Seaview Hotels in Istanbul

"Very nice overall. Location is convenient. Overall the attractions around the area and the hustle bustle is attractive. The 5th floor room with Seaview is a delight. Cleanliness is OK too. Breakfast is quite filling. Staff are all helpful. And they guide with some decent boat tour bookings... *********** doesn't seem to have the best rooms on their site. For instance I needed a 4 bed with Seaview, but they had just a 3 bed showing. Ermir at the reception then upgraded me on arrival for an additional fee. Thanks! However, please be aware the big drawback is the food in this area. It seems all restaurants offer the same exact menu and at the same exorbitant prices. The food portions are really very small, leaving one only half full. They charge for everything, even the sauces and dips. This was very surprising to us as we had had a different impression of Turkish food and hospitality. Quite disappointing really. In the end, the best value for money was McDonald's!"

"Upon check-in, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink. The room and bathroom are very spacious. Every evening they would come by to bring fresh towels, accompanied by a card and a chocolate on the pillow. The staff is very helpful."

"For my stay, I faced a problem with the bathroom. The bathtub was blocked and all the water go out the bathroom so I asked to solve the problem and unfortunately they forgot to see it until I came back in night they send someone in the midnight to fix it,"

"Amazing location, super close to the tram station which takes you all over Istanbul (you will have to walk up hills) so I would not recommend it if you have mobility problems. We originally booked the budget room which was not available when we arrived so the hotel arranged for us to go to another hotel down the road which was a horrible hotel and room. The next day they brought our suitcases and luggage to Seven Days hotel and upgraded our room which was very nice of them. You don’t have any tea and coffee available in the rooms so will have to purchase that extra. This is a great hotel if you’re looking for simple place to stay with a good location. "

"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Istiklal Avenue. It's close to the metro station and attractions. The hotel entrance is a bit hidden. I recommend staying in a sea view room, preferably facing the 5006 direction. If you're looking to save some money, a standard room is fine too; the breakfast is on the top floor and offers an even better view than the sea view rooms. The room itself was a little small and felt a bit cramped. However, it was very clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. There were a few minor issues: the bathroom door handle and various corners throughout the room were quite sharp and could easily cause scratches, so you need to be careful."

"Don't choose Block C! Don't choose Block C! Don't choose Block C! But only Block C has a kitchen! If you absolutely have to choose it, pick a floor above the 3rd! Below the 3rd floor, it's all chimney smoke!!! The hotel is divided into three blocks, A, B, and C. Only A and B are in one building, while Block C is in a separate building outside the main hotel. All the staff, except for the front desk and cleaning staff who at least crack a smile, are incredibly unhelpful. If you're struggling with luggage or shopping, or can't carry things, they have no intention of assisting you. Especially the security guards in Block C! They're like mannequins or something! You need to swipe your card to enter Block C, and if you're carrying luggage and other items, it's impossible to get your room card out. They just sit there on their phones, watching you! Why would the boss pay so much just to hire a bunch of people like this?"

"We found the price reasonable and the location is good, walking distance to all the local attractions/sites and feels safe. Staff were fine, not exceptional and not terrible. We had a street view room and was no sound proofing. We could hear everything from outside and although we stayed on a Thursday and Friday night we didn't appreciate hearing music playing until 1am from the restaurant and loud voices. Alongside this we heard people going up and down stairs, the room next door (not loud just because walls have poor insulation) We didn't get good sleep either night and didn't like the lack of privacy with sound. It would be great if a solution could be implemented to improve sound reduction and also offering water or tea on arrival, extending Turkish Hospitality that is often spoken about. If you're a deep sleeper or a night person, this would be suitable."
