"An impressive hotel - I’ve never stayed 10 floors up before. The only real problem I had were the lights. There seemed to be a switch for each one, but not a switch that would switch them off. So going to sleep necessitated pulling the card out of its holder to get the room completely dark. Also not having trays at breakfast meant getting up and down much more than one word experience in a normal hotel. But apart from that, it was beautifully clean. And very close to transport links."

"Hotel was clean, close to metro and all the key attractions. Reception staff were very nice as well. The room was really lovely and spacious. Well cleaned every day we stayed. The AC worked perfectly.Only downside is they have very limited breakfast options. Breakfast ends 10:30am and if you are still eating at that time even though you have taken all you need, the staff makes you feel uncomfortable, lurking around and taking any empty plate they see off you while you are still eating maybe because they are looking to close in time. At times, If some food items finishes some minutes before 10:30am, they don’t get refilled too."

"The hotel is very conveniently located, right at the Barcelona Sants station where there is a direct train to the airport. The room has tea/coffee making facilities, and there was a bottle of water per person as well. Check-in and check-out were friendly and efficient. It would be nice if the room has more lights but we would happily stay there again."

"The sea view has a sth in the middle that blocked the view, but so far it’s a good view with yachts (if the weather is good). Pretty far from everything related to business. We had a hard time traveling every day to city centre as business traveller, but uber is cheap here so it’s ok. Very leisure traveller, i think it’s a good hotel. For breakfast I think it’s more cost effective to book here on app. It’s much more expensive to pay at the hotel. Breakfast is good here."

"The hotel is in a great area close to the city centre and shopping Square and also close to the Metro and bus lines. The staff are very nice and amenities are good. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe in this hotel especially because it’s a LGBTQ+ but hetero friendly hotel. The beds are comfortable just be aware that the shower is see-through so if you’re sharing you will likely see the person taking a shower. The pool was also very nice for chilling in after a very long day of exploring. Just be careful of removing anything in the minibar. I removed some of the things and placed them on the table because I wanted to use the fridge to put my food and drinks that I bought myself . I unfortunately almost got charged for the things that I removed from the mini bar fridge even though I hadn’t consumed them. I did however explain to the receptionist that I returned all the drinks in the mini bar as I hadn’t consumed them.Overall I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and will definitely stay here again."

He is very kind and considerate to provide useful information and explain everything around. A lovely vacation with the professional staff."

"First off, a huge shout-out to the service! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful. The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect. Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on. All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!"
