Booked 3 nights here & everything was amazing. The staff cleaned our room everyday. Room is big enough go accommodate 2 persons. It was super comfortable. The hotel is located exactly at the north (?) gate of Lijiang Ancient Town, so it’s easy to walk outside & food hunt! Met so many Malaysians who stay here as well. Walking distance to halal restaurants. Oh, the host can arrange the trip to JDSM for you too. Brownie points: Jiahao speaks english, he served us tea upon arrival, he arranged a driver to pick up from Lijiang Railway station & you can ask him anything, he will reply within 5 seconds! The customer service is 🔛🔝 🤌🏼 My fellow Malaysians, pilih lah homestay nii. You’ll feel like home even in China 👍🏼😁🎉

The location is very strategic, only 10 minutes walking to kunming railway station, and very easy to find food, convinient store, and near to city centre and some tourist attraction. The room clean, huge and complete amenities.

Excellent location, especially with a countdown concert nearby. Located in a walking area so need to walk 100-200m to the closest dropoff points for ride hailing. Take note some access routes to the area may be closed during countdown periods.

At first it was a little confusing because the hotel’s lobby located at 6th floor. The english is not so good (as usual) but the communication can be done via translator. The front desk are very helpful and will try their best to communicate despite the language barrier. The room is clean, good view. I had my friend booking with no windows room and it’s actually decent too. They actually have windows just that it faced inside the building. Not bad and not as claustrophobic as i thought it would. It’s located along ninping street, although it’s felt like on the end side of the road. So you need to walk quite a bit yo the centre side of the road. The gym is very basic probably just 3 equipments at level 6. The laundry is also at level 6. In general i would recommend. I have no complaint for my one night stay. Love it. There is even a tea brewing set in-room. Our main gripe was this building seems to be shared with other hotels/offices so the lifts were a little run down and took a long time to arrive at our floor (we stayed at level 25). Overall, this place is quite value-for-money, comfortable, and had ample space in room to open 3-4 big luggages. However, if you’re rushing to catch a didi etc, do allocate a few more minutes for the lift to arrive at your floor.

The location is superb. Just 120 meter or 2 mins walk from the Wuyi Station Exti B. And opposite Muji Shop. Easy to find. There are many shopping nearby. The old town and shopping street just in front from the hotel. The hotel smell nice. The staff very helpful. The room super clean. The breakfast is good. I really to recommend this hotel to stay.

The hotel provided 5 star services with a lot of amenities. the room was so clean, the bed so comfortable, hotel owner was so nice that they helps us to carry our bags, give us early check in due to our early arrival. the hotel also provided e-bike services for only 20yuan. Plus point, the hotel also near to dali ancient city. only 5 min walks u will arrive at the gate of ancient city. Love this place. Cheap but it has the nicest bed for my first night in Yunnan. Amenities are good, great hot shower. Clean toilet. But more importantly, it’s strategic location, walking distance to the train station for my early train to Lijiang. There’s also a decent supermarket downstairs, and for muslim like me, there’s a small noodle restaurant next to the hotel that open early in the morning. Food is not a problem! Definitely reccomend this place to travellers.

The owner and staffs are very helpful even before you stay. Gave good advice for the trip. Clean accommodations, good view rooms, looking out to see Yulong Snow Mountain view as shown in the picture. Especially the 5th floor has a beautiful view. In the evening you can go see the sunset. This place gives me a very warm and calm feeling. There’re a hand -drawn butter tea from Tibet prepare for guests, and you don’t miss afternoon tea was really delicious. I highly recommended this place! This is a well priced option in the city. It is about a 20-minute walk from the main Kunming railway station, so for those arriving at Kunming airport late when the metro has stopped running, you can take the airport bus to the railway station and walk to the hotel. The hotel is also a short 5 min walk away from the nearest metro station Tangzixiang, which is a convenient interchange station. There are only a few food options near the hotel but a walk to the Tangzixiang area throws up more. No amenities like a pool etc - typical of an Ibis but for the price paid, no complaints. Did not tru their breakfast so cannot comment. Night front desk staff can be a little rushed despite being professional.

Stay for one night but i extend of another 4 hours of stay because this hotel is cery comfy. I stay in many hotels during my trip to yunnan. I could conclude this is the best hotel in my trip here. The staffs are very friendly and helpful during my stay here. Near to suncheng street, nanping street, fashion mall and perfect place to stay (all places only 10-15 min by walking). Cleanliness is 15/10. Get the projector in the room and staff give me fridge magnet. Thank you so much for perfect service 🥰✨.

The location of this hotel is superb, especially for people who are leaving the city on high speed railway, which is located right next to this hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children, there's a voice-control smart home system in the room where you can control the lights and curtains by summoning ”小度”, it was quite fun for the kids. The hotel doesn't look grand from the outside, but inside everything was well maintained and functional. Our room's window directly faced the main road, but sound proofing was good and it was quiet. Centralised air-con but no smell of cigarette smoke. If i have to try hard to pick something and make suggests, the hand basin was a little small and water splashes onto the floor easily. Consider changing to a bigger washing machine and better dryer, because it took me 4-5 hours to dry the clothes after washing and your washing machine and dryer were in high demand, ha ha. But those are not big issues, this hotel is still a very good one. Highly recommended.

Good and clean stay there. The reception helped us a lot with booking trips to Shangri-la or the Snow Mountain or with daily questions. We got a lot of nice tea tastings as well. All in all a satisfying stay with a good location near the old town. I would definitely recommend.

Me and friends chose this guest house as our last stay in Lijiang. We just came back from our Shangrila and Yading trip. We fell in love with the place. We should’ve stay for more days here. The room is perfect. They have everything you need. The bathtub, washing machine, comfortable bed even give you breakfast and fruits. The owner is really really nice and very down to earth. One of the brother (big brother) also very funny, will always give you his biggest smile. His laugh is indeed contagious. Even though we only stay for one night, the service is really top notch. They will help with your luggage when you are check in and out. I highly recommend this stay for foreigner like us, because the brothers are really nicest people that I know in Lijiang. They are very genuine and kind. They also run a tea shop next door and grow their own tea! How cool is that! Highly recommend this guest house when you’re staying in Lijiang. The place is close to old town gate. Easy to get didi. Just walk within 5 min to the main road (near Intercontinental hotel). Thank you brothers! I will see you again when I come to Lijiang!

The location and design of the hotel are perfect for those wanting to experience Lijiang Ancient Town. There’s a lovely courtyard where you can relax enjoying a view of the ancient town — I was lucky to be there during New Year’s and got to see fireworks from there! I contacted the owner a day before my arrival for baggage pickup, and he help carry my bags to the hotel. Didi rides are easy to book, but be prepared for a bit of walking — it’s recommended for those with good knees, as you’ll need to hike a little to comeback to the hotel when heading down to the town center. The owner welcomed us with tea while we waited to check in, provided a steam iron when we needed one, and the guesthouse also offers washing machines (though there’s no dryer). He was very responsive to every inquiry and made an effort to chat with us, even though we used a translator app to communicate. On our last day, he even gave us free tea and helped carry our luggage to the Didi waiting point. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lijiang!

I had an amazing stay at Yutang Luxury Resort Hotel, located in the heart of Dali’s Gu Cheng. The location itself is a huge plus—nestled within the charming old town, it’s easy to take your time and explore the vibrant surroundings. The hotel serves a simple but delightful breakfast, and I found it to be just perfect for starting the day. It’s not overly extravagant, but it’s incredibly satisfying. One of the best things about the resort is its proximity to bars and local nightlife—just a short walk away, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere of Gu Cheng until late. The staff at Yutang were attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. After reading all the review about the owner, I booked this hotel and really excited to experience the warm hospitality myself. But unfortunately I didn't have the same experience as other traveller. The receptionist not very interested in us. We book family room (suppose to be for 4 people) but the room is very small with only 1 small side table. And only 2 bottle of water, 2 towels and no slippers were provided. I had to ask for the extra set. The booking come with ”gift” but the receptionist didn't mention it at all until we ask for it (clothes dye and BAI ethnic costume for photo, she also only allow 1 set of costume which not mentioned in the booking).

Comfy room with a wonderful view of Dali, including West and Eastern Erhaii coastal areas.Acceasible to different choices of food. Nearby jogging paths along Erhai are useful for people who love to do basic exercise in the morning. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. We had a wonderful stay at the Pure Soul Cliff Seaview Manor. The grounds and rooms are mediterannean themed, and it is beautiful! The staff and our host Mim were top-notch and made our stay more enjoyable. The ride and help with the luggage from the train station was a big bonus. The afternoon tea/coffee/dessert was delightful and the breakfast was simple, but delicious. The location was excellent and away from the crowds.
