"Booked room with the onsen and it was a nice touch but it might cost a bit... nevertheless the service was good and they do have free shuttle. Just take note its just to the station. If you would like to visit Shuzenji temple, you gotta get down and walk the other direction. Breakfast has a wide variety. 👍🏻 P.s. try checking in earlier, cause when it gets dark, its might be difficult to find your way up the mountain as road is winding."

"I had a wonderful stay at Laforet Shuzenji Sanshisuimei. Overall, the experience was excellent and very relaxing. I booked the Mt. Fuji Side Hot Spring Open-air Bath room, and it was absolutely worth it. The room was very spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Having a private onsen bath in the room made the stay feel extra special. Soaking in the open-air bath while enjoying the peaceful mountain surroundings was truly unforgettable. The location is tucked away in the mountains, which makes it perfect for those who value privacy, tranquility, and a quiet escape from the city. However, it may not be ideal for travelers looking for a highly convenient or easily accessible location. I drove there and would strongly recommend doing so. Complimentary parking is available, which made the trip very convenient. One small note for future guests: toothbrushes are not provided in the room and need to be purchased at check-in, so it’s good to prepare in advance. The only minor issue during my stay was that the temperature control for the private onsen bath in my room was not functioning perfectly. It would be great if this could be improved. That said, it did not take away from the overall enjoyment of the stay. Overall, it was a fantastic and rejuvenating experience. I would definitely consider returning for another peaceful getaway."
