"The hotel is very clean, and the scent is pleasant, not overpowering. The hallways smell nicely of laundry detergent. The staff are also incredibly friendly and attentive. For dinner, we ordered the 256 hot pot set meal at the hotel restaurant. The yak meat had too strong a beefy flavor, and the fish was quite fishy, so we couldn't really enjoy it. I'd recommend ordering à la carte and choosing what you like. However, the crispy fried pork in the set meal was absolutely delicious! It was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside – truly amazing. The private onsen was very comfortable, and the room came with complimentary Coke, which was nice to drink while soaking. The toilet had disposable seat covers, and the toiletries were decent. The sink was designed as an island counter, with the mirror and vanity separately placed on another wall, which is quite different from other hotels and actually very practical. Parking was also convenient and spacious. It was very quiet at night, too."

"孩子越過巴朗山高反難受，小金定不到酒店，連夜定了個帳篷酒店來入住啦！
大半夜的翻越了理小路大二普，看到了滿天的繁星也算是匆忙跑路的旅程中為數不多的亮點之一！
帳篷民宿就在路邊很好找，提前開了空調和地暖，個位數的室外温度我在床上被熱炸了！😭
川西晚上的風為啥那麼大？呼呼呼的還挺嚇人！
第二天白天還在門口晃悠了一圈，景色優美，早餐可以喊老闆定製牛肉麪+煎蛋，非常香！
可惜這次秋假匆忙的旅途太緊湊了，衹能下次有機會再來啦！"

"We specifically visited for the infinity pool with its stunning views and the hot springs. The drive to the hotel wasn't the easiest, but upon seeing the beautiful surroundings once we arrived, the challenging journey felt entirely worthwhile! Some of the maple trees on the property have already turned red; I imagine it would be even more beautiful and breathtaking if visited in autumn."

"A year ago in Bipenggou, the autumn wind turned the fir trees across the mountains red. I witnessed the slowest sunset, the sound of the mountain wind carrying the rustling of pines—a memory that lingered for a whole year. This year, returning to Western Sichuan, the autumn forests of Bipenggou were still as lush and picturesque as ever. The exclusive travel photography session at the Mushan Hotel was the most unexpected surprise—it turns out that staying amidst scenery allows you to capture both the landscape and the passing time in your photos.

"The hotel is conveniently located just a three-minute drive from Bipenggou Scenic Area. For its location, the hotel's facilities are excellent; it shouldn't be judged by the standards of hotels in large cities, but rather compared to accommodations near the entrance of the valley.
The hotel's amenities demonstrate its attentive service to guests. The rooms have underfloor heating, ensuring they are not cold at all. There are drinking fountains, disposable towels, and Sprite, which are convenient for bringing along to alleviate altitude sickness in the scenic area. The lobby provides earplugs, dental floss, toilet seat covers, and even disposable oxygen tubes. There's even a QR code in the room specifically for collecting guest feedback—a first for me, showing that they value guest feedback.
The restaurant serves dinner, making it very convenient to find food without having to go out. The boiled yak meat, stir-fried cabbage, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, and vegetable soup were all quite delicious. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally warm hospitality of an auntie in the restaurant. Upon learning that my mother loves plums and wanted to buy some, she proactively packed a bag for her, making us feel right at home!
Suggestions: 1. The restaurant could sell plums, so customers who like them could buy more themselves, and it would be embarrassing to take too much. 2. The automatic flushing of the smart toilet is a bit loud; I wonder if it could be switched to manual mode at night. 3. Small hand towels could be provided in the restroom, so people wouldn't have to use large bath towels to dry their hands, which would be more environmentally friendly."

"The hot springs and breakfast were absolutely fantastic! After three days exploring the Western Sichuan loop, this was by far our favorite stop. The cleanliness was top-notch. My only minor suggestion would be to fix the shower head. While there's no air conditioning, it truly wasn't necessary; with the window open, it got so cool at night we had to bundle up in blankets. The restaurant is a huge bonus! The freshly fried runny-yolk eggs were absolutely divine, and the mushroom chicken soup was equally delicious. We truly spent our best day here!
P.S. A quick note about the charging parking spots outside: they could use better management. It was pretty frustrating to see a petrol car occupying two charging stations."

The owner, in particular, is exceptionally kind and hospitable. When my wife and I unexpectedly fell ill in the middle of the night, he proactively helped us seek medical assistance. He even went out of his way to prepare plain congee for us to eat upon our return. We are incredibly grateful! It's truly rare to encounter such a hotel and such a caring owner during a trip. Downstairs, the garden is fragrant with crabapples and osmanthus. The breakfast is distinctive and delicious. The room even came with a seed packet card to take home and plant. ******* charm is everywhere; you can spend half a day taking photos in traditional ******* clothing – it's like a mini attraction itself. It truly delivers on emotional value.

Eending628The homestay has a sense of design, especially the living room on the first floor where you can chat around the stove. The hardware in the room is very good brand goods. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining room can enjoy the beautiful scenery of clouds and mist when eating. I dare not imagine how beautiful it should be if there is a colorful forest in October and a snow-capped mountain in December. Although the breakfast is simple, it is equipped with green leaf napkins, exquisite side dishes, hot butter tea, and feels very life-like. The only regret is that the dinner is too slow. After all, there is a hostess Zhang Luo alone. The grandmother helps to lay hands, but the weight and taste are online. There was also a large Alaskan dog called Hanamaki, very gentle, and a white cat that had just given birth to a baby.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent — it’s very close to the Bipenggou Scenic Area, which makes it super convenient for sightseeing. The hotel also has outdoor hot springs, which were the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the mountains.
The room facilities were great, especially the bed — it was extremely comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. The hotel’s restaurant is another highlight, offering delicious local dishes at very reasonable prices.
Overall, it’s a perfect place to stay for anyone visiting Bipenggou. Great location, relaxing hot springs, comfortable rooms, and tasty local food — highly recommended!

Aannac****The location is fantastic, within walking distance to all the scenic spots, which was incredibly convenient and saved us from traffic jams during the National Day holiday peak.
Facilities: Quite comprehensive, all smart devices. This room type was very comfortable for the three of us. The bedding was great, just the right thickness, and the pillows were comfortable. I was quite satisfied.
Hygiene: The hot spring tub was large, and an auntie even came to clean it again after we checked in. The tub's temperature was perfect, though the shower pressure was a bit weak in comparison.
Service: The service response was super quick; the coffee butler even brought me a complimentary cup, which tasted good. Breakfast was okay, pretty much as expected. I left my watch in the room, and after checking out, they proactively contacted me and helped mail it back. I'm very grateful for that.
Overall, I was quite satisfied.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is the only option in the scenic area, and it's the best choice for visiting Bipenggou. The rooms are spacious, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is very clean. The detached villas have private hot springs, and soaking in a hot spring while looking at the snowy mountains is very enjoyable. The breakfast is quite rich, and you can order à la carte for dinner; the Gastrodia elata stewed chicken is delicious. After all the praise, I do have some feedback. We are older and experienced some altitude sickness when going up the mountain. Our room was on the second floor, and since the hotel doesn't have an elevator, carrying luggage up to the second floor was really tough. This is quite unusual for a five-star hotel service. It would be great if this could be improved, even if it means having the option to pay for assistance, right, haha.
