"I had a wonderful stay at Orange House. The hotel boasts an elegant and tranquil environment, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere overall. During my visit, there weren't many guests, which made for a great experience. The hot spring water quality was excellent; my skin felt smooth and delicate after soaking, and it really helped relieve my travel fatigue. The food was also impressive; both the ingredient quality and presentation were thoughtfully done, offering rich flavors with local characteristics. The staff were warm and attentive, making the entire check-in process even more pleasant. I highly recommend this place whether you're looking to experience hot springs or enjoy a leisurely vacation."

The free shuttle bus schedule stored in the hotel website but the file I couldn’t able to download. You can call the hotel for details. The hotel facilitates are good but every single spot are not walking distance. It is suggested to buy some snacks/food before going up to the hotel. If you play golf, they have a view of Mt Fuji. "This is an established onsen hotel in Shuzenji, mostly frequented by Japanese locals for their getaways. I booked a Japanese-style room that included breakfast and dinner. Throughout the entire hotel, shoes are not permitted; they are stored in shoe lockers behind the front desk. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet-style, offering a good selection of both Japanese and Western dishes. The hotel also boasts seven complimentary private hot springs, which are fantastic, although you might have to queue during peak hours (each session is 30 minutes). What's more, they offer free ramen in the evenings, which is a wonderful touch. A special shout-out also goes to the free mahjong tables – a huge draw for Chinese guests! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the hot spring street, and it's only about a 5-minute walk to Shuzenji Temple. The only minor downside is the lack of a free shuttle service to Shuzenji Station. However, the front desk can help you arrange a taxi, which costs around 1500 JPY."

"The staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains."

SAKAHIJIRI GYOKUSHOEN Inn is a traditional Japanese inn-style hotel under the SAKAHIJIRI Hotel Group. Delicious seafood and Japanese food, different styles of different rooms, various types of hot spring pools, Japanese gardens and Japan's most traditional banquet cuisine service. Whether it's a business trip, family or couple travel, SAKAHIJIRI Group will give you a different experience. The hotel is also one of the few Japanese-style hotels in Japan that offers in-room dining. Many Japanese international chess and card competitions have been held here, and celebrities from all walks of life have also stayed at the hotel. In addition to various Japanese TV variety shows being filmed here, "Du Lala's Promotion", which is well known to Chinese friends, was also filmed in this hotel.

"I stayed here as a solo traveler with no meals included. The bath was equipped with hot spring water, but the only ventilation was from outside, so insects kept coming in. However, bathing while basking in the sunlight streaming in from the mountain view was pleasant. The room was spacious and I think it would be just right for two people. The futon was double-layered and fluffy. The comforter was also fluffy, but it made me too hot, so I wish they had provided a thin blanket as well. The basic amenities were all there. I was impressed that they always provided lotion and milk. There was a yukata and haori for indoor wear, but I wish they had also provided a jinbei. The toilet was equipped with a washlet that automatically flushes after use. However, the toilet's hand basin was difficult to use because the water pressure was weak and I wish it had a little more force. The washroom/changing room had good hot and cold water pressure and was spacious, so it was nice. Meals at the inn are by reservation only. As there is no restaurant on-site at the inn, we walked a little ways to eat out, but most of the restaurants are open irregularly so it might have been better to make a reservation with meals included. Next time I stay, I would like to make a reservation with meals included."

"This was my first time glamping. The room was very spacious and I was very satisfied! The BBQ equipment and dishes were also plentiful, which was great. However, there were a few things that bothered me. First, the public bath was extremely small. There were only three showers in the small bathhouse. At night, there was a traffic jam, and people were waiting outside. Also, since there are no toilets in each room, you have to walk to the toilet in the cold at night. Furthermore, the bed was very narrow, and my friend, who is quite large, slept very cramped. Aside from these points, it was very comfortable and I was very satisfied!"

Better than expected, clean and tidy! The hot spring in the room directly faces Mount Fuji, and you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fuji while sitting on the terrace! The service is top-notch, and the food is fresh and delicious! Each building is independent and quiet, absolutely worth the money!

It was a wonderful traditional Japanese stay. The rooms were newly renovated and the environment was very quiet. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were both very special. The private bath was a great experience. I recommend that people set aside their pursuit of ”newness and modernity” and immerse themselves in traditional Japanese culture for a day; it's a truly relaxing experience.

All aspects of the environment are very satisfactory, the food is very good, but the Japanese-style hotel that does not accept children. It is my favorite Japanese-style hot spring hotel. Another point is that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. However, the hotel should arrange a station pick-up and drop-off. Dinner: Super delicious!

The decoration is in the Western style of the 1980s. For some years, the room we stayed in still has paint smell. I don’t know if it has been repaired recently. I am a little worried about whether the health will be affected. The location is really partial, there is nothing around, the hotel is also small, only eight rooms, no public entertainment facilities, no public hot springs. It rained heavily on the day we arrived and could only stay in the room with no view. Be careful not to drive by yourself. Traffic is too difficult. Compared with such an expensive house price, I really want to faint. Just came from Asahi of Shuzenji the day before, this price is more expensive than Asana, but the experience is like mud. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know what the bottom line is. The good place is good service, good ingredients for dinner and breakfast, the next day the weather cleared, saw Mount Fuji, at the same time the hotel helped to contact a reasonable price taxi to the next destination, which is a little soothing to check the mood of the day.

We stayed as a couple in their 50s and their son and his wife. Dinner was served in the dining area, and the hot dishes were kept warm. The portions were generous, the flavor was great, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol was a delight for heavy drinkers. The breakfast buffet was also satisfying, with the option to grill dried fish at the table. The location is right in front of the ocean, and the view from our room was great. There was also an open-air hot spring bath, so we were able to relax while looking out at the sea. Overall, we were satisfied for the price. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that there was no air conditioning in the corridors we used to move around, which was quite hot in this heatwave. Even after washing off the sweat in the bath, we were drenched in sweat by the time we got back to our room. (The air conditioning in the rooms was comfortable.)

It seems to be a traditional Japanese room renovation, very flavorful The room is a duplex and has stairs. Elderly people should be careful about slipping. The bathroom has hot spring water, but the bathtub is too thin, which is a pity The water temperature of the outdoor hot spring is relatively low, which is suitable for those who are taking a hot spring bath for the first time. The food is rich, including abalone! There are crabs! There are cows! And very delicious

It's an old but very nice hotel. The room is in a traditional Japanese style, with yukata, tea set, futons, tatami mats - everything is as it should be! Very clean and cozy, definitely recommend it. It's a pity that you can't visit the onsen if you have a tattoo, but it's okay! There was a magnificent view of the mountains and the village from the window!

The environment is nice, clean, and hygienic. There's no turndown service. It's right by the sea, so you can go for a walk in the evening. There are quite a few people fishing on the pier. There were a few insects near the hot spring in the room, probably because there's a mountain behind the hotel, but I managed to catch a few bigger ones! 💪 The sunset was beautiful, and lying in bed at night, I could even see the moon from my childhood! The photos are straight from the camera, unedited. The parking lot isn't at the hotel, which is inconvenient, and there's a lot of traffic when crossing the road. 😂
