"We loved that the place is right in the center of Coron, super convenient for walking around to restaurants and souvenir shops. We also availed their Super Ultimate Tour, which we really enjoyed! There’s a convenience store right beside the property, which was great for grabbing food and water. The Wi-Fi connection was very reliable, we were able to work at night and still go on a tour in the morning without any issues haha. The room is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend this place!"

"The hotel and room were very nice, with a good location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a tour through the hotel; they picked us up on time, but we had to wait at least two hours at the dock. The price also increased once we started speaking with the guide, so keep in mind that the initial price offered is just a base. Despite this, the tour itself was beautiful and outstanding, and it made up for the inconvenience. Overall, I recommend the hotel."

"My overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff. My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests. During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water. The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there."

"You got what u pay for, not bad but the toilet was a bit nasty although the staff tries to clean as best as possible not all guests have the same concept of hygiene. Overall a decent stay especially for the price"

"The hotel is in the center which makes it very easy to get around and very convenient for tours since they all pick you up at the entrance, there are many restaurants, shops, laundries, massages and much more nearby. The restaurant and bar are on the fourth floor, it has a very nice view of the port, due to the type of place there are obviously no elevators, if you go with people with some mobility impairment it can be a problem, or at least they will have to take their time to get there. They offer breakfast, the night before they ask you the time and your choice, they give you 8 options all have egg + two slices of bread 🍞 or rice with garlic + some meat, the portion in my opinion is small but it helps you at least hold out for a little while until you go somewhere else to have breakfast. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DRINKING WATER FROM THEIR DISPENSERS since it had mold on it for 2 days, I had reported it to the receptionist and she said that they would clean it but it was not like that, she offered me small bottles of water instead. There is a pool but I never saw anyone go in and the reason is simple, it is very dirty, personally I would not risk an infection due to the quality of the water. The receptionists are very kind in their words and are very helpful with requests, but one of them has subtitles because her face shows her displeasure. They all speak English which makes things easier. I got room 103 unfortunately absolutely everything that happens outside can be heard, and since it is very close to the reception, noise is a frequent occurrence. If they give you this room perhaps with the tiredness of the tours it will not matter as much because one ends up exhausted, what I do recognize is that their bed is very very comfortable. Despite the details I think it is a good accommodation option, they have areas of opportunity to improve, the town in general is developing so perhaps on another occasion I will give them another chance."

"The hotel is just a little difficult to find, when I saw the reception I was worried because the place is under renovation, but as soon as I saw the rooms I loved them. Extremely clean environment, well located, on the main street, amenities, and very friendly staff, but the friendliest employee was a little dog who always greeted us with joy every day, he made my trip and my stay much happier ❤️"

"We enjoyed their restaurant coz the staff was kind, generous, and helpful. The food was delicious, despite sisig was costly mischiefed (it was more expensive than in menu prices), it has a free videoki and disco, and water. We had plenty fun dancing at the disco and having fun with the other local people. The music was awesome and lovely. There most lovely thing is there is security (at both restaurants and hotel) that guards and guides. The room we had was awful. There was no soap, no tissue, neither shampoo, a miserable room with cockroaches and ants, but we checked out earlier by mistake and we were checked in an upgraded room. The room was exclusive. Thanks for that."

"Upon arrival, we found out that the Ricardo Hotel was fully booked, so we had to stay in a half-empty building next door. Overall, the room wasn't bad. It had a balcony and hot water. However, there was no shower kit provided. The room description mentioned a hairdryer, but there wasn't one at all. The sink drained very slowly! On our last day, there was no water in the toilet. Tom, a staff member, was very helpful and tried his best to assist us with everything we asked for. Big thanks to him 🙏. And that rooster crowing at midnight – that's a special kind of crazy! 😂 I think he's ready for the soup pot! 🙈 The hotel's location isn't ideal, but there's a 24-hour McDonald's nearby. Getting from the hotel to the town center and the pier (where boats depart for tours) costs 50-60 Philippine pesos for two people on a tricycle. The hotel staff booked a tricycle transfer for us to the pier in the morning, for our boat to El Nido. However, the driver quoted an excessively high price, comparable to what we paid for a minivan from the airport. Considering it's not a long ride at all, it was quite unpleasant. All in all, it's livable, especially considering the cost. We booked our stay not long before check-in, so we didn't have many other options."
