"Just one train stop from Kansai Airport, and a quick walk across the connecting bridge gets you there. I stayed here for a night because I had a late flight. The hotel is a bit old, and you can definitely tell the facilities are dated, but it was actually quite clean. The size was perfect for one person, but it would be cramped for two. I added breakfast, and it was pretty good with a decent variety – my stomach was too small to try everything, but a few bites filled me up. The hotel is close to Rinku Park and the Outlet Mall, so you can take a stroll before checking out in the morning."

"I saw the weather forecast predicted rain and snow, and I was worried about JR delays affecting my flight, so I booked a night at Hotel Nikko. When I booked, I read reviews saying it was a bit old and dated, but it exceeded my expectations! The hotel is absolutely fantastic, it must have been recently renovated. It connects seamlessly to the terminal, and the toiletries are POLA. There's a Lawson convenience store right outside, and plenty of dining options inside the terminal. It's especially perfect for late arrivals and early departures. Next time I visit Kansai, I won't worry about late flights anymore. Hotel Nikko is truly awesome! 👍"

"Traveling with kids, we booked a family room, which was essentially two standard rooms connected by a door. This made it super convenient for the kids to run between rooms and play, while the adults still had their own private space without disturbing each other. The rooms weren't overly spacious but were well-arranged and kept spotlessly clean. It was easy to get around from the hotel, and we had a very comfortable stay. A small point to note is that there's a step up to the bathroom, so kids need to be careful not to trip. Overall, the value for money was excellent."

"This hotel is really great. It's about 300 meters from the subway station. To the left of the hotel, about 300-400 meters away, is the Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters – super convenient if you're a Conan fan and want to visit! A little further on is Osaka Castle Park, which is a lovely walk. The room was clean and not small; two 26-inch suitcases could lie flat. The front desk staff spoke English, were very patient, and communication was seamless. It seems to be a church-affiliated hotel, as many Europeans and Americans were staying there. They even have complimentary samples like facial cleanser and face cream at the front desk, which is a nice touch."

"Clean and good location. It's my first time in Osaka. Mostly I just walk to most of the tourist spots. There are multiple train stations within walking distance. Also, the best is that, the limousine bus from the airport does make a stop nearby this hotel. The room is spacious. Multiple convenience stores around. The 7 Eleven is just right next to the hotel. Awesome. Highly recommend."

"Completely exceeded my expectations! The lobby decor is grand yet cozy 🏡, and the bellhop was super enthusiastic about helping with luggage 🧳. "The location is excellent; Namba Walk is right downstairs, and the airport limousine bus stop is next door. The room is also quite spacious. If I had to pick one inconvenience, it would be the long queue for check-in at 3 PM, which caused a slight delay, but everything else was fine. The staff were very polite, especially the uncle who helped store luggage."

"This is one of the few hotels in Japan with a 12 PM checkout, which is great. There's a Christmas tree downstairs that adds a lovely atmosphere. We went to the theme park on our second day, and this hotel is the closest one to it – the entrance is right downstairs! Food options are also very convenient. I highly recommend the fried beef cutlet, it was absolutely delicious! Our clothes got soaked on the Jurassic ride, which was totally unexpected, but thankfully we could just pop back to the hotel to change. You just need to get a stamp from the staff at the entrance to re-enter the park. I hope to bring my kids here next time and will definitely stay here again!"

The location is absolutely phenomenal! A shopper's paradise! Major malls and flagship stores are right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get all your favorite items in one go!
The rooms are incredibly spacious! In Japan, where space is a premium, the InterContinental's rooms feel like a true luxury. We booked a king room and even added an extra bed, and it still didn't feel cramped at all! The bathroom was also large and bright, and being able to lie down and gaze at Osaka's vibrant cityscape made it absolutely worth it!
The service was exceptionally thoughtful! From check-in to check-out, every single staff member was polite, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. The front desk, housekeeping, concierge... even the parking and luggage storage services were absolutely faultless!
When checking out, they even proactively offered to weigh my luggage. The most delightful surprise was when a staff member wished me ”Gong Xi Fa Cai” in Chinese – it felt so incredibly welcoming!
It truly proved to be a brilliant choice to stay at InterContinental Osaka! Next time I'm in Osaka, I'm definitely booking this place again!

CcartrinaThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to the JR exit and on the Universal Studios shopping street. Highly recommended for those who want to be right at the entrance. I took the Kansai Airport bus directly to Universal Studios, and it was a short, convenient walk to the hotel from the drop-off point.
The hotel service was great, and the room was very clean and cozy. From the room, I could overlook Universal Studios and the distant ocean.
Although the room was small, it was fully equipped; even with two suitcases, it didn't feel cramped. The bathroom amenities were extensive, surprisingly including toner, makeup remover, astringent, and body lotion, plus a very effective hair straightener! So thoughtful!
The room decor was exactly as shown in the Ctrip photos.
Strongly recommend this to families and individuals visiting Universal Studios!

Environment: The location is incredibly convenient. It's a 2-minute walk to Osaka Station Central Plaza, and there are 7-Eleven and Lawson convenience stores nearby. Yodobashi Camera is just one block away, making it perfect for shopping!
Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy, excellent! My room was cleaned thoroughly every day during my 6-day stay.
Service: The front desk staff are wonderful, polite, and enthusiastic! They offer luggage storage and parcel mailing services, and their attitude is fantastic.

The hotel is directly across from Parco and Daimaru department stores. The service was excellent; a staff member helped carry my luggage to the room upon check-in, and they assisted with luggage to the airport bus when I checked out. There was seamless Chinese-speaking service. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time.

It's located just 180 meters from the main entrance of Universal Studios, which is a prime location. Also, thanks to my government's restrictions on officials traveling to Japan, we non-government personnel were able to book such a luxurious hotel (a 27 sqm room, which is practically a mansion in Japan, haha!) for just over 500 RMB, even during the popular autumn leaf season. I hope my government further intensifies sanctions on Japan, so we non-government personnel can plan our next trip there! Much appreciated!

Ggtln1069I used to stay at the old Keihan Tenmabashi hotel every time, but this time I tried the Tenmabashi Station Front store. A 21-square-meter room is considered quite spacious in Japan. The separate wet and dry areas, along with a door to the bedroom, make it super convenient. The location is also a major plus, making it easy to get to Kyoto, and there's a shopping mall across the street. Everything you need for food, accommodation, and transportation is right there.

VVinzy NgGood hotel with spa with mediocre services.
The room was neat, clean and feeling new.
However, staffs are not familiar with English, not even talking Mandarin. Using the translator with poor voice input was troublesome and sometimes it interpreted wrong meanings.
Room service if missed will not be provided again on that day.
Also, there were many spa-only visitors simply lying on the spa floor.
Parts of the male spa were under construction and one night there were no 40 degree Celsius or higher pool as they were all under cleaning at the same time.
The ground of the spa was very slippery, mostly because many visitors did not bother to rinse themselves well after using the conditioner.
The breakfast buffet is good in terms of food choices and environment. But I dislike the scrambled eggs, which had a texture tasted awful.

Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet.
There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day)
Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage
Hotel Room:
We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes
But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything.
Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay
Hotel features:
Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views.
The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free.
The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day.

Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful
Overview:
100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.

I recently stayed at Serene Elegance Boutique Hotel during my trip, and the experience exceeded my expectations.
Location:
The hotel enjoys a prime location in the city center—just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. It’s surrounded by local restaurants, convenience stores, and major attractions, making it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and dining.
Check-in Experience:
The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The lobby was clean, beautifully decorated, and subtly scented, creating a relaxing atmosphere upon arrival.
Room Comfort and Amenities:
I stayed in a Deluxe King Room, which was spacious, well-lit, and tastefully designed in a modern minimalist style. The bed was extremely comfortable with crisp, clean linens. The room included high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, a mini fridge, and a kettle—everything I needed. The bathroom featured a separate shower area, strong water pressure, and high-quality toiletries.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet offered a wide range of options, from Western-style dishes to traditional local fare. There were fresh fruits, hot porridge, eggs cooked to order, and baked goods. The dining area was elegant, and the staff were attentive, often checking in to offer coffee or tea refills.

The service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. Housekeeping was thorough, and any requests were responded to promptly. The staff were always friendly and professional, adding a personal touch to the stay.
Minor Downsides:
If I had to point out one small flaw, it would be the slightly thin walls—some hallway noise was audible in the evening. However, it didn’t significantly disrupt my sleep.
