"The place is beautiful and the reception staff are wonderful, but it lacks two things. Firstly, the air conditioning needs to be changed. It's a split unit, not central, and it's quite noisy in the room. Secondly, the smoke detector needs to be replaced. Its flashing light is very annoying when the lights are off, especially since it's directly above the bed, making it hard to sleep well – it's like someone is constantly flashing a light in your eyes.
My final and most important observation concerns the buffet, specifically the person preparing breakfast items like fried eggs. His attitude is bad, and his demeanor is even worse. When I asked him to make me eggs, he ignored me and treated me as if the eggs were coming out of his own pocket. It took me asking him more than twice before he finally made them, and he did it very begrudgingly."
"I had high expectations for Habitas, especially considering the price point, but unfortunately the service did not live up to it.
First, communication was a recurring issue. Several staff members, particularly at the reception, were not fluent in English, which led to multiple instances of miscommunication and incorrect information. For a property that caters to international guests, it is essential to have front desk staff who can communicate clearly and confidently in English.
The experience at Tama Restaurant was even more disappointing. One of the male staff members was noticeably rude. We were presented with the bill even though we had not requested it, which felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Additionally, when my friend, who had just finished swimming, was told she could not sit because she was wet, no alternative solution was offered. No bathrobe, no towel, no assistance. She was effectively expected to stand while eating. When this was raised, there was no apology or sense of accountability.
For the price charged, the level of service falls significantly short. Compared to other luxury properties such as Banyan Tree, where the staff are consistently warm and attentive, the difference in hospitality is very noticeable.
Habitas has beautiful surroundings, but service is what defines a true luxury experience. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during our stay."
"A truly magical stay! The caravan set in the middle of AlUla’s mountains is a unique and beautiful experience I absolutely loved it. The staff were super nice and helpful, and the food was good (though a bit pricey).
A few small downsides: the AC in the caravan was quite loud, the room wasn’t very dark during the day, and it would be great to have a pool directly by the caravan instead of having to go to the main hotel, which is about 10 minutes away by car and golf cart. Also, during my two visits to the pool, I stayed for around two hours each time and no staff or bartender came by to ask if we wanted to order drinks.
Overall, despite these small issues which didn’t affect me much, it was a magical and memorable experience I’d definitely recommend it and hope to come back again one day."

"Banyan Tree AlUla is an unforgettable desert escape. The tented villas are huge and private (plunge pool optional), set among jaw-dropping rock formations. Service is excellent, and the atmosphere is pure luxury. It's eye-wateringly expensive and remote, but for a special occasion, it's absolutely worth it."

"The location and facilities are excellent. The only issue we faced was on the first night when the electricity went out at midnight for half an hour, then came back on, and two hours later, it went out again for five minutes. It was a difficult situation because we didn't know what was happening, and the front desk was far from our room, plus the phone was disconnected with the power outage. We received an apology message from the hotel manager along with a small cake. Other than that, honestly, the hotel is beyond amazing, and the breakfast is seven-star. The services are also worth experiencing, and we got a competitive price from the website, better than the hotel's direct price and other sites."

"The most amazing place to stay in Al Ula, especially if you wants to enjoying true Glamping Pod experience with, it was an amazing experience walking in the farm, having fresh oranges and guavas, limes & Barrie's grape fruit, mountain climbing, buggy riding and stars gazing in the night.
The restaurant is just basic but the chef cooked delicious breakfast with yummiest cappuccino to kick start a perfect day, special thanks to Mr. Youssef, he is indeed a great person and one man army who will go an extra mile to make your stay extra special and unforgettable, will definitely stay here again if we got the chance to visit Al ULa again."
