"We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Zuri Resort Coron. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm, relaxing, and well thought out. We stayed in a Family Room with two queen beds and bunk beds built above them, and our kids loved it — it was spacious, fun, and perfect for families.
The staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond. The resort’s four pools were another major highlight, each offering amazing views of the beach and sunset, making it easy to wind down and enjoy the scenery.
We were impressed by the cocktails, food, and buffet selection, which had a wide variety of options that catered to both Filipinos and non-Filipinos. Everything felt fresh and satisfying.
Another thing we appreciated was how the resort provided clear details on different activities and tours available around Coron. It made planning our days simple and stress-free.
Overall, Zuri Resort delivered comfort, beauty, and excellent service from start to finish. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again."

"Hotel is surprisingly great for its price! With just some few bucks to add vs the usual lodge/backpacker rates, you will get far superior amenities, room size and service as a whole. The hotel owner is the same with Zuri Resort by the bay, and the adjacent Westown Lagoon.
Staffs are friendly and accommodating. Hotel facade, pool and bar and restaraunt are also great. They got three or four pools. The rooms are okay, not as pleasant as the hotel facade but still are in good condition and still comfortable.
The only downside would be the location, its 5-6km away from the town proper - will take around 10mins via tuktuk/tricyle. Bfast buffet is just okay. Not a lot of choices but still good.
Overall, still a good experience for the price."

"This is trully amazing hotel! Room was a little bit small but to be honest it was so cozy there, so that it's size doesn't really matter. All rooms are right next to the pool which is super convenient.

"The hotel is really nice with a pool, palm trees, clean corridors, and friendly staff. The location is a little out of the way and you'll find yourself needing to catch a trike to the town as the walk can be far, but this is not much of an issue as it only costs about 50 pesos. If you find yourself having breakfast here, be careful as the food is not warm/hot leading me to believe they either prepare it early and let it sit for a while, or prepare it the day before. The double bedroom is rather small but shouldn't be an issue if all you want to do is sleep. But I would definitely invest extra money to get a bedroom with its own comfort room rather than going for shared facilities. Good value for the price and I would still recommend."

"We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and it was worth the money. The room was spacious and clean. Hot and cold shower was available. The staffs were very kind and accommodating to our needs. I was able to work for 1 night with their internet even if it was just around 8mbps but there will be times the internet will be out. If you get the other side of the hotel, you will get an amazing view of the mountain. Only downside of our stay was that my husband got diarrhea on the last day of our stay, it could be from the boat tours or may be from the hotel buffet since I was not able to eat some of the meals there while my husband did. But overall, the hotel stay was great! Hopefully Palawan solves this ongoing “diarrheic outbreak”. We were able to visit Puerto Princesa and El Nido before but never had the experience getting sick."

"Very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is very scenic on the water, and has an amazing pool, but you do have to take a tuk tuk to the downtown area and back. It is conveniently located next to the pier if you will take the ferry to El Nido. It was only a 4 minute walk. The TV had Netflix, which was a happy surprise. The bed was a bit hard and the shower did not get all the way hot, but everything was comfortable enough. I recommend also reserving one of the Coron Island tours you can find on Trip."

FFulgencio Pollocation is perfect just few block for a market and walking distance to the marina we're the boats for excursion is dock and load. The hotel accomodations is just basic small bed low and very thin mattress, pillow and blanket is excellent soft, water supply is abundant although electricity us intermitent on and off, our aircondition unit has been affected that doesn't giving cold air glad it was just out last night. pool is beautiful and cleaned , food for breakfast is superb better and giid quality selection. the staff are very polite and respectful, very helpful and get job done as much as possible, they pack a sandwich breakfast for us as we have early trip to El Nido that was very nice if rhem. The water supply is not drinkable so they provide bottled water and you can ask for a refill. They will give you a welcome drink of a fruit drink. This is really a good location, my only dislike is the bed, as it's very small when they say twin bed it is a twin bed, other than that it's ok. Yes its more pricey compare to the sorrounding hotel but the food and pool are the best.

笔笔尖戏子Super satisfied, highly recommend this hotel, the king of cost! Location: 5 minutes drive from Coron Town, 20-25P one person. Environment: The picture is consistent, we have set a deluxe room, although the hotel looks small, there is a hole in the sky, there is a beautiful swimming pool (free use of life jackets and ankles), as well as lounge chairs, swings, etc., elegant and pleasant. Service: The waiter is very polite, cleaning is super clean (remember to tip) Breakfast: The free breakfast is very rich, and it is not heavy every day, full! Equipment: There are safes, hair dryers, disposable toiletries, hot and cold water. From the hotel overlooking the sea, it is very beautiful, then the hotel also has a spa (on the opposite side of the two swings), behind the showcase selling jewelry in the hotel lobby is a small supermarket. If you want to buy daily necessities, but do not want to go to the town, go out of the hotel door and turn left to go 100 meters to have a canteen (cheap than the town), turn right is the road to the town. TT M ShaneIt's a basic few frills hotel that's perfect for us in its own way. It's right t on the highway, but interestingly quiet. The room is just right sized with a comfortable firm bed and clean, like I said - basic - who the heck comes to Coron to spend time in a room??? The staff is just really helpful and accommodating to our inquiries and needs. Just treat them like humans... I noticed some travelers who don't even have any respect... these people work hard. Anyways, the place is literally at the foot of Mount Tapyas so it was a challenging hike for 2 retired overweight seniors. Jaicobs is also a block away from Calle Real - the main tourist thoroughfare and the municipal building which housed the police and fire stations, so we felt compketely safe. Cafes, and restaurants also almost 10 steps away and we never had a problem choosing. One block away from San Agustin church, and theres an ATM across the street. I would highly recommend the place. It's reasonable and comfortable.

CCris RuffoloI went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

VVictoria&JessiMy overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff.
My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests.
During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water.
The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there.

Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if you’re looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp.
The amenities are thoughtful – free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below – but keep in mind, you’ll also hear the street noise quite clearly. Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!

GGuest UserThe transportation company sponsored by the resort from airport to resort was BAD - book airport transportation to resort once you land and not with resort sponsored company. There is a Starbucks coffee on property, limited menu. Staff does not make the stay experience more enjoyable. The breakfast is average at best - Somewhat boring and limited selection. No bacon, poor sausage taste, no cheese or sliced meats as an option like so many other resorts/hotels. Coffee is super basic. Main dishes are limited. Resort pool is nothing unique and boring. Pool waitstaff not friendly. The food prices are over priced for how basic the food is. The pool chairs are nice. There are no resort activities, especially for little kids.

I had a wonderful stay at MO2 Lagoon Coron! The food was absolutely delicious — every meal was a treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The amenities were top-notch, and the whole place had a peaceful, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind.
One highlight was when my phone accidentally got soaked — I asked the staff if they had rice to help dry it out, and they immediately gave me some without hesitation. That small act of kindness really made a difference and showed how attentive and helpful they are. Highly recommended if you're looking for a chill, worry-free getaway in Coron!

The reception desk will check in for dinner time the night before, the town is small, so the location is also Not bad, you can see the coastline from the rooftop. 5 star recommendation.

GGuest UserGreat location - short walking distance to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, ATM/banks, harbour for island hopping, tour agencies, market, etc. The staff are helpful, welcoming and accommodating. They serve a decent Filipino buffet breakfast (6:30-9:00am) that will surely fill you up for your adventures. This hotel has an elevator, which is convenient. They offer a safe for your valuables at the reception (not in the rooms), and they keep them safely. The only downside is the WiFi is only available in the lobby and dining area and not in the rooms, but this wasn’t a problem for us. One problem for us is the smell from the pipes in the bathroom (sometimes), but the overall cleanliness is good. I would go back and stay in this property again. FYI, we stayed in Room SK, which was quite big with a balcony (great for hanging your wet stuff from island hopping - ask for a portable stand hanger).
