"Beautiful property right on a quiet beach with amazing value for money! The infinity pool, especially during sunset, is a real highlight. The staff are courteous, and there's a great scooter rental service right on-site. A 7-Eleven is directly across the street. "I enjoyed my stay at the Simple Life Talay & Divers Resort. The location was excellent. Close to everything including the ocean and beach etc. The staff were excellent, very helpful, polite and kind. The layered pools were very cool too and of course you have an amazing view of the ocean from all levels. The room was good, nothing super special but we were also staying in the ”back” away from the ocean/pool due to the price we chose. Oddly enough, the room didn't have a window in the front, just 4 ”glass” blocks so it felt like a cave at times. But great to have the mini-fridge and warm water shower cuz the weather was unseasonably cool and rained one day. The first night there was this awful noise of water dropping on a big plastic bucket all night long and we had a very hard time sleeping. But thankfully, we were able to the staff to move the bucket to the noise went away. Many of their Burmese staff stay in our building as well so you have to put up with various noises of people and families chatting to each other, making ”Som Tam” and banging on things. But no problem recommending this place to anyone. Very pleased with our stay there for what we paid! And of course loved our time on Koh Tao and can't wait to go back!"

"I stayed during some pretty hot days, and the lack of air conditioning wasn't an issue. The fan did a good job of keeping the room cool. The location is superb; it's within walking distance of the ferry, and consequently, there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The beach was a bit dirty, but fine for just enjoying the view of the sea. Each bungalow has a hammock. There was no refrigerator. The instant water heater in the shower was there, but for some reason, it wasn't working. Overall, it's a quiet and cozy place."

"Lovely hotel and great room decor. Small bathroom but useable. No bugs or mosquitos. Nice pool - bigger than thought as others say it’s “tiny”.
Location is tucked away but 10 mins away from centre, so it’s quiet. Not too far from Laundry and good local food if you come out and turn left.
Scooter hire here but only when staff at reception."

"The hotel is located right on the beachfront. When the tide is in, swimming in the sea is perfectly fine. The sand is soft. The hotel has been recently renovated. The plumbing is good, and there's excellent water pressure. Housekeeping is available on request. Every day, they provide two bottles of water and fresh towels. "The room was clean and everything was new, the big downside was uncomfortable pillows and no kettle in the rooms. Very close to the beach, lots of cool cafes and bars nearby. There is a parking lot for the car, the staff helped with any request"

"1. If you're traveling with a small child, be sure to request a ground-floor room! The stairs are very steep, and the long balcony railings have wide gaps between the vertical bars. I nearly went gray just seeing those stairs with a 1.4-year-old in my arms.

3. Pleasant music plays throughout the property.
4. At high tide, the hotel's beach disappears, but you can walk through the water to reach the sandy areas.
5. Delicious food with reasonable prices. The menu is diverse, and the pizza is good.

"Came with my girlfriend on a diving trip for 6 nights at the koh Tao cabana. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Take advantage of the free paddle boards and kayaks if you can. Super nice area on the beach all reserved for this resort. The breakfast was also very nice and loved the Thai options as well as the western food options. The rooms can be individual cabanas on a hillside so it is a little bit of a walk up but this didn’t bother us. We would stay here again and very happy with our experience. Thank you Koh Tao Cabana!"

GGuest UserA wonderful place for recreation 🫶 lived 2 families from 25 to 30 December in the smallest villa, all this time with us were wonderful Steve and Muhammad. Steve took us all over the island wherever we wanted and took us from anywhere, thank you Steve 🙏Muhammed also took care that our rest was careless, helped to organize the washing, Organized us a tour to the sea 🙏ville clean every day, there is everything necessary for cooking food (we did not prepare TK on the sairi a lot of delicious cafes). I definitely recommend this place for rest, very atmospheric and comfortable, in the surrounding jungle ❤️

GGuest UserBeautiful location along a calm bay with coral reef only a couple of feet into the water .
Room was clean and very comfortable.
We had two children aged 9 and 14 and they felt safe and welcome at the location . The beds for the children were not included in the booking and additional fee had to be paid upon arrival , this was the only strange option as our booking party stated the exact number of guests.
We ate at the restaurant and the food quality was very good albeit a little more expensive than the surrounding restaurants.
We would return to this place again in the future

The pool was not cooled and the water was very very warm. Here and there the cleanliness could be better. It was a nice stay, but in the price category you can at least expect this. Thank you!

JJorborI was very excited to stay at this hotel. The room had a wonderful atmosphere, and I was fortunate to receive a room with a high ceiling, which made the space feel even more spacious and airy. The room was also very clean. The only downside was that after spending some time in the room or using the bathroom, a strong sewage odor began to come from the drain. Even with the toilet lid closed, the smell was still quite unpleasant.
In terms of transportation, everything was very convenient. You can contact the lobby to arrange transfers around Koh Phangan (for an additional fee). Guests can also access the swimming pool and certain services at other hotels within the same group (additional charges may apply), which makes getting around easier and adds more activities to enjoy.
As for the breakfast buffet, there was a wide variety of options available. However, most of the dishes were quite cold, likely because they had been left out for some time. Only the egg station served freshly cooked and warm food.

GGuest UserIf we come to KhoTao again, we will definitely stay at this hotel! Very beautiful hotel grounds, away from the noisy streets, but within walking distance. Lots of greenery, birds singing, just a tropical paradise); room cleaning every day, no need to ask anyone about it; you can order not only breakfasts but also lunches and dinners to your room (there are 2 menus from different restaurants in the room); very comfortable bed; panoramic windows overlooking palm trees, you wake up, open your eyes, and see :🌴; the cleanest and private pool with different depths, surrounded by the tropics, I still miss it and remember how good it was there..
There is also a transfer, we did not use it, but it is there. When the ferry arrives, to the left of the pier there will be guys with signs with the names of the hotels, look for Woodlawn Village. I give this hotel 11 out of 10 ❤️

It is a recommended hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a beach front villa, the villa was lovely, felt like home from the moment we walked in, lots of space and a kitchen area, and a washing machine which was lovely to get some washing done before we continued travelling. Right on the beach, which was so peaceful. Unfortunately our villa didn’t have sun lounger in the sun like the others on the beach, when I asked if I could move one from the pool area, if was a very brutal blunt no, which really effected our stay, as we had nowhere to bask in the sun. If you are looking for a 4/5 star then this is not the place for you. The accommodation and location is ideal, but no service provided at all, no cleaning of the room, you had to ask for fresh towels and toilet roll, and the bins were never emptied. We felt like we were not very welcome, even at breakfast it felt like they didn’t really want you there. A smile, quick chat, and a bit of service goes a long long way. 100% only a 3 star if not 2 star because of the lack of service, more like a lovely beachfront self catering glamping pod. It’s a 3.5 km walk to the main town, which is buzzing, but there are pubs and restaurants along the whole road, to stop in for refreshments. Very relaxing place, apart from the staff bickering and arguing.

Could use some fresh towels, ours were very old with holes in them and the bed could use an upgrade, sweaked everytime you moved.
But the owners were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Plus very friendly monkeys came to visit in the morning!

DDaria ZinovevaWas something what I need, quite remotes place, but not far from everything. Very particular and special place I would say, something unusual. The hotel is not old, but I felt in the room that it’s quite old, the atmosphere) The linen had spots. The bed is big and very comfortable. Great incredible view! You can just be stuck near the window. Really spacious room. Very high, so to bring there suitcases I wouldn’t recommend, you would just suffer. There is Apichada view point, one of the best places in Phangan.
