"As a solo travel blogger, I chose the Golden Empire Suvarnabhumi Hotel for my layover in Bangkok this time, and the experience exceeded my expectations! • Location: Only a 20-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport, the hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle service, which is a blessing for early morning flights or late arrivals. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so you don't have to worry about getting around. • Cleanliness: Both the room and public areas were very clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there were no strange odors. As someone who's particular about cleanliness, I was very satisfied. • Service: The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The airport shuttle service was punctual, and the driver was polite, making me feel very secure. • Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities, including a gym, a restaurant, and comfortable lounge areas, allowing for good relaxation even during a short stay. Overall, this is an airport hotel with excellent value for money, perfect for solo travelers or those on a layover. Highly recommended!"

"I won't be posting photos with the kids. This hotel is very comfortable, clean, beautiful, and warm. The hotel shuttle departs from the hotel to the airport every half hour. It returns from the airport to the hotel every hour on the hour. You just need to have your name on the reservation. I only stayed one night and had breakfast, and everything was great. The restaurant plays Teresa Teng's songs. They have all the food you could want. The baggage handlers are responsible; they help guests take their luggage up and down, and even deliver it to their rooms. Highly recommended!"

"Stayed here for 2 nights only. I arrived past midnight after a late flight, and thankfully there was still a receptionist on duty. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. The room was huge, and I got a corner room, which was a plus. There was also a terrace attached to the room, which could have been nice, but unfortunately it wasn’t well maintained. It was dusty and used as a space for the outdoor air-conditioning units. You can still access it, but it didn’t feel comfortable to use. However, the floor was dusty, and overall cleanliness was just okay. The hotel feels quite old, and because it was very quiet, it felt a bit eerie at night. Breakfast wasn’t great and honestly quite forgettable. At the restaurant, one of the male staff members didn’t seem to understand what we were saying and ended up ignoring us completely without even a greeting, which felt awkward. On the bright side, there’s a minimarket right next door, so it’s very easy to buy anything you need. The hotel is also pretty close to the airport around 21 minutes at night. Getting into the city takes about an hour, and a ride to Pratunam / Platinum Mall costs around 400–500 THB via Bolt. Overall, good location near the airport and nice reception staff, but cleanliness, breakfast, and restaurant service could be improved."

"Stayed here for one night because it’s very close to the airport — and for that purpose it works perfectly. Check-in was easy and convenient after a late arrival. However, it’s quite loud. You can clearly hear planes and general outside noise, so it’s not somewhere I’d choose for a longer or relaxing stay. Overall: good for a quick overnight stop before/after a flight, but not ideal if you want proper rest or comfort for multiple nights."

"The room was very clean, and the front desk staff, especially the ladies, were really pretty and spoke so nicely. The service staff were also handsome and very enthusiastic. There were delicious free drinks in the lobby, and the hotel's airport shuttle service was very convenient, being so close to the airport."

"This hotel is very close to Suvarnabhumi Airport, so you can see planes taking off and landing, but it's not noisy at all. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the rooms themselves are very clean with a nice environment, lots of greenery everywhere, mainly due to the golf course next door. The only downside is that getting a taxi is inconvenient. If you plan on traveling to and from the city center, definitely don't choose this place. We stayed in the hotel the whole time, eating and drinking there without going out. There's a free shuttle service for departures, but no pick-up service."

Friendly, polite, and always ready to help, they made the stay even smoother. You can feel the professionalism from the moment you check in to the moment you leave. The hotel’s breakfast area was bright and inviting, offering a nice variety of fresh food to start the day right. Even the small details — like the fragrance in the hallways and the soft background music — added to the experience. "I embarked on my inaugural flight from Hat Yai to Suvarnabhumi on 13 December 2025. After landing in Suvarnabhumi, I quickly looked for Exit A at the terminal building, turned left and walked towards Gate 5. At Gate 4, no Immigration officer stopped me to check my travel particulars. Within ten minutes, I joined other guests to board the free shuttle service to Siam Mandarina Hotel. I am grateful to Siam Mandarina Hotel for arranging me to stay on the fifth floor. At night, the airport is beautiful and I am able to see planes take off at night and during the day. Siam Mandarina Hotel has updated its logo on toiletries, allowed outdoor concert and dining at the Joy Square at its premises and broadened the variety of options for complimentary breakfast. The restaurant staff during lunch time allowed me to bring salad to the third floor terrace garden for dining during the brief stops for external dining. The hotel's Crystal Restaurant is closed during the day after breakfast hours. Lunch is provided at the restaurant's bartender area. The last afternoon timing for the free shuttle service to Suvarnabhumi Airport is at 5.35 pm."
