We were surprised to find such a great hotel (seemingly just opened up for travellers on foreign passports) in such a remote city at the edge of the Taklamakan desert. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff at the front desk and a perfectly clean and well designed room with no fault at all. Comfortable bed, large modern shower, fast wifi and a good choice of tasty foods at the breakfast buffet make this hotel the place to stay in Hetian which we can strongly recommend.

We were checked in by Mr Kadeer, who informed us that the room I booked is located in the basement. He kindly offered to show us the room to ensure that we like it. The room was huge with a little courtyard for hanging your laundry. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good too. When we were there, a few weddings took place. There was a public lotus lake outside the hotel but sad to say it was very much neglected otherwise it would have boosted the hotel’s location. If you happened to be there on a weekend, take a right turn from the hotel entrance and walk to the end of the road. Across the road you can find a busy street of eateries with gatherings of families and friends.

The newly opened hotel has very good and enthusiastic front desk service. There is also dinner. I went to Kuche Palace to play and just came back to the hotel for dinner. The breakfast was also very rich, and the milk was especially delicious. The hotel facilities were also very good. The only drawback was that the bathroom had no door and the dry and wet areas were not completely separated.

A few suggestions: It is easy to forget to draw the curtains when checking in at night because it is dark outside. I hope the store will replace the main window with a gauze curtain to protect the privacy of guests. It is not reasonable to manually draw the window in the shower room. It is recommended to at least apply a frosted film. After all, the window faces the main road. For guests who value privacy, even a slight gap will feel bad. Overall, it is a very good living experience!

Upon check-in, we received complimentary souvenirs and milk tea. The room was very clean and hygienic. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to attractions, with a park right across the street. It's also within walking distance of the old town night market, where the evening performances are lively and plentiful. The hotel front desk staff were very friendly, and they even offer free airport shuttle service! Thumbs up!

The Grand World Hotel Urumqi is conveniently located at No. 76 Beijing South Road, with a subway station right outside the entrance. Although the hotel has been open for over a decade, it's well-maintained. The service, cleanliness, environment, and facilities are all excellent. It's definitely worth recommending.

First of all, when I entered the room, I was surprised that the room was equipped with a large-capacity humidifier, which was filled with water. It was very comfortable after turning it on for a night! Secondly, the breakfast dishes also provide dishes that suit the taste of southern guests, which is very attentive. Recommended! !
