The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it very convenient. The room environment was superb—spacious and very clean. The front desk service was also great; they proactively registered my airport transfer time and offered a wake-up call. The airport transfer service was incredibly convenient, getting me to the airport in about 10 minutes. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. Highly recommend! 👍👍👍

I’ve rarely ever felt so welcomed by hotel staff as during my stay at Mulanyu Tangsu Hotel. From being offered freshly brewed Yunnan tea upon arrival, to booking attraction tickets through WeChat for you, and even pouring out a local fruit wine in the evening the 老板(s) really seem to care and it shows! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Lijiang old town, yet secluded enough to be quiet. Only finding the place can be a bit of a struggle. Regarding the room I can’t fairly assess the price/value because I got a free upgrade. That being said, the room I got upgraded to was fantastic with all the amenities you could wish for. Due to how communal the place feels in the evenings, I also met a number of other travellers that I connected with. So if you are a solo traveller looking to spend an evening with company, this is yet another reason to come here :)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The room was beautiful, stylish, and incredibly clean. The location is perfect, as it’s very close to Lijiang Old Town. What made our trip truly special was our host, Ah Fei. He went above and beyond for us, starting from picking us up at the train station. He helped us arrange our Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tour and gave us excellent advice on how to navigate and enjoy Lijiang like a local. No matter how small the request, he was always there to help with a smile. Thank you so much, Ah Fei, for the warmest welcome in Lijiang. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay that we won’t forget… feels like home away from home, made us want to go back to Lijiang. My daughter and I loved the view of Yulong mountain from our very cosy and comfortable room, the 2 dogs and a cat who were so loving and playful, the warmest & most hospitable staff, the evening tea ceremony that made us sleep well and the delicious breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay and will recommend this hotel to our family and friends! Thank you, Nazhu team!

Overall an amazing experience, I’d definitely comeback again and recommend to my friends. Young staffs were very friendly and helpful since we arrived, good location and pillows are the most comfy ever. Breakfast has a wide variety of selection. City center surrounded by restaurants and easy accesible by Didi or taxi. Night time they offer free snacks at the restaurant and also reception of Taobao courier. 10/10!

Staying at Honglin Pavilion Inn in Dali was an absolute gem! The facilities and amenities were top-notch, far exceeding my expectations, and truly enhanced my trip. The inn's location is incredibly convenient. Step right out into the ancient city's streets, and a stroll to Erhai Lake is just a few minutes away. Walking into the courtyard was a breathtaking experience; it's designed in a classical Chinese garden style, with rockeries and flowing water complemented by vintage lanterns. The common areas feature incredibly comfortable rattan chairs and tea sets, and they even provide complimentary tea and utensils. In my free time, I'd brew a pot of tea and enjoy the scenery – it was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. All in all, the stay brought immense happiness. Next time I'm in Dali, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The mattress provided firm support, cradling away my fatigue, and the night was a tranquil dark chocolate. Morning light filtered through the sheer curtains, gently rousing my sleepy spine. The server remembered my preferred coffee strength, and the towels felt fluffy, as if kissed by the sun. Checking out felt like saying goodbye to a perfectly comfortable stretch of time.

The biggest feeling is that all the waiters in the hotel are warm and thoughtful. We have stayed in many parent-child hotels with our children, and the waiter training of this hotel is really great! The room is clean and tidy, the layout is warm and spacious, the hotel is in a good location and very quiet. Especially the front desk Minnie George is also very enthusiastic, and she took the initiative to add WeChat. If you have any needs during the three-day stay, you can send her WeChat to help solve them in time. There is also a male lifeguard with braids by the swimming pool. The child's swimming ring fell in the pool. He collected it specially the next day. My mother insisted that I write down to thank him. The buffet dinner is also great. After the meal, I took the children to DIY food. I got more than one comfortable and pleasant stay experience. Our whole family had a lot of fun staying during the May Day holiday.

A Stay at Kunming Green Lake Hotel: Elegance and Warmth of a Classic Establishment My stay at Kunming Green Lake Hotel completely shattered my stereotypes about 'classic hotels', and its prime location truly made the experience exceptional. The hotel is directly opposite Green Lake Park, so just a few steps from the entrance, you can enjoy stunning lake views and observe migratory birds. This makes it incredibly convenient for a morning walk or an evening stroll. The location is simply unbeatable. Despite its age, the hotel is exceptionally well-maintained, lacking any sense of being old-fashioned or gloomy. Both the public areas and rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy, with an air of sophistication evident throughout. The service was a delightful surprise; from check-in to handling daily requests, everything was handled with exceptional thoughtfulness. The staff were warm, professional, and their attention to detail truly showed they cared. The rooms are tastefully decorated, not with flashy designs, but with a refined and understated elegance. Paired with high-quality amenities, the overall atmosphere was both comfortable and cozy, making for a truly relaxing stay. I would certainly choose to stay here again on my next trip to Kunming.

The Four Points by Sheraton Kunming City Center is actually brand new, having just opened in May 2025. However, the building itself has a history, as it was previously the New Era Hotel, a landmark in downtown Kunming. After facing business difficulties and closing down, it was taken over and divided between Atour and Four Points by Sheraton. Four Points by Sheraton occupies the higher floors, with Atour taking the lower ones. Its location is truly in the heart of the city, bustling and vibrant, much like Beijing Road in Guangzhou. Large shopping malls like Kunming Department Store and Wangfujing are all nearby. The entire street is a lively pedestrian zone, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. You'll spot it easily when you enter from Nantong Street. Upon entering, the reception counter is to your right, and a spacious lobby lounge with sofas is to your left. It's a great spot to wait if, for example, your car hasn't arrived yet. After checking in, taking the elevator to the eighth floor brings you to the amenity level. This includes a well-equipped gym, a bar, and the breakfast area. The bar opens to the public in the evenings, with mostly sofa seating that's nicely partitioned for privacy and comfort. The drinks are also reasonably priced; a cocktail costs just 58 yuan. That evening, I had a whiskey sour, and for 58 yuan, it was perfectly acceptable. It's a good complementary feature for a hotel bar. Moving on to the room, you'll find complimentary welcome fruit on the table. To the left of the entrance is the bathroom, complete with a toilet and shower. The room itself is quite spacious with a long layout and a single king-size bed. At the far end, there's a very comfortable armchair with a high back, not a sofa, where you can sit and overlook Nanping Plaza, taking in the entire Kunming city center. Next to it is a desk directly facing the window, perfect for gazing out when you need a break. This entire hotel is a renovated property, with comprehensive and well-appointed public facilities, contributing to a more comfortable stay. When I booked my room on Ctrip, I noticed it was listed as a five-star hotel. However, in my understanding, a hotel without a swimming pool is typically considered four-star. Still, you can usually book a room here for around 400-500 yuan. Overall, the hotel's location is truly excellent. The advantage of being downtown is convenience for everything, but the biggest drawback is potential traffic congestion. For tourists, however, this place is unbeatable. The pedestrian street right below offers evening strolls, snacks, and easy access to various attractions.
