Coron Hotels with Pools

"We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Zuri Resort Coron. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm, relaxing, and well thought out. We stayed in a Family Room with two queen beds and bunk beds built above them, and our kids loved it — it was spacious, fun, and perfect for families. The staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond. The resort’s four pools were another major highlight, each offering amazing views of the beach and sunset, making it easy to wind down and enjoy the scenery. We were impressed by the cocktails, food, and buffet selection, which had a wide variety of options that catered to both Filipinos and non-Filipinos. Everything felt fresh and satisfying. Another thing we appreciated was how the resort provided clear details on different activities and tours available around Coron. It made planning our days simple and stress-free. Overall, Zuri Resort delivered comfort, beauty, and excellent service from start to finish. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again."

"We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and it was worth the money. The room was spacious and clean. Hot and cold shower was available. The staffs were very kind and accommodating to our needs. I was able to work for 1 night with their internet even if it was just around 8mbps but there will be times the internet will be out. If you get the other side of the hotel, you will get an amazing view of the mountain. Only downside of our stay was that my husband got diarrhea on the last day of our stay, it could be from the boat tours or may be from the hotel buffet since I was not able to eat some of the meals there while my husband did. But overall, the hotel stay was great! Hopefully Palawan solves this ongoing “diarrheic outbreak”. We were able to visit Puerto Princesa and El Nido before but never had the experience getting sick."

"This hotel was initially a nightmare. I booked 2 rooms through Trip for adults and the kids. Upon arrival, the hotel advised that one of the rooms had been cancelled and we only had one room. All my bookings were still showing in the Trip app so neither myself or Trip had cancelled anything. I contacted Trip and they were excellent and worked very hard, but unsuccessfully to get our room back... It was absolutely peak season and the room had been given to someone else. We were able to book a room Westown 2 nights later so the kids ended up staying at the hotel and us adults, luckily were able to find another hotel for 2 nights and then moved back to Westown hotel. When this issue occurred, I felt we were treated incredibly poorly by the hotel. They made it clear... If you book through a third party booking agency, the issue is with you..not our problem... Considering most of their bookings are probably through third parties, this attitude is poor. Once we moved back into the hotel for the remaining 3 days, the hotel facilities were good. Swimming pools were good. There was a cafe, couple of restaurants, and small gym. Location was 10 mins on a tricycle into the centre of town and there were always tricycles available. A shuttle was available to and from the airport. Negatives were as follows: - Hotel saying we cancelled one of our rooms even though we hadn't. Kids had to stay by themselves in the hotel. - Hotel didn't care less about us because we made the booking through a 3rd party. - Disappointing that probably 50% of the menu foods were not available in the Filipino restaurant while we were there...usual excuse of supplier issues was always given."

"Advantages: Quiet, no roosters crowing around, good environment outside. The hotel can charge for processing external food, although the processing fee is not cheap, but the taste is very good, there is free turu. The service staff is very enthusiastic. Disadvantages: The bathroom is too broken, there is no dry and wet separation, the toilet cover has fallen off, the faucet is completely loose, and no one has repaired it. The bed sheets are very old and stained. The breakfast is good, but too sweet and greasy. It will be perfect if the internal facilities are improved."

"We had a great experience during our 4-day stay in Coron Soleil Express Hotel. All the staff were courteous, respectful and accommodating. The room was clean and the aircon functions well. The swimming pool is clean and did not feel too much chlorine in the water. As an overall rating, it was excellent. Will come back again in the hotel with families and friends."

As for the amenities, it’s clear they’re working on upgrades, and we’re excited to see what’s to come. We had a blast playing table tennis, though the balls could use a refresh. One small wish—we’d love for the pool hours to extend a little later! Now, a special shoutout to the dream team: Mund, Gie, Gino, Noel and Sandy—our private tour guides who went above and beyond in every way. They made us feel like royalty! Always attentive, always caring, and full of heart. I even had a minor accident and bruised my leg, and their first-aid response was immediate and professional. Without a doubt, we highly recommend booking a private tour with them. It’s not just a tour—it’s a memorable experience led by the kindest, most amazing people. Can’t wait to return! "Good location a bit out of downtown to avoid the noise, but from walking distance of main points of interest. Large, comfortable and clean room. Huge swimming pool. Just annoying we had to choose the type and time of breakfast one day in advance. Staff helped us to book a transfer to airport at reasonable price."

"Excellent service we've received. The staff were all polite, friendly & very accommodating esp with my request. Beautiful view of bay & Coron town, ignore the shanty area coz it's the trip we were after & friendliness of people of Coron. Everyday cleaning/making up our room & everyday bottled water provided. Good selection of food for buffet breakfast & freshly cooked when we had a la carte due to low season/less guests which is much better than busy😆"

"Sky Garden Hotel is located in the heart of Coron, Palawan. It is just 5 minutes walk from the restaurants and shops. One of the highlights was the rooftop with the peaceful terrace and swimming pool. The sunsets were beautiful. The breakfast was average and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are travelling to Coron and seeking a peaceful ambiance this hotel might be a nice choice."

"Amazing staff who help book tours and transport. Very good food (breakfast less so) but Filipino food (sisig and adobo) and sliders were great. The room was huge - I’m sorry I didn’t take photos of it! Water coolers throughout hotel and bottled water. However, this is not “newly refurbished” as advertised - wear and tear and old AC in the room. The pool is lovely and clean but we realised why there could be so many mosquitos - there is no pool pump so stagnant water (although regularly cleaned). So many mosquitos in our room day after day and the rooms smelt very fousty and damp. Yes it’s up a hill which I’ve seen on other reviews, but that’s coron! Deal with it haha. We paid 30PHP to get up the hill once, no dramas. Basic accommodation reflected on price but the mosquitos and damp smell were very disappointing to us."
