"The room was better than I'd expected. Although the decor was a bit dated, it was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The bed was also large enough, so sleeping with our child didn't feel cramped at all.
The weather wasn't great during our stay, which meant the sea wasn't very inviting, and we didn't get to use the children's play facilities on the beach. Both the outdoor and indoor pools had children's slides; they were decent but not huge, offering all the essentials.
Before checking out, I informed the front desk that I needed to go to the airport, and they kindly arranged a shuttle bus for me. It took less than an hour and a half to reach the airport, and we didn't even have to walk to an outside bus stop. The shuttle was very prompt.
We booked the hotel very last minute, and it was during the peak summer season (even with a typhoon, other hotels were incredibly expensive at that time!). For a price of just over 2000, including breakfast for two adults and one child, I still think it offered good value for money.
As for dining, the breakfast spread was enormous; you could find almost anything you'd want. Their buffet dinner also offered excellent value. We tried the Japanese restaurant, and with the 10% discount voucher from the hotel, it was only just over 100 per person. You could even make your own sashimi bowls, and the food tasted great.
Finally, there were quite a few things that incurred extra charges, which slightly detracted from the overall holiday feel."
