And delicious breakfast starting at 04:30 before your next flight. That is why i prefer Sabija to new Istanbul airport where you have to drive to the nearst hotel. Here, no, just a few steps."

The hotel is located in a walking distance to many intersting sites, such as Hagie Sofia, Blue mosque etc. The variety of restaurants around the hotel offers superb choices of deligious food, and to every guests' taste. "Our stay at The Constantine Hotel was wonderful! 🌟 The location is perfect — everything is within walking distance. The staff were very polite and helpful, always ready to assist. "Great location, many restaurants and coffee places nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed by the lady at the breakfast buffet for her help and kindness. However, my room had a couple of issues that need to be fixed. When I first went in, I kept hearing some beeping noise, which came from the motion detector, so had to have a technician come in to switch it off. Then in the bathroom, I didn't have hot water in the sink for the first day, and then on the second day only hot water and then the next day no hot water.... The left faucet was impossible to turn. Apart from the room itself, was overall satisfied of the building and other facilities."

"I would like to share my experience during my stay . Overall, the cleanliness and restaurant service were good; however, I faced an unacceptable situation at the health club. On my first day using the health club — which was included free with my room booking — I was informed that the allowed time was thirty minutes. After spending about ten minutes in the sauna and steam room, I proceeded to the Turkish bath. Shortly after I entered, the staff asked me to leave because another ”preferred guest” wanted to use it, even though I had entered with their approval and according to the schedule. I refused to leave since I had entered before that guest, but then the health club manager came and repeated the same request, stating that the other guest gives them tips. I had no choice but to leave the place while I was still wet and very upset about their unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I immediately went to the reception desk to file a complaint, but I was surprised to learn that the hotel management had no authority over the health club. No apology or compensation was offered for the incident, which left me with a very negative impression of the service and guest treatment."

"A terrible experience at this hotel. Despite its excellent location and stunning views, and despite being generally good, the customer service was extremely poor. The reception staff were unprofessional and unfriendly, with no welcoming or friendly demeanor. Most of my friends didn't speak English well, only a few phrases, and the receptionist would ignore them and move on to another guest, failing to understand their needs or even attempt to communicate with them. He even said, ”You Saudis don't speak any language.” We booked breakfast, yet on the first day, they kept changing our reservations. We went upstairs and downstairs repeatedly about it, insisting we contact the company and explaining that the reservation didn't include breakfast. After much pressure, we finally got breakfast. Upon checkout, they took our luggage roughly, pulling two bags off the trolley. They pushed them into the elevator and dragged them out, leaving them there before the driver even arrived. When I spoke to the baggage handler, he didn't respond. When the driver finally arrived, I tried to speak to him, but he said it wasn't his responsibility because of the location and the bags. When I asked for his name, he hid his ID. One last thing, as we were leaving, they said that... There were missing items in the refrigerators that we hadn't touched or drunk anything from, yet they wanted to demand payment even though they hadn't checked them. In all the times and hotels I've stayed in Istanbul, this was the worst treatment I've ever experienced. It was like I was there to sleep for free, literally. That's how I felt. Besides that, there was no more than two bottles of water in each room, and if you asked for another, they said it was forbidden. There were no tissues either."

"The pictures do not actually match the room. It shows a terrace but it is actually only available in a different category. There is no sofa. The city view is just a view of a wall right in front of the window. The staff didn't really care."

From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort. Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards. Service & Staff The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel. Dining Experience Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste. Facilities & Ambience Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate. The One Minor Quirk I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm. Final Thoughts What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish. I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions? Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned."

"The hotel boasts an ideal location, just a short walk from Taksim Square, shopping malls, and restaurants. Our room was spacious and came with two beds. It was well-equipped with towels, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, glasses, cutlery, plates, and a kettle. The room itself was clean and tidy. I highly recommend this establishment."
