"What an incredible stay! We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about Zuri. Starting from the staff - everybody was super nice, helpful and smiley. They even had a thermometer for us to buy when we needed one! The transport was waiting for us at the airport (paid 300php/person one way). The room and bathroom was really spacious and spotless. There’s plenty of space for the clothes and stuff in the bathroom. The room also has a fridge, kettle with coffee/tea choices as well as bathroom alimentaries. The resort area is amazing. The resort is places by the hill a bit away from the town, facing the sea and Coron island. It has 3 pools + 1 kiddie pool, a pool bar, cafe, restaurant, shop, ATM and more. It’s surrounded by greens. You can truly rest there. The breakfasts there were exceptional! Lots of choice, different food both western and Asian. There was also barbecue in the evenings, very tasty as well. We loved it! The only minor downsides: - you can’t really control the AC, there’s no remote, you can have it set to fan or cool and set the power 1-10 - there is no reception in the room - there are not many power outlets in the room"

"Great hotel. It's a really big hotel too. Everything you need is here. A short 10 min motorcycle ride to town, the hotel organised the motorcycle rental very easily. Good wifi and a few pool areas are here. Keep in mind if you're using smart as your cell provider there is no service here but I think that's the case for everywhere outside of the town. When you land at the airport they have staff there to organise transport without even having to tell them which was a nice touch. I would stay here again without hesitation"

"The bedroom was so spacious and clean. The balcony was great kasi may view sa coron and youll see the sunset if maganda weather. However lacking lang ng mga toiletries siguro, yung free lang is bath gel and shampoo/conditioner, walang toothpaste, etc. Given the price sana meron complete agad sa room. Would also be better if may tv inside the room. Service also sa restaurant is not so great but sa reception area naman they were all good and accomodating."

"We loved that the place is right in the center of Coron, super convenient for walking around to restaurants and souvenir shops. We also availed their Super Ultimate Tour, which we really enjoyed! There’s a convenience store right beside the property, which was great for grabbing food and water. The Wi-Fi connection was very reliable, we were able to work at night and still go on a tour in the morning without any issues haha. The room is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend this place!"

"It was a pleasant stay at Sun Ez Resort. We had a spacious room that comfortably fit our family of four (2 adults and kids aged 12 and 14). The resort has a nice swimming pool and several cottages where you can sit and relax. Breakfast offered a good variety (around 8–10 dishes), including Filipino, Korean, and American options, along with fruits and juice. They also provide a free one-way tricycle ride to town from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, which was very convenient. The location is great—less than a 5-minute walk to McDonald’s and not far from town. A big bonus is the on-site restaurant, where we could easily have lunch and dinner after a long day of island hopping. The food was quite nice. The only downside is that some areas could use better maintenance, as there were a few stains on the floors and walkways. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to stay and good for families."

"We stayed for 5 days, 3 days in a ground-floor room with direct pool access and 2 days in a standard room on the third floor. The rooms are large and clean, with everything you need. The staff are very responsive and quick to act on requests. Everything was wonderful. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute walk to all the nightlife. The only thing that slightly soured the experience was the extremely meager breakfast."

"Filipino hospitality is second to none. The people are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. So what makes the staff at the Funny Lion so special. Well, they simply go that extra mile. On our first morning, we almost missed breakfast, but fortunately the staff noticed we hadn’t been in and gave us a call to remind us the breakfast room would be closing soon. When they heard we had an early morning tour the next day, they checked we were OK for breakfast, they reminded us to pick up some beach towels (we had forgotten) and checked we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is also nice with two restaurants and a rooftop bar. The main restaurant does a buffet on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There’s a fair range of food, but I thought there could have been a few more Filipino dishes to try. The Mexican restaurant was also OK. The starters were very tasty especially the ceviche type dishes. The mains weren’t bad but it would have been even better had the dishes been a bit more varied. The rooftop bar was probably my favourite of the three. You can lay in one of the two the mini jacuzzi-type pools and sip a cocktail while watching the sun set. It’s worth taking advantage of their happy hour (5-7pm) where they do a BOGOF on their signature cocktails (very good) or 4 beers for the price of 3. Their pizzas in the bar are pretty decent too. They are individual pizzas so if you’re hungry one might not be enough. As for the room, it was OK. I think we should have paid a little more and gone for a better room, but it was fine. It was pretty standard with a mini-bar, TV , air-con and safe. The nice thing was the freshly cooked biscuits they would leave us every day. Those, the lovely welcome and departure gifts plus the truly excellent service makes the Funny Lion a hotel I would most definitely recommend."

"We stayed at this hotel from Oct. 14 to Oct. 17 and had a great overall experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. It was a peaceful and relaxing environment perfect for a midweek break. One thing to note: there was no cellular service available in the area during our stay. While Wi-Fi was provided and worked fine for most needs, it might be something to keep in mind if you rely heavily on mobile signal for work or communication. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. We’d definitely consider staying again!"
