"My stay was initially quite pleasant. The front-line staff were consistently warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout. When a small issue arose with our travel photos, the hotel promptly communicated and resolved it, which I appreciated. I thought I was going to have a wonderful experience, but it was completely ruined by one utterly unprofessional staff member, plummeting my satisfaction! While riding the shuttle bus, we politely asked the shuttle driver about the hotel's attractions and photo spots. The driver was halfway through explaining when another person nearby suddenly interjected and answered for him! Her attitude was extremely rude, cold, and dismissive. She was sarcastic the entire time, even accusing us of not speaking clearly. We were just asking basic, straightforward questions about attractions, and I truly don't understand how we could have possibly expressed ourselves more 'clearly'. When we politely asked about photo spots, she flat-out said there weren't any, and was incredibly impatient. Yet, later we saw clear signs for photo spots all over the hotel. We got zero useful information, only a belly full of frustration and anger! Afterward, the hotel told us this person was a 'secondary employee' and wasn't on duty, which is why she wasn't wearing an ID badge. I completely reject this flimsy explanation! Why was she wearing a uniform, riding a guest shuttle, and casually interjecting to address guests if she wasn't on duty? It's one thing to be unfamiliar with hotel operations and lack service awareness, but she didn't even have basic human decency. She seemed to be working with a chip on her shoulder, acting condescendingly, as if we, the guests, were accommodating her bad mood! In stark contrast, all the other shuttle drivers were kind, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic, creating an incredibly jarring difference! The hotel's reputation, carefully built by its front-line staff, was completely destroyed by this 'secondary employee' who showed no rules, no professionalism, and no respect. The hotel merely offered a casual explanation of her identity without any indication of intending to improve. Such tolerance for employee misconduct is truly disheartening. I will never recommend this hotel, nor will I ever stay here again!"

"I booked this hotel after seeing good reviews on Ctrip, and it lived up to its reputation after checking in. The hotel has a private parking lot, which is convenient and safe. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. It's great value for money and highly recommended."

"A hidden paradise hotel in the rainforest. The lake water is emerald green and crystal clear, and the air is fresh and pleasant. Walking along is incredibly soothing. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The hotel itself is very nice, with clean, beautiful rooms that offer a stunning view. The Chinese restaurant is also very good and the quantity of food is huge! A huge thank you to the two ladies at the front desk, Lina and Xiaozuo, who were incredibly helpful. Housekeeper Lina provided exceptional service. The service is truly remarkable. It’s definitely worth returning!"

"This was the most delightful hotel of our trip! From the moment we arrived at the Yanoda entrance, we started receiving VIP service. Our room faced the pool and had a small private courtyard, which made it feel like we were in Thailand. The shower room was incredibly spacious, and there was even a washing machine with a dryer. The night exploration tour was fantastic; we saw tree frogs and tree crabs. The hotel also offers discounted tickets for various activities, and you can easily arrange a car to go anywhere. The hotel restaurant's prices are very reasonable; a coconut chicken hotpot for 200+ was too much for three people to finish!"

"The villas are spacious and comfortable, but a bit outdated especially on the terrace. The outside swimming pool was great with a nice view. Breakfast was delicious and abundant, changing every day which is a plus. The staff was simply great, responsive and helpful . As a downside, is hard to get a Didi taxi at the hotel, you might need to get to the main entrance on the street (but the staff helped on that issue as well)."

"Came with my husband, and I couldn't help but wait as soon as I entered the hotel lobby. The front desk ladies received us very warmly. The surprise was that we actually upgraded to the room on the 3rd floor for free. I was really happy! "We stayed here with our family, including elderly relatives and children, during the off-peak season. We had stunning views of Qixianling (Seven Immortals Mountain) from both the lobby and our rooms. The private hot spring bath was wonderfully relaxing, and they also have a swimming pool and a children's playground. Positives: - Good service from staff - Walking distance (10 mins) from Yanuo forest - Short taxi (15 mins) to Binlang ethnic village Negatives: - Mold in shower + cockroach in hairdryer bag - Photos and description misleading, we booked the Spring Bud Germination Double Bed Room but were told it doesn't come with a pool upon arrival so were 'upgraded' to the Autumn Rhyme pool, which also didn't come with a private pool as is listed (there is a shared pool available) - Did not see any other guests during our stay, feels very remote and isolated - Photos were slightly misleading; e.g., there is no private pool for the villas"
