"I'm a solo traveller, but booked a double room. It was super cheap in early May, so it made sense to me.
The bedroom was quite spacious. And had a built in wardrobe with safe, a desk, balcony and separate shower room/toilet. There was a small fridge which helped keep my water cool. The tap water tasted chemically and research says it's best to drink bottled water. Aldi is 5 minutes walk away and the water was very cheap.
I didn't check the facilities of the hotel, so I can't comment, but everywhere I went was clean and presentable.
I did have dinner one evening, which was a lot of different Euro foods. It was pretty good quality, but I would have eaten elsewhere if it wasn't raining. I think it changes daily.
You're five minutes walk away from the beach. You can just about see the sea from the hotel. I was only on floor #2 so it might be better higher up.
Can Picafort is around 90 minutes from the airport and Palma by bus. It was filled with cyclists, despite not having many dedicated cycle lanes.
The beach is nice with decent places to eat.
Many of the guests were German. Not a bad thing, but I didn't hear many fellow Brits to have a conversation with. The staff spoke great English though and were very helpful."
