Phi Phi Islands Hotels with Balcony

"A nice hotel that’s really close to the beach at the back of the place. Unfortunately we didn’t have good experiences with the food or the service. For example at breakfast they served shrimp fried rice with the poop sack still attached and a lot of flies were around the fruit in the mornings. Also the day before we were due to leave I had one of the house keeping staff drop an iron off at my room. Without hearing an answer came into my room and opened the bathroom door where I was showering. I had music on at the time so I’ve no idea happened and I asked her to leave immediately. I went to the door a minute later to get the iron and she also left a set of keys with me- no idea why or why yay they were for but she appeared 2 hours later asking for them so I hope they weren’t for the surrounding rooms! The view from the pool at the back and the fruit shakes were really good but I wouldn’t stay here again"

"I hate to leave negative reviews, but unfortunately I have to in this case. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach, and if you don’t encounter the problem I did, it would be a wonderful place to stay. My room had an issue every morning where hundreds of black flies would appear. I’m not sure where they came from, but as soon as I woke up and turned on a light, they would start arriving inside the room and swarming around the light fitting. I bought a can of Baygon spray, treated the room, then went out for an hour before coming back to clean everything up myself. Once the sunshine outside became brighter than the light inside, the flies would disappear. They only came in the early morning. Perhaps it was only this particular room in the main block that had the problem, and I was simply unlucky to be assigned it."

"Stayed here on Koh Phi Phi during Chinese New Year. Its biggest advantage is the location, right by the pier, which made getting on and off the ferry with luggage incredibly convenient. I booked a sea-view room and the view was fantastic, very pleasant to look at. The room was quite clean, though the amenities were pretty basic. The price was definitely on the high side during the New Year period, so the value for money wasn't great, but overall I was quite satisfied with my stay."

"A large room with a spacious bathroom, cold air conditioning, and a strong hot water shower. A kettle, coffee, and complimentary water were also provided. The hotel has a pool, although I didn’t have time to use it. The location is right in the centre of Tonsai, making it convenient for everything while still being quiet enough in the evenings. The only downside was that the internet wasn’t working during this visit, which was disappointing."

"A beautiful hotel with a naturalistic style – both the rooms and the grounds. Good breakfasts, and the town center is within walking distance (the path isn't for the lazy, but you can also take a boat for 100 baht). There's a small private beach, a couple of almost deserted tiny beaches, and Long Beach (the descent to it is quite steep, but there are ropes). This is one of the best spots on the island for snorkeling and observing reef sharks. There are downsides, but they're not critical – the tap water is salty and bitter, and boats constantly whiz by, creating a lot of noise, but you get used to it. We didn't see any monkeys at the hotel, but there were plenty of cats, and they're fed here, which is great. Mosquitoes weren't a big bother either."

"This is a fabulous place to stay. It’s tucked away in the corner of a beautiful beach so it’s peaceful and chilled but still walking distance (5mins) to the main shops, cafes, bars and harbour of PhiPhi. The bamboo huts are very solid and appeared to be really well sealed so no bugs getting in and excellent at holding the cool air from the air conditioner inside. Very comfy bed, soft bed linen, good pillows, bathrobes, bottled water and good quality toiletries all provided. Gorgeous bathroom with great showers. Welcome drink and snacks provided in the room. The breakfast buffet was incredible- so much choice and everything was delicious. We also ate lunch here one day and dinner here one night and both were delicious, The swim up pool bar was a real treat with happy hour 2 for one cocktails from 3-5 as well as delicious smoothies ice cream and made to order sushi available. The pool is stunning of with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool towels supplied. Also possible to hire canoes and stand up paddle boards to take out on the bay. (1 hour included for free for all guests). The staff were lovely at all times. A delight to deal with at all times. Lastly yes you can hear the noise from the bar across the bay in the evenings from 10 to 2:30 am but the resort supplies ear plugs and we all slept perfectly fine every night. If you are sensitive to noise maybe bring some noise blocking ear plugs but don’t let that be the reason you miss out on staying in this stunning resort."

"Phi Phi Island is great for couples and singles alike! There are bikini-clad beauties everywhere – a real feast for the eyes. The nights are incredibly lively, with bustling bars and exciting beach performances. 😊 The service at Phi Phi Anita is excellent, especially the hotel staff who helped us with our luggage all the way to the boat. The hotel breakfast was also very good, probably the only decent meal we had as most places on the island serve Western food, which my elderly family members weren't used to. Remember to bring plenty of cash! Besides 7-Eleven, pretty much everything else on the island is cash-only!!!!"

"The service was excellent; the staff were always willing to help. I really appreciated being able to leave my luggage for a few hours after check-out. My room was clean, well-ventilated, and smelled lovely. Everyone was very kind and friendly."

"Upon arrival, things got off to a bit of a rough start. Room 210, while advertised with a sea view, had a very limited one, which wasn't a huge deal. The most unpleasant part was the leaky pipe by the toilet. My request to switch rooms with the front desk wasn't successful. After adjusting my mindset and accepting it, it was fine—the water was clean anyway, and I was there to relax, so no need to dwell on it. However, I do recommend the hotel renovates soon, otherwise, it's a waste of such a beautiful location. Summary: 1. The facilities are indeed old. The exterior looks okay, but the interior is too basic. Friends accustomed to five-star hotels might find it hard to adapt. I had to comfort my child and convince myself, but once I accepted it, it was fine. 2. If you want a true, unobstructed sea view room, be sure to communicate with the hotel beforehand. Only rooms starting with '1' will do. The higher the room number, the higher up the hill it is, so be prepared for a cardio workout every time you head back to your room. 3. The service was generally good. I didn't feel any prejudice or mistreatment towards Chinese guests. The porters who helped with luggage were the best. 4. Cat lovers will overlook all the negatives and fall in love with this place, just like my son. He initially complained about everything, but after bribing many cats with cat food to hang out on our balcony, he was very sad to leave."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding."
