The hotel service was fantastic! The front desk staff were so warm and attentive, and they even had lots of little snacks and tea. đ The hotel's location is also superb, right next to the Hankou Shuita Food Street. For us foodies, this location is absolutely perfect! Takeout orders are delivered to your room by a robot, which is incredibly fast! There are also several Chayan Yuese bubble tea shops just a few hundred meters away, which we absolutely loved. â¤ď¸ Plus, being in the city center means it's super convenient to get anywhere. The subway station is only about 300-400 meters away! Looking out the window and seeing the autumn scenery was truly delightful. đ¤Š

The service was excellent. The hotel has its own parking and even offers laundry service, which is very convenient. There's also free late-night snacks, so overall, the value for money is outstanding. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The housekeeping aunties cleaned the rooms promptly. The breakfast was delicious â highly recommend! The transportation is also quite convenient, with bus and subway stations nearby. The bus stop is right outside the door, and it's very easy to catch a taxi. It's also quite close to Jianghan Road.

Service: Due to our reasons, the reservation was wrong, and the front desk helped us change the room. Thank you very much to the front desk lady! Later, my glasses fell off while eating breakfast, and the front desk also helped us put them away. Thank you. Room: The room was clean and tidy without any odor. There was a Gree air purifier and two snacks were given. Hot spring: It was too hot during the day, so we swam and played for a while before taking a hot spring bath. It was very comfortable. Breakfast: As shown in the picture, there are many varieties of breakfast and it is delicious.

Our family traveled and stayed at R&F Wanda Realm Hotel in Jingzhou. The hotel is not far from the ancient city and is convenient for sightseeing. Miss Zhao, who received us at the front desk, was very enthusiastic. Seeing that we had a lot of luggage (there was also a wheelchair, and my 90-year-old mother was accompanying us), she asked the concierge to help deliver the luggage to the room. Thank you!
The double room we booked only had 2 breakfasts, so we asked Miss Zhao to help give one to the elderly. Miss Zhao helped apply for it quickly. Thank you Miss Zhao!
The hotel room was clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and good service. Great!

This is my second visit to Wuhan, and I decided to try a different five-star hotel. This time, I chose the established Shangri-La. My overall impression is that the high price comes with being a five-star hotel, but the five-star experience is solely reflected in the service.
Firstly, I'm not really looking for super new or luxurious facilities; otherwise, reading all those reviews about outdated facilities and furniture would have been enough to 'veto' it. However, there are indeed many areas that could be improved. For example, there are no power outlets on either side of the bed. While the TV not supporting screen mirroring and not being a smart TV is one thing, it's also incredibly unclear with very few channels. These are all manageable, but the most serious issue is the extremely poor soundproofing! In the room, I could clearly hear conversations from the hallway, upstairs, and next door, as well as children running and playing. This level of soundproofing would be disastrous during peak travel seasons like holidays.
As I mentioned earlier, the hotel's biggest highlight is probably its service. There's a staff member in front of the elevators on the ground floor who greets passing guests. When going for breakfast, as soon as you enter, a female staff member asks what you'd like to drink, then prepares it and brings it to your table.
On a side note: the breakfast is quite good. And having stayed at many five-star hotels in China, perhaps apart from Shanghai, this is one of the rare ones that offers plain white rice for breakfast. It's very suitable for those who are accustomed to eating rice (and natto) for breakfast.
In conclusion: if you're looking for quality rest during peak travel seasons and major holidays, this might not be the place for you. However, during the off-season, if you want to experience five-star service, you could consider it. It makes me truly appreciate the common saying online: 'Wuhan â a desert of luxury hotels.'

This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images!
We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it!
The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park â far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch.
Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts â something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute.
To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats.
What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. đ Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

I highly recommend the Boya Smart Hotel! It's perfectly located right by the Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street night market, which is super lively in the evenings. From the train station, you can just take a Didi (ride-sharing app) directly to the alleyway by the hotel. Get off and walk a little into the alley, and you're there. I called ahead, and a staff member proactively came down to help me with my luggage, which was really thoughtful. They even upgraded my room for free! The room was very clean, and my child loved casting movies to the TV. It offers excellent value for money. When checking out, the same staff member helped me carry my suitcase downstairs. My two-night stay was fantastic. The front desk also has a lot of daily necessities, so you can contact customer service anytime if you need anything â it's very convenient. If I ever come back to Wuhan, I'll definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Quite a pleasant stay in this hotel. Smooth and quick check-in and out. Easy access to this hotel by MTR Line 4 from Wuhan Railway Station. You can reach the hotel directly by Exit J via B2 carpark. But be noted that it is available only on weekdays from 10:00 to 20:00. The hotel also offers signature Wuhan delicacies for breakfast. Thanks to Housekeeping team on 50th floor. They took quick action and responded promptly to our request.

GGuest UserIt was my first time to visit Wudang Mountain. I found this restaurant on the street. It was very low-key and reserved. I walked in to visit and it suddenly opened my eyes. I checked out of the hotel yesterday and moved in. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was good in many ways. Itâs hard to describe. The biggest surprise was the breakfast. The private chef had a wide variety of wontons, stewed noodles, dumplings, glutinous rice balls, sweet wine eggs, etc. It was very friendly to me, who is used to getting up late. I arrived at the restaurant after breakfast time and the housekeeper had already collected the food. Because I smiled and asked the housekeeper to help me, the private chef did his best to feed me. A happy day begins.
The biggest surprise was meeting a very good travel companion in the hotel. When we visited Nanyan Palace, the guest named Ziyin who we met by chance explained to us the cultural origins of Nanyan Palace and its surrounding areas in a very professional manner. What a surprise. Later I learned that this guest was a frequent visitor of Ziyin and the wife of a professor at a university in Shiyan. There are no mortals on the fairy mountain, but you can meet immortals in Ziyin Hall.

GGuest UserMaybe I started to pay attention to Dongcheng's hotels from now on. This is the hotel I stayed in. I felt that the layout was very reasonable. Watching TV, working and eating are arranged separately. The hotel laundry, gym and restaurant are well-equipped and the food is not perfunctory. The best thing is that the location is very convenient, close to the pier and backed by the pedestrian street. The service is also obviously well-trained. On the night of the 24th, I was extremely tired because of the long delay. The front desk receptionist was very considerate and arranged a comfortable room for rest.

RredpandaaThis was my first time staying at the Marco Polo Hotel. The location is superb, right next to the Hankou Riverfront.
We had initially booked a city view room for two nights, but the view wasn't ideal. A staff member then showed us a river view room, and we upgraded to a partial river view room, which had a fantastic view.
The room was well-appointed and very quiet. The toiletries were excellent, and the first mini-bar was complimentary, offering a good selection of beverages.
Upon check-out, we left our luggage with the concierge. The staff were very attentive and even gave us a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch. Thank you!
Executive Lounge Experience: The service at the executive lounge was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Enjoying the river view and light show from the lounge was a wonderful experience. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the glassware designs were nice, and there was a good selection of drinks.
The only issue I encountered was with the executive lounge breakfast service. Unlike other hotel executive lounges where staff proactively take orders from a menu, here I consistently had to ask for the menu myself. Furthermore, the dishes often didn't match their descriptions. For instance, the teriyaki salmon was listed with hash browns but was served without them. The waffles also had inconsistencies, sometimes missing fresh banana slices or syrup. The portion sizes were also inconsistent; one time we received four pieces, and the next time only two. I hope these aspects can be improved.
Another minor inconvenience was with taxis. On several occasions, drivers stopped by the roadside and couldn't reach the hotel lobby, citing the navigation system's endpoint. Unless explicitly instructed to drive further, it was a hit-or-miss whether they would go all the way to the hotel entrance, which was quite inconvenient.
Overall, the experience was quite pleasant, and I would definitely consider staying here again!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Somerset Future Center Wuhan and was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my experience. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, providing a true sense of comfort and relaxation.
One of the standout features was how quiet the hotel was despite being in a perfect location. It is close to key attractions, dining, shopping and cinema. It offered the ideal balance of convenience and tranquility.
All of the staffs are very friendly: from reception, housekeeping, gym and dining. Our special requests are fulfilled, we can borrow wheelchair to assist my mom to travel around, and we are extremely grateful. During the stay, I had the privilege to know some wonderful staffs such as Daisy, Kylie and Amy from the restaurant. They were absolutely wonderful, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit all tastes. The hot dry noodle and beef noodle were very tasty, top quality.
This hotel has exceeded all my expectations. We would surely book this hotel again when returning to Wuhan. Until then, see you and thanks for the wonderful experience!

They even washed and dried my clothes and delivered them to my room. At checkout, they gave me a gift. The location is convenient, and the price is reasonable, making it perfect for business travelers. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Wuhan. The facilities are comprehensive, and the environment is excellent.

KkillymikeQuanji Hotel, Xiangyang review
I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings.
First impressions
- Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to.
- Location: Pretty convenient depending on what youâre here for. It isnât in the center of Xiangyangâs busiest streets, but youâre within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that arenât overhyped tourist traps.
Room and comfort
- The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortableâfirm enough to support a good nightâs sleep but soft enough that you donât feel like youâre lying on a board.
- Amenities: Decent desk space if youâre traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch âbudget-firstâ like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosureâbut nothing deal-breaking.
- Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didnât notice any telltale corners being overlooked. Itâs the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess.
Service
- Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient.
- Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.
OOoiksWill I stay here again? Absolutely yes!
It's flawless and by far the best hotel i have stayed in China and in my life.
Firstly, when i stepped in, the front desk lady (ĺ°ć §ďźwas so friendly and patient to bribg me through the check in process smoothly and professionally. She patiently explained all the details and services available such as free meal services delivered by robot to room, free airport shuttle, breakfast timing and free laundry services.
Secondly, when stepped into the room, the room was so modern, sparkling clean and hi-tech. There was no foul smeel and smoking smell. Fruits (banana and madarain oranges) and some snacks were provided for free. The curtain can be open or close eith a press of the button beside the bed. The warm pressure and temperature are just right and functioning well almost instantaneously. The toilet bowl is also high tech and equipped with sensor and remote control that can heat up your cold butt in cold winter and wash your butt after your business.
Thirdly, there's a cute little robot that can accurately deliver meals to your roon! So cool!
Lastly, the breakfast buffet was sumptuous and amazing. Also the best i have had staying in China. Many varieties from small xakes, pastries, dim sum, vegetables, noodles, rice, salad, tea leaves, coffee, fruits, yogurt, juices, porridge and etc. The dining ambience is also relaxing and nice although it will be perfect if smoking is disallowed there.
Finally i also wish to extend my thank to the other frontdesk ladies who were on duty onthe night of 2 Jan 2024 and 3 Jan morning as they were also super friendly, polite and attended to my queries well. I offered a small tips of 10 yuan but they turned down as they insisted they are not supposed to accept tips. I am sad but still they are doing their job professionally and i am impressed.

EEthan Matthew HuntI came from Canada due to my business trip, this is absolutely A Hidden Gem That Outshines Even the Hilton Below!
I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Wuhan Hanyang Beike Hotelâthis place is a masterpiece of modern hospitality. If youâre looking for luxury without breaking the bank, look no further.
Letâs start with the view: from my room, I had a breathtaking panorama of the Yangtze River, with a front-row seat to Wuhanâs cyberpunk-style skyline. The glowing bridgesâincluding the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, Yangsigang Bridge, and Wuhan Yangtze River Bridgeâlight up the night like something out of a sci-fi movie. To top it off, you can even spot the historic Yellow Crane Tower, blending the ancient with the ultramodern in a way thatâs visually stunning and emotionally moving.
The interior design of the hotel is unbelievably sleek and luxuriousâweâre talking five-star finishes, modern lighting, spotless wood flooring, elegant furniture, and a spa-like bathroom that feels straight out of a high-end design magazine. Itâs the kind of place that makes you stop and say, âWow,â the moment you walk in.
Iâve stayed at the Hilton, located just downstairs, and while itâs fine, Beike Hotel blows it out of the water in terms of value, design, and overall experience. Youâre getting a top-tier, modern boutique stay at a fraction of the cost.
The staff, especially the warm and professional Ms. Liu, were incredibly helpful, attentive, and kindâservice was impeccable.
If youâre a traveler who appreciates unique experiences, luxury on a budget, and a fusion of futuristic style with rich cultural heritage, this is THE hotel to book in Wuhan. I canât recommend it enough.
I will definitely return, and when I do, I wonât even consider staying anywhere else.
MM53629****The hotel boasts an excellent location, right above a bustling pedestrian street with plenty of local snacks. We booked a suite with a balcony, and sitting out there enjoying the night view was fantastic. It was clean, and the room was spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, it's very close to various attractions and local spots. I'll definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Wuhan.
