Hotels in Zengcuo'an Area, Xiamen

The service, ambiance, and balcony view all deserve a five-star rating, perfectly matching the hotel's standard. The breakfast ingredients were fresh and plentiful, and it's impressive that the dishes changed daily, which isn't easy to achieve. My only minor quibble is that the gym is relatively small, and I'd recommend updating the treadmills (they had some minor issues). This review is based on a multi-day stay.

Except for the location is not easy for taxi to come in (we have to walk around 100m to the big road and it is not convenient for rainy day). Everything was fantastic, the lady owner has great support to us, even in rainy days, she helps us to bring the umbrella to the taxi point. Room are new, nice, spacious. It is also near the tourist attraction. I reccomend you to come and stay here for your vacation.

This stay was such a pleasant surprise! It's my first time in Xiamen, and I noticed this area seems to be predominantly guesthouses/B&Bs. The host was incredibly friendly, and his service was excellent! He even gave us a complimentary room upgrade – huge thumbs up! The views are also beautiful. The beach is right across the street, so incredibly close! I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing stay. I stayed for 5 nights, service & hospitality was impeccable. Room was clean, spacious & well equipped. Even had a stone bathtub to relax. Fresh towels daily, toiletries & clean bedding every other night. Located in the most ideal spot - dozens of restaurants, street markets, beach, hiking trail & a Buddhist temple all within walking range. There’s a beautiful beach and park across the road (Music Square) Bike hire available & easy access to transportation if needed. I would highly recommend this stay to foreigners who are solo travelers or friends / couples - safe secure & everything you could possibly need.

What a hidden gem – a hotel that truly excels in both design and quality! During my trip to Xiamen, I stayed at Wuyoo and was completely captivated by its design. From the minimalist lobby aesthetic to the natural wood furniture and clever play of light and shadow in the rooms, every photo I took looked professionally styled. The bedding was so incredibly soft, I never wanted to leave the bed! The thoughtful dry/wet separation in the bathroom was a huge plus, and even the toiletries felt luxurious and refined. Its location is also incredibly convenient; we could easily walk to the old town for local snacks. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and patient, and even proactively recommended some wonderful off-the-beaten-path attractions. My stay was absolutely perfect! I've already highly recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

The environment is very good and the facilities are quite complete. There is also a small garden downstairs. The room decoration style is very new. The front desk service attitude is very enthusiastic, which is really a plus. They also provided me with nearby guides, and it is very convenient to take a taxi to go out and play! The key point is that the hotel will turn on the air conditioner for you in advance🥹🥹🥹🥹It is still very quiet to sleep! Very good experience! Awesome!

The location is superb, offering incredibly convenient access to the beach. The rooms are also very spacious, making them ideal for couples or friends traveling together. The courtyard features an ocean-view infinity pool that's absolutely Instagrammable. In the evenings, you can relax in the courtyard with a drink, enjoying the breeze and the view of the Twin Towers.

Pros: The room's overall decor was clean and fresh. There's a full-length mirror behind the door, the hot water in the bathroom was very warm, and the air conditioning cooled effectively. The location is excellent – turn left out the door for a snack street, and turn right to get onto the main road leading to the beach and Music Square. The tissues were good quality, and the toilet was a smart bidet. The slippers were quite clean. The owner was very welcoming, gave clear directions, and even waited up for me when my flight was delayed. The hairdryer, though small, had strong airflow, which was great. There were also clothes hangers in the room. Both the bath towels and bedding were very clean. Just a couple of minor suggestions: bottled water was forgotten in the room that day, and I also forgot to ask the owner for it. Also, there was no small bar of soap, so I used shower gel to wash my underwear. Everything else was fantastic. Taking a taxi from the airport to the guesthouse took about half an hour and cost 30 yuan, which is great value for money during the off-season!

Hygienic: The room is very hygienic, but now there will be a little dust in the construction outside, which is my acceptable range; external hygiene is also good. Environment: The hotel is located next to Zengcuo'an Scenic Area, it takes less than 5 minutes to walk; it is also close to the music square, and it takes less than 10 minutes to walk. Very quiet and comfortable (there are also reasons for the off-season), because it is easy to swim, there is no chicken blood, and it is very comfortable to go to the beach every day. We travel mainly by taxi to Zhongshan Road/Eight City/Shapowei/Dongdu Wharf is very cheap (10 yuan can be done). Service: I didn’t book this one originally. I lived in the Petronas Twin Towers. I felt that I was not good at finding this one online on the day of check-in. I immediately took a taxi to see the environment. The front desk lady was very warm and entertained (forgot to ask for the name, is a lucky girl full of balls and a very sincere girl), Patiently took us to see different room types, because some areas are still being renovated, the young lady reminded me intimately; the cleaning aunts are also full of smiles; Facilities: Some areas are still under construction, it is inevitable that there is a little noise and dust, but I don't think it has affected my stay, I don't feel very messy, and overall it is very quiet. It is a hotel I will recommend. Late night porridge: This is quite a surprise, although only white porridge and millet porridge (also equipped with a variety of pickles and steamed points), but hungry at night, you can eat downstairs is very convenient and intimate, or free to provide, and there is no because it is free Just make it, the porridge is still delicious, I didn't book a hotel breakfast, because this porridge was decisively added (there are not many types of breakfast, the taste is quite satisfactory ～). The photo of the room was not taken, but the look seen online was not bad.

Every staff member was incredibly warm and attentive. The location is excellent, with views of Zengcuo'an and the sea right from the window. I especially appreciated that I added the hotel's WeChat after booking online; Xiao Deng helped me upgrade my room, answered all my questions, and actively communicated with the on-duty staff to resolve any issues. As someone with mobility difficulties, I was thrilled with my stay. If I ever visit Xiamen again, I'll definitely choose this hotel.
