"This is a lovely homestay in a newly built mountain town. Mr Jiang and his wife, teacher Wu, welcomed me into their home and made sure that I had a wonderful experience. Their home is beautiful, clean and tidy. It has a large open plan living area with a large dining table, sofas, a table for serving tea and a pool table, all of which you can make use of. They have a lovely garden and views across a small lake and over mountains covered in trees. The fresh mountain air is rejuvenating. They also have a cute little puppy. The villa is just over the mountain from Xiamen in the first town you get to, and just beyond the town there is a traditional rural village and a reservoir that are worth checking out. The town in which the villa is located is very quiet so don't expect to be able to go to any restaurants, but the hosts will help you order takeaway. The hosts speak English, and took me out with them to look at the stars and the night views, and in the morning made me a simple but satisfying breakfast. I hope to go back to see them again!"
