"Location in downtown Baltimore was excellent, a block from the Convention Center, across the street from a subway station and 2 blocks from a light rail station - subway runs east-west ( including the Inner Harbor) and light rail runs north-south for over 40 miles with 1/2 hour direct connection to/from the BWI Airport. - one way tickets on both are $2. My corner room on the 9th floor was spacious with good views. I had business all afternoon in the area with no car - when I asked if I could check my luggage 4 hours before check-in time, they actually checked me in then and there and gave me my room key at noon. The lobby is elegant and the the room rate was very reasonable for a downtown location hotel."

The Convention Center and Oriole Park are just 5 minutes away, and there’s great dining right outside our doors. If you need suggestions on local favorites and must-see spots while you’re here, just ask our friendly staff.
"Staying in this dangerous city was unsettling. Parking is across the street, and the overnight fee is $25. The front desk was generally friendly, but the free breakfast was minimal. The luxurious ocean view photos on the homepage don't reflect the hotel at all, so be prepared. The free coffee at the wet bar was delicious, though!
The room was very clean, but it had an expensive alarm clock that was incredibly frustrating. The previous guest had set it to 6 p.m., and it kept going off, preventing us from getting a good night's sleep. The soundproofing on the windows was also mediocre, and the roar of cars was a constant. The supermarket chain here suggests the city's overall affordability and wealth are low. The crime rate is reportedly quite high. I recommend stopping by for seafood; there's no need to stay here!"

"The hotel staff is exceptionally kind from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The location is a few blocks from the harbor and located next to Lexington Market. The breakfast was good with a waffle machine, eggs, sausage, yummy oatmeal with a wide variety of add-inns. Blueberry compote and candied pecans were my favorites. The room is spacious and clean with comfy beds and pillows. Overall I definitely would recommend. It's was a great price for the service. Newly renovated!"

"Overall satisfied.
The hotel felt safe and has a nice vibe. Location is in a less sketchy part of downtown, although I wouldn’t necessarily go for a night walk in the area. Conveniently located to some surrounding attractions like the Inner Harbor and Lexington Market.
The room was spotless clean. The maintenance could be improved as there were some broken closet doors and holes in the wall. I informed the friendly staff and they told me they were aware. Other than that, well equipped and everything was there and working.
Cleaning is not daily and depends on the length of your stay. However, if you needed anything you can ask and it could be provided.
The breakfast buffet was okay, nothing special. There was a limited, but enough options. For fresh fruits they only had red apples, every day.
The bar was closed for lunch during my stay.
They had a small business area with a computer and a printer for guests.
The gym was well equipped.
The staff were friendly, welcoming and you can tell everyone was trying to make the guests have a nice experience.
I would consider and return."

"Overall it was ok, after all the price was not cheap. But the service attitude was really bad, they spoke in a low voice, and they were unwilling to answer me when I asked again. The next day I asked the front desk to help me book a car to the airport. I booked it for 6:50 the night before, but when I went there at this time in the morning, the same front desk said that I didn't tell them just now, so I thought I didn't want it, and then I had to wait for 22 minutes again, and the price was twice as much as the taxi we took from the airport!"

"The hotel is very good, very clean, very quiet, the room is big, and there is a kitchen where you can cook. The only downside is that towels and other toiletries, garbage, etc. have to be placed at the door of the room by yourself, and the cleaners do not come in to clean. To change towels, you have to talk to the front desk before changing them. breakfast is also good"

Great
RRickAh, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel.
The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes.
The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk.
A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out.
Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember.
In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
BBeijiquannanfangThe room is big, the bathroom is also big, the location is excellent, but the surrounding environment is average. There is no self-owned parking lot, but the doorman can park the car at a nearby public parking lot, and can also pick up the car for you. There is a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, kitchenware and tableware, and the facilities are good.
The disadvantage is that it is a bit old.
杨杨It is a very nice hotel. The front desk service is very good. Hotel parking is also very convenient. It is very good to buy parking tickets after check-in. The only thing that is not so good is that the sound insulation is not so good. Overall it is still very good. The location is also OK. There are many food and luxury shops nearby.
FFENFENThe service is not bad, the front desk is very welcoming, let them forward the courier and email reminder, very good service. The environment is a little bit worse, and the road is on the side, and the location is not very good.
LLINLINThe overall hardware environment is good, but after paying the room fee on my online, the offline deduction is repeated, and it took me at least 10 days to communicate and coordinate. The relationship is too complicated, including Ctrip, foreign agents, hotels. It has not been solved so far, it is a headache!
PPrinceHotel is located in center of Baltimore the front desk was excellent very helpful with our check in and luggage storage on checkout. I will definitely recommend this hotel and come back.
XXUThe location is a bit biased and suitable for renting a car. There is no place to eat around, but I feel that the restaurant is good, there are meals at 11 o'clock in the evening. The standard American breakfast is quite rich. The hotel bed seems to be quite tight and needs to be booked in advance. The room and its supplies are also good and worth recommending.
GGuest UserThe hotel is strategically located and safe, close to Baltimore's inner harbor, with beautiful scenery, high-end business buildings and historical attractions nearby, and it is particularly beautiful to walk at night.
A typical American breakfast, not many varieties, eggs, bread and fruit are absolutely full, and the waiter is particularly good. Every Wednesday night, you can enjoy a free dinner, providing rare vegetable salad, unexpected joy. Free coffee and hot water available 24 hours a day in the lobby.
Room service did not provide face towels one day, and under the communication of Ctrip customer service, there was a lot of improvement in the next few days. One night, the toilet was suddenly blocked, but the floor service staff and maintenance staff came to dredge in time, and did not affect the residence. Overall, it is recommended to live.
GGuest UserThis hotel is just across the road from the convention center. It was clean, safe, friendly and had every amenity I was looking for. I had to book very last minute after a cancellation elsewhere and was thrilled to get a clean, nicely air conditioned room with everything I needed. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to Baltimore
