"Beware of HIDDEN COSTS for the indoor swimming pool, gym, onsen, and even the seats at the adult outdoor swimming pool. To me, this is pure robbery. I have never experienced this before in my life, even at other hotels in Japan. I understand there are sometimes fees for an onsen, but hotels normally give a discount or allow guests to use it once for free. This is why I gave 1 to amenities. There are two options for breakfast: Japanese or International. The Japanese breakfast was served in a bento box (one per person, with unlimited refills on rice and soup), but the fish was already a bit cold. I know they don’t want to keep their customers waiting, but there should be a way to keep the food warm. My advice is to always go with the international buffet unless you prefer to sit somewhere with fewer people. The room was great, soundproof, and well-equipped with everything you need, including a medium-sized bathtub. However, the view from my room was blocked by the pool and trees (this wouldn't be an issue if you are above the 5th or 6th floor). The hotel indeed looked pretty, but I found their beaches to be kind of mid compared to what I saw while driving around Okinawa."

The hotel shop sells diapers, so if you're traveling with a baby, you don't need to go out to buy them. I particularly want to praise the sea area; the water was shallow in the afternoon, and I swam around within the safe zone, encountering six different types of fish, which was fantastic. The hotel has many steps, but also plenty of ramps and elevators, making it suitable for strollers. Beach loungers are paid for by the full day or afternoon; there's no option for just the morning. "This is an amazing resort with great view and service. I love the jacuzzi and the bed so much. However the breakfast is below average for four stars hotel. You can reach the diving area within 15-20mins and very close to Cape Manzamo. Anyway, I must be come back next time when travel again in Okinawa."

You can choose between a bed or a futon on tatami, but you can only pick one option, otherwise there's an extra charge. I didn't confirm the details with the hotel, but if you want to sleep on tatami, I recommend checking with the staff beforehand to see if both guests need to choose the same sleeping arrangement. The bed is also very large; two adults and one child can sleep comfortably without feeling cramped."

"This is the best hotel in Okinawa. The location is in middle and can easily drive to different parts of Okinawa. They have so indoor and outdoor pools. No matter what kind of weather, you can still enjoy swimming. The view is stunning as well"

"The room was clean and spacious. Though it was a bit chill inside as we stayed during a cold period with the temprature outside ~14-16°. The interior looks a bit old but everything is in very good condition. The staff were friendly and helpful. Contrary to what was in hotel description, there is no heating of the swimming pool. There are not many things around, so it was really quite. Breakfasts were delicious with some variety of things, we enjoyed pancakes. There wasn't much fruit just grapefruit and lichi. What was not very convenient is that there are no quilt covers, but an extra sheet and blanket separately."

"Sheraton Okinawa Sunmarina Resort is one of the best hotel and experience I had. The location is great which easy access to both north and south part of the island. Facilities are the best, especially the water activities. We tried almost all marine activities and all are great. Staff are wonderful and really helpful. They helped me from the day I book the hotel, marine activities arrangements, room service, and front desk. We definitely will come back to meet the great staff and hotel."
