"Aside from being expensive, there's absolutely nothing else to complain about.
The hotel staff were proactive and enthusiastic. They saw us taking photos by the entrance and offered to help, mentioning they could also speak Chinese as they had studied in China.
There's a free welcome drink, free late-night snacks, and welcome ice cream. Plus, there's a supermarket right on the ground floor of the hotel.
Both breakfast and dinner were incredibly abundant. And there are free massage chairs available for use right by the entrance to the open-air hot spring bath."

"The best ryokan I have ever visited in Japan. You feel at home. It is located in a picturesque place with its own sakura alley, momiji. There is a bamboo grove. Breakfasts and dinners (kaiseki) are interesting and delicious. You can feel the constant attention of the ryokan staff. The onsens are varied and beautiful, after visiting them, my skin became very smooth. The rooms are historical, large, classic, very pleased. I recommend Arai Ryokan!"

"The service here exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly polite, greeting everyone with a smile and a bow upon entering and leaving. Since I checked in quite early, I had to wait about half an hour for my room, but they proactively offered me complimentary access to the executive lounge for the day as compensation. The facilities are very new, and the breakfast, though leaning Western, was quite rich compared to other hotels in Japan, offering great value for money. The only downside is the somewhat remote location. Although there's a shuttle bus, it only runs once an hour, so if you miss it, you'll need to take a taxi, which costs around 3300 JPY."

"Wow! I really like this place. The experience is very good. The staff are friendly and polite. The boy at the front desk gives a detailed introduction in English! The inside is very big and the scenery is beautiful. This is the third time I have been to Izu. When I checked in this hotel for the first time, I didn’t expect the entrance to be mediocre. The inside is very big and the scenery is very beautiful. There are 4 private hot spring pools, and they are completely free, and the hot spring water is It's very pure and very hot. The beauty water under the moon is hot enough and feels great after soaking in it! The environment in Kawatoko Restaurant is first-rate. Eating here is well worth the ticket price. The food is also very delicious! The whole stay was so enjoyable for the whole family! Well worth a visit. My husband kept saying: This hotel is good, I will stay in this hotel next time. It was also the most unforgettable part of my entire trip. Before we left, there was an uncle who took the initiative to take pictures of us enthusiastically, allowing us to leave more wonderful memories! "The room is spacious, and the toilet and shower are separated, which is good. The hot spring tax of 150 yen is a mandatory charge, whether you soak or not, you have to pay it when you check in. No mineral water is provided, and boiled water is not provided in the lobby. There are many breakfast varieties, but you can't eat it late, and the varieties you finish will not be replenished, so it's best to eat within half an hour of the start time. The hotel is next to Shuzenji Temple. The surrounding restaurants close at 5 o'clock in the evening. There is an Ambane Hotel nearby that is best not to go to. "This hotel is located in uphill. It is difficult to walk up to the hotel, better to plan your itinerary with free shuttle schedule. The free shuttle bus schedule stored in the hotel website but the file I couldn’t able to download. You can call the hotel for details. The hotel facilitates are good but every single spot are not walking distance. It is suggested to buy some snacks/food before going up to the hotel. If you play golf, they have a view of Mt Fuji.

"The location is far from Shuzenji Onsen Street. It takes a quarter of an hour to walk with the luggage. Fortunately, the attractions to be seen are within this range. The hotel requires changing into slippers in the lobby, but you can still walk in with your luggage. I don't know how the floor can be kept clean. In addition, the hotel slippers are cold and slippery, and not convenient to wear. What's even more bizarre is that the hotel doesn't clean the rooms. They just put the towels, bath towels and bed sheets that need to be changed at the door for guests to do it themselves. This is the first time I've encountered such a hotel. Bad review. That is the level of a farm stay. The only good thing was that the dinner was great and rich, with a small hot pot and sea crab legs. The service staff seemed to be Indian, very warm and thoughtful. There was no service in the room or the hot spring house. There were no towels in the hot spring house, and the floor was covered with hair and lint, which was very dirty."

I've seen it in a magazine before, and I've been worried about it all the time, and this time I was able to ask my long-cherished wish come true.
The room, the food and the staff were able to spend a very good time with two people more than expected.
The facility name LOQUAT means ”Biwa”, and there is a ”Shirabiwa” that can only be seen in this area on the premises.
When I heard it at dinner, I thought it was a nice story, but after checking out, I asked the staff to suggest that it was the season, and I had a harvest experience.
It was a very enjoyable and valuable experience.
He also experiences making biwa sake, which seems to be very interesting.
In the future, I am very looking forward to increasing the number of 々 experience plans.
It is an inn that I want to visit again on an important day.

The food was exquisite and incredibly delicious! I was pleasantly surprised that the wasabi hot pot set menu also came with sashimi, Wagyu beef, and abalone? Or was it soft-shelled turtle? (The lobster in the picture was ordered separately.) Overall, the food was prepared with great care.
The hotel has a traditional Japanese style, and the courtyard is absolutely beautiful. Although our English isn't great, the front desk staff was very patient and meticulous in explaining all the rules to us. During meals, she even introduced each dish and spoke a few words of Chinese – we really loved her!
There was an unexpected and wonderful surprise when we checked out: all the staff came out to bid us farewell and even held up a banner that said, ”Please come again!” It was so touching and made us so happy; the emotional value was completely maximized.
The room we booked included a private onsen, which was available 24 hours a day.
We will definitely be back!!!

GGuest UserThe staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains.

The area is very large and all built along the river. It used to be a high-end place for celebrities in Tokyo, Japan to vacation, gather and relax. There are many buildings and old objects from decades ago. Both the indoor hot springs and public hot springs are good. The outdoor hot spring can deeply feel the hotel's business philosophy and the deep integration of man and nature.

LLIHUAHotel location is good, very close to Xiushan Temple, Bamboo Forest Trail. There are 7 floors, which are considered high in local hotels.
There is a forest behind the hotel and the air is nice.
The old lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly in English.
Dining is a VIP room in each section, you can enjoy the food quietly.
Open air, go out on the fifth floor. The scale is not very large, connected to the mountains. An appointment is required. The time for soaking is 45 minutes. The time is up before people feel truly relaxed.
Breakfast time is earlier and I want to go back and rest after eating. The tatami beds have been put away. Check-out time is 10:30 in the morning, guests can't leave, and then clean up. Not very humane.

SSumiAll aspects of the environment are very satisfactory, the food is very good, but the Japanese-style hotel that does not accept children. It is my favorite Japanese-style hot spring hotel. Another point is that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. However, the hotel should arrange a station pick-up and drop-off.

I highly recommend the one-night-two-meals package; breakfast and dinner offer a wide variety and a pleasant dining environment. The bathing area reveals its rich history, with the sulfur traces at the outlet particularly noticeable. Transportation is also conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the station.
