"We stayed at this hotel for the first time in 2013 and the second time in 2025. Nothing has changed much, and we were happy with our stay.
Pros:
- the guy with the cart who delivers guests' luggage from the pier to the hotel helped us a lot, we arrived with suitcases and bags, it was hard to walk in the heat, he also helped us get to the pier on the way back - it's free,
- it's not far to walk from the Tonsai pier, not far from the sea on the other side of the island, I advise you to walk to the fire show just to the left of the hotel and along the shore,
- they gave us a spacious three-bed room, with a comfortable large double bed and a wide 1.5 double bed, the bathroom is freshly renovated, the shower has good pressure of warm water, gel, shampoo, everything is there.
- beach towels and towels for the pool can be taken from the souvenir seller on the first floor, they are freely available, without an appointment.
- the pool is quite large, but chlorinated, because the hotel has a large flow of tourists every day
- monkeys came to visit us on the balcony, although it is written that you can't feed them, but it is very interesting to look at them up close
Cons:
- every day a huge flow of tourists comes from one-day excursions for lunch, these are crowds in the dining room, 300-500 people by the feel
- the 7-11 minimarket is far away, others are closer, but there is no alcohol and the prices are a little more expensive,
- there is a lot of food in the dining room, but everything is not particularly tasty, cold potatoes and eggs, but fruits, pastries, vegetables are always available.
In general, I liked everything, the staff is great, they wash, scrub, cook everything, there is a steamer at the reception, you can iron things, there is a cafe Little Monkey nearby, we ate there several times, we took Hawaiian pizza, we liked it, it was delicious."
