fully prepared and easy to use. the only cons is thin wall of washroom, which causes a little noise when someone is using the toilet.
