EL Nido Hotels with Gym

"I really liked the hotel and the beach itself. There are sun loungers, showers, toilets, and a small pool within the glamping area. Vendors aren't allowed on the property, so you won't be bothered. It can be a bit noisy in the room in the evenings/at night due to nature sounds – some might not like it, but we found it pleasant to fall asleep to. The mountain view from the room is beautiful, but if you look down, it's a bit of a swamp and a parking lot – not so great. Breakfasts are modest, machine coffee costs extra, and the fruits and vegetables are bland (except for the mango). Food and drink prices aren't cheap, but everything is good quality. Right outside the fence on the beach, there are several cafes, shops, and massage places. Upon check-in, we received some welcome gifts: 2 bottles of water, apples, nuts, instant noodles, and a shell necklace! And upon check-out, we got some small pastries. Transfers to/from El Nido airport or to the town center cost 1800 PHP for a minivan. Pros: Large, nice-looking rooms, plenty of towels, spotless white linens. Cons: Weak shower pressure, no handheld showerhead (only a rain shower), and no place to dry clothes."

"The hotel's location pretty much forces you to rent a scooter; the closest beach, Vanilla Beach, is a 20-minute walk away. In 2026, the hotel was undergoing constant renovation noise. There's absolutely no soundproofing. The highway is right outside the windows, so motorcycles and trucks will keep you from getting any sleep. There were tiny ants running on the table in the room. On the bright side, the air conditioning in the room was good and quiet. They only provide two bars of soap, no shampoo, shower gel, or conditioner. There's a kettle, but no tea or coffee. The white bed linen was excellent. The renovation is new, but the shower was very poorly done. Housekeeping is only every other day and upon request, and they don't change the towels. I also want to mention the gym; it looks good in photos, but in reality, all the treadmills are broken, and the air conditioning in the gym doesn't work."

"The hotel looks nice from the outside, but everything inside felt dirty and poorly maintained. Initially, we were put in a room overlooking vents and a noisy street, even though we had specifically requested a quiet room when booking. The hotel was accommodating and moved us to a different room. However, I have to say, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear everything happening outside very clearly. Especially the motorcycles going by and the rooster crowing in the mornings! The cleaning was terrible – everything was dusty and grimy. And they'll only clean your room if you remember to hang the 'make up room' sign on the door. Breakfast was a letdown; the selection was very limited. The cheese was awful and clearly the cheapest kind. There was no cold cuts or ham. Breakfasts here felt more like lunch or dinner. You're better off going to local cafes for breakfast. On the positive side, the location is good, and the pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view. This hotel might be suitable for a short stay, but definitely keep the aforementioned issues in mind."

"A little slice of luxury. Amazing clean rooms and pool. We didn’t have hot water but it was sorted quickly! Scooter hire is expensive here (compared with outside) but necessary to get around. The hotel has a transfer bus but times are limited to morning and evening. Breakfast was great. Dinner was good (expensive compared with outside as understand in hotel). If you order the pork, it’s like a starter portion so bear in mind."

"Great place with helpful staff! Rooms with balconies👍🏻 Restaurant by the pool offers delicious pizza, but some other dishes were not that perfect. The only weird thing is the window between the room and bathroom (I’ll add a picture), no privacy at all! But overall I’d highly recommend this place because of affordable price and good location!"

"Nice breakfast from 6am, clean room, good air conditioner, not very noisy sounds outside. There is safe in the room. Huge nice mirrors in the room. A dirty sheet with old marks that can no longer be washed. The second elevator is dirty and look older. It's a little humid in the room, so I have to ventilate. Pool look a little strange, not comfortable to relax because of view and location. The gym is not bad, little, but enough for worm up. Actually near El Nido are some gyms for good price. Internet connection (WiFi) preferably is good."

"We had an amazing stay at Seda Lio! Special thanks to the Front Office Supervisor and FO staff for making sure everything about our vacation went smoothly. They were very attentive and considerate, always ready to attend to our requests even going beyond what we expected. All praises to the staff for their warmth and professionalism. The room was spotless, smelled fresh, and gave us complete comfort throughout our stay. Breakfast was really good delicious and with great value for money. Overall, Seda Lio exceeded our expectations, and we truly appreciate the excellent service. ALSO SPECIAL THANKS TO SIR FLORENTINO VERO. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come back!"

"Cute bungalows on a remote island. However, we had to wait for 1:40hr for our lunch, and the buffet which cost almost a 1000 pesos ran out of food and had very limited vegetarian options. Most of the ”community” vibe was greatly diminished due to about 20 people from a tour group that already knew each other showed up, which created a very segregated feeling. We also had some form of animal poop all over our bed, which the staff just tried to explain away as dirt from the roof. We had to convince them to give us a new room. Plus points for them helping out and arranging a transfer for the clothes we forgot on the island!"

"Got a free room upgrade upon check in.. The view from the sky lounge/pool deck is spectacular. You get free bottled water (1L) everyday... Breakfast is good with variety of options. They offer transfers to and from Hotel- Town if you want to save ₱150."

"This is a bit of a special place. The hotel is right at its own private beach. It‘s very isolated from everything else which can be nice if you don‘t want to leave the hotel at all. We wanted to go to the town some evenings and that is a bit of a challenge. You first have to take a golf car (which only runs until 10pm) and then change into a tricycle. The tricycles won‘t go directly to the hotel because the last bit of the road is too steep and winded. The other option is to walk along the beach for 20 minutes instead of using the golf car for the last bit, which we did a couple of times. It‘s not too dangerous but there are stray dogs. The food in the hotel restaurant was Italian and just ok, nothing amazing. The service was not great. Two women seem to know how to run a hotel but the rest of the staff were rather useless. They often seemed annoyed, even when we were just ordering food. We once asked about the zipline that is literally next door and they didn‘t know anything about it (price, time, how to get there). They organised a tour for us, which was great, but messed up the booking somehow so the tour guide thought we were only two people instead of four, which resulted in less food for lunch. And then they even charged us more for the tour. Our room was fine. Clean and no bugs. Yes, you can hear everything but we didn‘t mind that. The room was only made up on request though. The whole area is beautiful but there were a few things that annoyed us. So I wouldn‘t come back."
