The room was super spacious, about 40 square meters, and the bathroom was also large, over 10 square meters. There were two balconies on each side, each nearly 10 square meters, offering spectacular sunrise and sunset views and the entire magnificent sea view. The mountain scenery was delightful. The cleanliness was excellent, and they even provided disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors, which is rare in Thailand. The stay was fantastic. The front desk lady was also very helpful, fluent in English, and spoke a little Chinese. We weren't charged extra for our child. I'm sure she'll be able to provide full Chinese service next time! We'll most likely choose this place again when we visit Koh Phi Phi. The kids' playground wasn't fully open, but the big slide looked great.

Unfortunately, when I booked, there wasn't a single room available for 4 days. So, I had to buy two different rooms.
While planning my vacation, we decided to take my 10-year-old child with us.
The first was a bungalow in the garden. I've written a review before: very cool and cozy Thai-style houses, wooden themselves, and all the furniture is wooden.
The second room was supposed to be in a two-story building with two rooms, but due to the hotel policy, it wasn't designed for three people. We were accommodated in a large stone building at the end of the hotel. This large building, on a hill, has four rooms, each with its own large balcony. To be honest, we were initially disappointed, but the room turned out to be very clean, recently renovated, with a powerful, well-positioned air conditioner and beautiful wooden furniture. Unlike the bungalow, the walls and floors aren't wooden, but it's very cozy. And if you have a slight tsunami phobia, I understand this building was built for evacuation, just in case.
And the view from the balcony: if you look down, there are water tanks, a pretty average view, but if you look into the distance, you get a view of the garden and the sea, which the bungalows don't offer.
The breakfasts are delicious: seafood, omelets, pastries, coffee...
The staff is friendly.
The only downside is the lack of toothbrushes.

Guest UserI had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal.
I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable.
Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data.
Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common.
The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand.
The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon.
The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets.
Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

First, the pros:
– Convenient location – close to the ferry.
– Friendly staff: they helped carry our luggage and allowed us to check in early.
Now, the cons:
– The hotel is clearly in need of renovation.
– We were given a windowless room, despite windows being shown in the photos. It was very difficult to be in the room without natural light.
– The air conditioning didn't work properly: it blew hot then cold air intermittently.
– The bed was uncomfortable.
– The spoons in the room were so old and tarnished that they were unpleasant to use – we didn't even bother making coffee.
– The toilet seat was yellowed with age.
We're not picky people, but unfortunately, we were disappointed this time.

It's fine for a couple of days.
But we didn't like Phi Phi itself. We went for relaxation and a beautiful sea, but instead, it was overcrowded, the sea wasn't very clean, and there was constant noise from motorboats.
The hotel rooms were tired, and we saw cockroaches.
Breakfast from the restaurant had a beautiful view, and the selection was limited, but everything was sufficient and delicious.
If you want to arrange a transfer upon arrival, contact the hotel directly via WhatsApp, as the TripCom chat was lengthy and unproductive.

Guest UserThe hotel isn't bad! Just a question about the cleanliness of the pool 🤔. Nearby there are beautiful streets! It's about a 15-minute walk to the fire show! Also not far from the observation deck! There are many longtail boats on the shore, you can arrange with a captain to take a ride for an extra fee. Overall, it's a good option for 1-2 nights! It's a 10-minute walk from the pier where the ferry arrives.

The hotel is nice, very clean with a good location and very good facilities, it has two pools and one is located at the rooftop with very nice views. The only bad thing was on the breakfast buffet were the cooker refuse to prepare scrambled eggs with fresh eggs, he insisted in a rude way that the mix for the omelette made with milk, salt and butter was the same as fresh eggs. I have to complain with two manager just to have a simple breakfast. To be honest it was a very bad service, a very bad experience and that guy just ruined the mood for the whole day, I will definitely not recommend this hotel if you don’t want that someone just ruin your experience by being rude and impolite

The best hotel in Thailand. We suffered for the first 3 night in another hotel on Phi Phi and we couldn’t sleep coz of the loud noises from the beach parties but then we moved to U Rip and it was th best decision ever - clean, new, SILENCE, nice pool and great area far from the parties. But still accessible coz it is like 15 min walk. Totally recommend especially if you are a light sleeper 👌
