From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless—the check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and polite. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, offering great comfort after a long day. The highlight of my stay was the fantastic Christmas buffet dinner, and I can confidently say that Park Royal offers one of the best breakfasts in town—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. An added bonus was the reopening of the club within the same premises from 31st December. As a Park Royal guest, I was offered complimentary entry, which made the experience even more special. With everything nearby, excellent hospitality, and a calm atmosphere, Park Royal truly stands out. I will definitely visit again to relive these wonderful memories."

"I was worried about choosing this hotel in a hurry due to visa issues, but it was a great value for the money, and I'm grateful for the wonderful memories I had. Pros: I think it's a good place to stay for the price. It's conveniently located, close to attractions and restaurants, and the river view, temples, and sunrises and sunsets from the 9th-floor restaurant are fantastic. The rooms are spacious and clean. However, keep in mind that it's an older hotel. Not only the staff at the front desk, but all the staff were friendly and their bright smiles, true to the Mingalaba country, made me feel good. The hotel is run by a Chinese person, so there are many Chinese guests. The Chinese owner and her children were friendly and sweet, which made my stay enjoyable. The encounters with the 30- and 31-year-old Chinese travelers I met there were also precious. The hotel staff, who were all 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 25 years old, always had bright and cheerful smiles, making for a wonderful stay. Cons: Due to Myanmar's current nature, power outages and poor Wi-Fi are common. Breakfast is a mixed bag. The lobby is extremely hot due to the lack of air conditioning. The hotel itself is old, with numerous leaks and areas in need of repair. The gym is no longer there, so there are no exercise facilities. From my perspective as a developer, I can see that the Chinese owner of the rental business is working hard, but profitability issues and the uncertainties surrounding Myanmar are posing significant challenges and concerns. Conclusion: If you're looking for value and friendly staff, this hotel is a good choice. If you're looking for more amenities and greater convenience, you might want to consider another hotel. I would definitely return to this hotel. I hope the hotel improves its profitability by raising room rates, which will lead to improved employee benefits and the wealth of the owner who invested in it, ultimately leading to the hotel's continued success."

"I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — very convenient and easy to access. There are many popular food chains and restaurants nearby, so finding something to eat was never a problem. The hotel is definitely worth the money. The price matches the quality, and overall it offers great value for what you pay. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located and reasonably priced place to stay."

"Everything was very nicely arranged. Except for the pool when i came to the level where the pool should be. There was smoke everywhere around the pool and it was not a safe experience. In my observation it looked like an electroc cable was melting and causing the smoke"

"I’ve stayed many times when travelling to Myanmar. The staffs are friendly and courteous. Buffet breakfast selections also good and changes everyday. The location is also good. Very near (across the road) to a shopping mall with a bakery and grocery store. Across the road from kandawgyi lake."

"Meliá has a very good location, just opposite Inya Lake. While the interior design is simple and not very modern, the facilities and service are great. It would be nice if a sauna and jacuzzi were available and provide briefing while check in. The breakfast is amazing. I was surprised to see both a café counter and an ice cream counter during the breakfast session. However, they did not offer any complimentary service for birthday or anniversary requests."

"The check-in went real smooth and we enjoyed a good night sleep in the comfortable beds (2 queens) The walls are thin but the view we had was beautiful (room315) The hotel is 15min. to the airport but quit far from the city centre. A taxi is easy to get. The staff is very helpfull and service is great. Only the breakfast is very basic. For this kind of hotel they could offer at least fresh bread and maybe more choice of egg. Because of our early flight, they prepared a breakfast to go for us. Overall we had a good stay at Wyne hotel."

"Would stay again. Great location, close to area famous landmark by walking distance. Room need sound proof due to noise from street and near by park especially on morning. Also room key needed to be updated. Like old style bulk key chain back in the 80's . Great breakfast buffet and enjoy it. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Overall, very pleased with stay."
